On 3, 18 ,2023, my wife and I went to kiefer Kia. She wanted to purchase a Telluride suv and at that time they only had a certified pre-owned 2020 Fwd Telluride Lx for $35,000 is what they said and even though it didnt have a sunroof or Awd and had 40,000 miles on it she went ahead and bought it. So 3 weeks later she decides that she really wants the sun roof and awd so we start looking at the Kia site online and find a 2023 Telluride s that is Awd and has a sunroof and nav and second row captain chairs and heeted seats that is suposed to be ariving at Kiefer Kia in a few days and the MSRP is $42,645. So we go down there to see if we can get that vehicle instead of the one we had and we would be happy to compensate for the 3 weeks and 717 miles we put on it but for that kind of money she wanted the one she wanted. They we very nice and told us sure we needed to put $2000 down on the new one and it would be ours when it arrived in a couple days. And we could get back our original down payment towards the new one, and they would just unwind the previous deal and redo the new one. They told us there would be no negative equity and we could just do the new deal, we said great heres your $2000 to reserve it, and we'll see you when the new one arrives. Two days later, the car arrives, and we get the call to come switch cars and sign new paperwork. So we fly down to the dealership and get the new car. Shes in a hurry to get to work and they are taking their time and so by the time she gets to signing shes in a hurry and so the finance guy starts feeding her the paper work and shes signing and initialing as fast as she can. Finally, she finishes and gets the keys and we leave. She goes to work, and I go home. Everything is wonderful until we get the first bill in the mail, and we see that the new payoff for the car we have is now $53,120, and I crap my pants. I dig up her paperwork and sure enough they gave her $29,000 for her trade in that she had three weeks and put 717 miles on and paid $37,000 for and was suposed to have no negative equity on, not only that but they also charged her $49,000 for the new suv that had a MSRP of $42,645 . They never ever mentioned adding $7000 to the price of the new car. And we ended up putting another $5000 down on it because they said financing wasn't going through without it. So basically, she now owes $53,120 on a suv that she put $12,000 down on and had an MSRP of $42,645. These guys are cutthroat criminals who take every advantage they can and are playing off your trust . I would not deal with Keifer Kia ever again, and if you're considering it, my advice is to go anywhere, but Kiefer Kia, if you dont want to be taken for every penny they can swindle off of you. Horrible people that have no intention of giving people a fair deal. Be very, very careful if you plan on dealing with Kiefer Kia and read everything you sign. If you don't, you'll be sorry!! read more
