I made an appointment to get my trailer hitch looked at as we had a slight "incident" with our hookup leaving our last campground. They got me in same day. I was quoted the labor rate. They came out and inspected my hookup, spent a good 10 minutes checking over all our equipment, and made sure everything was operating as it should be. Having been convinced that it was operator error on our part with our "incident", I went in to pay. No charge. How's that for customer service today? I will definitely be going back for any hitch or towing needs and recommend them to anyone who needs such service. read more

These guys are the bomb! In need of a tow hitch on my SUV, and after getting a $1000 estimate from my dealer (I know I know) I decided to try to call around to see if I could get a better price. The woman answering the phones is sweet as pie and very quick to get your answers. Now normally in these "car place" situations the second person you speak to is a grumpy old man who is tired of your voice. NOT HERE! Everyone I spoke to at this business was an absolute dream! Everyone is nice, they have fair prices and very fast service. I dropped my car off for the hitch to be installed, but I really should have just waited. I needed a 5th wheel hitch for my new trailer and Hitch Pro & Tow came highly recommended. I traded some emails with Ken on what I needed and pricing. We set the install date by email as well. I upgraded my Jeep and discovered a new baseplate was required to tow it behind the RV. HitchPro Tow was recommenced as the place to complete the work - I'm so glad they did. Had a wiring harness installed on my 2000 Toyota Sienna. They did an excellent job, charged a fair price, and were quick about getting me in and getting it done. They really did a good job with the wiring, I was worried that I would end up with loose dangling wires or something, but they did a very tight and professional job and installed a slick receptacle with a cover. I'm really happy with it. Note that the waiting room is pretty small, but they did have enough space for me to wait while they did the work. The layout of the site is a little wonky, too. They were busy and didn't have a place for me to park when I showed up, but it wasn't a big deal. I just blocked someone in and they dealt with it quickly. I had a great experience and would definitely go back if I needed another hitch or hitch wiring installed. read more

Purchased a trailer and was forced to have Camping World do the install of my hitch and weight distribution. My trip home was not comforting, I took it back the next day telling them that it was not correct and I felt like I was going to lose control from whipping at 45+MPH. I was told that the trailer was setup PERFECT and they made me feel like a complete idiot. They suggested I purchase sway control for $250. My family went for a trip that weekend and the driving portion yet again was horrible. I made an appointment with Hitch Pro & Tow and explained what my issues were. They suggested that they have the shop check the setup and possibly just make adjustments or maybe needing sway control. HP&T had my Tahoe and trailer for less than an hour and made SEVERAL adjustments. They asked specific questions like, how many passengers in the Tahoe when pulling, how much water will I haul and how much luggage and where the luggage is stored. The service tech tossed me the keys and said lets take a test drive. Immediately I felt the difference, we reached higher speeds where I was feeling my swaying issue. The Tahoe and 24' trailer was as solid as can be. If you have ANYTHING that you are pulling or going to pull, I STRONGLY SUGGEST having HP&T check your connection over. I took additional test drives at freeway speeds and it felt like an entire different vehicle and trailer. I even filled up my fresh water tank full and pulling at freeway speeds it felt solid. We had a problem with the wiring receptacle on our tow car causing the turn signal and brake light to not always work. We stopped by and they got us back on the road within an hour. When the work was completed they had me try and connect the cable so I could tell the difference. This was about the best service I have ever received.
