Asked about a service light being on which they couldn't tell me why. Upcharged the car by 2,000 from what the website said then told me he was cutting me a deal. Told me I was picky for choosing the car which worked best for me. Just be prepared that they use credit unions to finance which puts most people owing a ton down. Had a friend who came here and had a similar experience with both salesmen. Bought a truck here last year and was scammed a lemon. 7 months in had to replace engine from cracked head gaskets and now come to find out the whole exhaust manifold is JB welded and duct taped together and 2 of the catalytic converters were going out and back up with sh*t. 7 thousand dollars later... I had been asking "whats that rattle below by exhaust" he said, "oh thats the cat and you can remove those" and I knew that i could bc I did on my subaru, and me not knowing to much on vehicles thought I could do that, come to find out my Truck has 4 cats and cant be removed. granted I did get 500$ off for the cat. The fact is that he knew the whole exhaust system was F**ked. And tbh I could see through this guys fake attitude and persona. I am pleased with the quick and easy buying experience. Gotta say- if you're looking for a perfect car right off the lot, this kind of lot isn't what you need. They turn over the cars quickly and are selling cars as is- which is what most used car lots will do. Take it in to be inspected, and plan to dish out a bit to get the cars running in great shape. Complaining about a well used car you didn't go get inspected before purchasing is silly. He spent quite a bit of time with us over the course of a few days and was very honest about his likes and dislikes of specific vehicles on the lot. When we were ready to purchase a second vehicle we returned to Crescent. Mo greeted us with a friendly smile and pointed us to his preferred vehicles. He was conscious about our budget and again, he was up front about specific concerns of the vehicles and why they weren't the best fit. I just bought a car through Crescent this last weekend. Not only am I really pleased with the car I purchased, Roger worked with me on the price and that helped me out a lot. I was also offered an amazing warranty and given that the car I bought has over 100k miles on it, I was pleasantly surprised that was an option. I went to test drive my car and loved it, but told them I'd be back as I had other cars to look at and they didn't try to give me a hard sell, which I really appreciated. I had gotten preapproved through my preferred credit union and they were happy to use that as the lender. I had a good experience with Mo and Antonio. I inquired about a Toyota Rav4 on their lot just a bit before closing one evening. The car was priced fairly and after a test drive I was quite interested in the vehicle, but I wanted to check in with my credit union first. I put down a $200 deposit to hold the car. The next day I also sent my father down to check out the car, and he accidentally put the car's key in his pocket and left. Mo reached me by phone to let me know and we were able to get the key back to them later that day. After checking in with the credit union I found out that because the mileage was just over 100,000 miles, I could not finance for a term over 60 months, and I needed a longer 72 month term. I wanted to go through my credit union and decided to pursue a vehicle with lower miles. I was afraid I might not get my deposit back, but they did not have a problem with returning my money to me even with holding the car for me for over 24 hours. That really helped me in these extra challenging times and tighter finances. I appreciate their fairness and professionalism and would very much consider buying a car from them in the future. read more

Absolute joke of a dealership, cars are detailed by a 12 year old it seems, because there's still garbage in them as soon as you move the seats. They also will not even give you anything for your trade. Then they'll claim that their cars are worth more then blue book because of aftermarket parts. Ummm no that lowers the value because some idiot drove it. Even though the body had more dents then a street full of pot holes, it doesn't matter how the old the car is, it means it was not well taken care, the touch up on the scratches makes it look worse then before, body parts are busted but yet the car is worth more then it's even fair market value. read more

if it were possible, I would give them a 10 star rating! I drove up from the Roseburg area, (60 miles away) to look at a car I had seen online. after arriving, I was quickly greeted and was given the keys to go look at the car. I decided to take it for a test drive, the car ran smoothly, and I was overall happy with it. however, I was hesitant to make the purchase. not because there was anything really wrong with the car, but because I knew I was now a woman in the man's world of cars. I had heard all the horror stories over the years about used car Salesmen. (not about this place, but about Salesmen, in general) deep down, I was scared. I needed a car right away. but, even more so, I needed something reliable. being a mother to a child who sees a Nephrologist from Doernbecher's, reliability was and is a MUST! on the test drive, I did notice that there was a funky smell that was coming from the car, when I brought it to their attention. I was told they had replaced the clutch before putting it on the lot and the new clutch needed a "break in period". I was assured this was the smell I was smelling, and that it would go away in a couple hundred miles or less. at that moment, I agreed to purchase the car. I was told AFTER the transaction, if I wasn't 100% satisfied, or if I didn't feel the car was going to be safe and meet my needs, then I could bring it back the next day and my money would be fully refunded, with no questions asked. that gave me peace! within a day or two of my purchase, I received a private message from Crescent, asking if I had made it home safely and if I was enjoying the car. I was treated with respect and will be returning to Crescent Automotive for any car buying needs I might have in the future. I recommend you do the same! read more

Awful customer service, awful cars, awful people!!! I bought a car from these crooks back in January, it is now May, and 4 months later I have spent well over 600$ in repairs that aren't even halfway finished yet. I politely asked them if they did repairs on site and instantly the owner got defensive and started yelling at me, telling me that it was my car now and my problem (mind you I already stated to him that I knew all cars were sold as is with no warranty and simply wanted to see if I could pay them to do the work on their junk car they sold me). After giving up and doing the work myself with guidance from a mechanic friend of mine, I have discovered some new problems I would like to share with any future victims of their deception, the motor mounts were held on with rubber bands and rusty bolts! The driver side door panel is missing its support clips and the handle is held on with black electrical tape! The wiring is absolutely FUCKED, nothing but stripped insulation and melted wire tied up in knots to hide it! The alternator was barely reading 11 volts a week after buying it! But the absolute worst part is after all this money was spent, I didn't even get my tags for my plates!! That's right, you read that correctly, these slimy crooks didn't even mail them to me. I called, furious, hoping they could make it right. The lady was denying that they were even obligated to do anything as far as tags were concerned and then refused to show proof they visited the DMV to pick up the tags!! When I arrived she was hiding in the back and had one of her co workers trying to intimidate me. So on top of dealing with a lemon car, RUDE staff, and hundreds and hundreds of dollars in parts and repairs, I had to shell out even MORE cash to fix an error brought by their utter incompetence. These people are BAD, DECEITFUL, RUDE, SHAMELESS CROOKS with no sense of people skills, responsibility or accountability. Only come here if you want to pay out the ass and be screamed at and lied to. Let me start by saying I bought a 2003 Mazda 626 in 2005 I thought I was getting a great deal bought it for $4500. Right when I drove off the lot the check engine light came on. I took it to my mechanic do the full scan of the whole car. He informed me that there was water in my engine my transmission fluid had chips of metal in it and the radiator was leaking. So every one of my major components in the car was destroyed and not functioning properly. I called the guy who sold it to me named Miller and he told me I was Sol. I scrapped the car within the first 3 months because it would cost me more than the car was worth of it back together. The funniest thing was when my cousin was getting married a month later he had a 2001 Land Rover that when he was driving the steering column pulled out of it this was 3 weeks after he bought a car and I asked "hey where'd you buy that car at? Cresent auto?" Jokingly and he said yes I did! How did you know? Just a hunch I guess. Don't support these people horrible. read more

I purchased a NEW TO ME car in March. Its the perfect little car. There was a slight issue with the Air Bag sensor and the light was blinking. Rick the mechanic told me it would be fixed for me. I did go back a few times to get it fixed... problems with the parts and waiting time for the new parts to come in. No big deal... I knew it would be fixed. Today I drove away with NO blinking light and a fresh new air bag. I cant say enough about the customer service and how willing everyone is to go the extra mile to get your vehicle fixed to your satisfaction. And when you go back and let them know that they sold you a junker and ask them to fix it. They are rude and tell you they can recommend a shop. I would never recommend this shop to anyone. And if you decide to shop here and are female make sure you bring a car guy with you and he does all the talking. They seem to try harder to take advantage of females. They gave me and my wife two separate prices on a car. 2500$ different. As a local business owner in the eugene springfield area I understand that you have to make money but to purposely sell bad cars to your local customers....its not a good way to run a business. read more

The worst car experience we have had in the many times of buying used cars. They were very deceptive. Yes, this is AS IS, but you would think they would be respectful enough to let us know the work to be done. They told us that they put in an new radiator, which upon doing numerous repairs to this truck the moment we got it home, we found they change the radiator cap and cleaned the radiator only as far down as could be seen. The drain petcock was broken and very little fluid in the radiator. There is a transfer case problem so we drain the fluid and only an ounce came out when there should be more like 2 quarts. It will take $2000 to fix the transfer case. You would think they would make sure all fluids are full to drive off the lots. We had to replace the front end. These are just the things we got to at this point, a month after buying the truck. Only got to drive it home. Have not even been able to drive this truck. My son's first car... So very disappointed! read more

I purchased my last car from Crescent (Lexus) so I decided to come back. I really appreciate that this dealership does everything possible to get you out the door with a vehicle. I was only approved for a $5k loan through Selco, so I needed to come up with a down payment of $2k. I didn't have the $2k so the owner let me pay with post dated checks to cover the 2k over three months. The windshield wipers were completely shredded, so it made me question the maintenance along the years, but they agreed they would replace them for me. (I am still waiting on their call so they can replace them, but I trust their word). Selco also provided a warranty for me, so I feel more at ease. I have had the car for about 2 1/2 weeks and no problems starting and I have been using it as my daily driver. Seems legit. It's beemer, so I am expecting some hefty maintenance bills soon, but hopefully the warranty covers most of it. All in all, the hispanic gentleman there is my favorite. I really like the owner too because he is efficient and straight to the point. If you are sensitive you might take it as rude, but I just thought it was humorous. Not any more pushy than any other car dealership you go to. I got what I wanted and am happy with the dealership. read more
