So when we moved to Oregon we really didn't know if we could have such an effortless and ideal experience. I found Oregon Roads online and read all the reviews. We decided to call them to get a feel of what their service would provide. Joy Rose was exactly what we were looking for. She was professional and understood what what we wanted. Leasing from her went smoothly. We traded in our older vehicle and we got the exact car we wanted in the color we preferred and at the price that matched our budget. Flawless and terrific customer service. We highly recommend this company.

Every experience has been so much better than any of the other places around town. While they don't have the service department or the huge lot of vehicles, the process with them is pressure-free and friendly. Also, you don't spend a whole day at the dealership if you buy from them, they know what they're doing and don't waste time going back and forth between buyer and manager or whatever it is the larger places do to drag things along. They also won't push you to buy something you don't need. Every time we've been there, they've waited awhile before approaching us, letting us look at vehicles without feeling like you're going to be accosted by a stereotypical salesperson as soon as you park on the lot. Also, if you're looking for something really specific, they do offer to do the searching for you and will get you the car you're looking for, if you can't find it here right away. I recommend Oregon Roads all the time!

I was trying to purchase the truck from Hawaii sight unseen, and Miguel helped me every step of the way and sent me every detailed picture and all the information I requested. I can't say enough about how helpful he was. I wouldn't hesitate to contact them again if the opportunity arises to purchase a vehicle. If you get the opportunity to purchase a vehicle from these guys I know you won't be disappointed. Thanks again Autorama Eugene for a wonderful experience. Aloha! Kyle

Used Car Dealers were always in the same category as dentists and personal injury lawyers for me…read moreuntil my youngest son bought a 2012 Toyota Tacoma from Joe Baudichon at Autorama in Eugene. From the very first, Joe had our trust and never let us down. The truck was exactly as described, and it was the first time in 35 years we had ever even considered buying a vehicle without a test drive because of that trust. He made our long-distance purchase from the duty station in Seattle work with text, calls, Venmo for the deposit, and lightning fast response time, even with our three week delay that held the truck for picking up when military scheduling allowed. Joe followed through with every detail and made our son's first vehicle purchase a wholly positive one. Extraordinary and impeccable pride and professionalism in an industry where we thought it was impossible to find anything of the kind! We were so impressed, and recommend Autorama and especially Joe Baudichon without reservation.

I found a used Volkswagen and contacted them via app. The response was quick! Adam Colbert messaged me almost instantly and was there early the next day to show me the car. I liked the car but after talking about what I needed in a vehicle he showed me other options. Long story short I ended up leaving with a Ford Focus that was even lower in price then what I initially looked at. Adam made sure to understand what I needed- a car that I can pay off quickly and not have to worry about repairing (offered me an optional warranty for peace of mind) He has helped me with all my questions. I had a little hiccup with my car (a cap need tightened) but he made sure it was set straight ASAP. The whole experience was great and went way smoother then I could have imagined. If you go to Sheppard ask for Adam!

I called and made an appointment at Sheppard Auto Group. They told me I they would have it fixed by the end of the day on the same day I dropped it off. Well guess what, today is September 27 and they still have it - not repaired! Hyundai engineering was called a few weeks ago for suggestions on what went wrong and how to fix it? 5 tries and nothing has worked. We are now waiting for their latest attempt - a new wiring harness. That is to be installed this week if it is received from Hyundai. We are fast approaching two months they have had our car at Sheppard Auto Group. Unacceptable.

After your Toyota vehicle is serviced at a shop it is good practice to verify that the service work…read morerequested was actually done and done correctly. For example, decades ago my 1971 Ford F-100 pickup truck's oil pump failed. An independent shop replaced the oil pump. After driving the truck home I looked underneath the truck to check it out. I was surprised to find that the oil pan mounting bolts were all loose... A more recent example at Eugene's Kendall Toyota for routine maintenance: Oil change, tire rotation, tire pressure check, air and oil filters, etc. The most frequent problem: The tire valve stem caps were not tightened. And after one service visit, one cap was missing. Maybe a loose cap fell off on the way home. A more serious problem was over-filling the crankcase with oil. See the first photo. As shown, the oil level was above the dipstick "full" mark (right side in the photo), estimated at 3/8-qt high. As shown in the 2nd photo, I used a Mighty-Vac hand vacuum pump with about 2 feet of small white plastic tubing to suck the excess oil out, via the dipstick tubing, into the plastic container shown in the photo. The white tubing was inserted into the dip stick tubing as far down as it would go, then the excess oil was sucked out with the Mighty-Vac pump. Then there's the tire TPWS synchronization problems with a 5-tire rotation. Yes, I have five full size tires all with TPWS sensors. That took three visits to Kendall to get them up to speed on how to do a 5-tire rotation so that the TPWS works properly without error codes. Given the above, I now check the oil level dip stick, the tire valve stem caps and the TPWS before I drive away from the shop.

My mechanic recommended this dealership over the one in Salem but I didn't find it to be more personal or professional. Comparing it to my dealership experience from where I used to live, I found them to be needing some improvements with: 1) Streamlining the intake experience. It wasn't just me. There was another customer that was waiting inside the inner driveway area for personnel to come out. I was early so I waited about 10 minutes and then I went inside. The check in person did apologize but I'm still not sure if I was supposed to come inside or wait. There should be signs since it's not an intuitive process. And like I say, the other customer was confused too. 2) The music in the waiting area was way too loud. I could not concentrate, even with my earbuds in to block out the sound. I asked nicely if they could turn it down but it didn't happen while I was there. 3) I just felt like an annoyance really. Nothing particularly friendly happening here. I don't want to go back there. I think my next car will be a Toyota so I don't have two meh Kia dealerships to choose from and I can just stick with my mechanic that specializes in Toyota. I did like the video they sent me and the text communications. The lobby was a good space and I appreciated the tables where people could work and plug their devices in.

My car only came with one key fob and they are over a hundred dollars each for a second one, repairs were not completed despite being told the car was ready for pick up, there was no communication during the inspection, there was misrepresentation of warranty costs & options by the sales associate, and so on. When Sales Manager Randy was made aware of my concerns, he took accountability and action to correct the issues to the best of his ability. If after reading the reviews you still decide to car shop here, make sure you connect with a sales person who has been on the job at Kia for a bit, has some knowledge of the products and inventory available, doesn't use their personal devices to store sales related identifying information, and doesn't outright lie to you. If you made it this far and opt to buy a car here, I worked with Finance Manager Tanner who was easy to work with and helpful when coordinating payments, making corrections to paperwork, understanding warranty info, and tacking on a warranty to my purchase prior to taking possession of the vehicle. Make sure you ask questions & get answers to your satisfaction, read the paperwork thoroughly, if they promise to correct an issue on the car, make sure it's added to the "we owe" statement in your contract, and if something is not right, say something. Good Luck!
