Staff was Supportive and knowledgeable about products. I was shopping for a helment. There were several in stock and I worked with one of the sales representative to piece together which helmet component was most important to me and then which helmet matched with what I wanted. It was great. The only negative comment I would say is that there were no full face helmet above 1x and maybe a couple 2x but No helmet bigger. Made me sad. I don't have a Triumph or any of the bikes that are sold by Cycle Parts, yet they are always helpful and willing to troubleshoot and provide advice. They have been able to source parts that I couldn't find online or through local dealers. The one downside is the owner has no problem telling you your a dumbass if you say something stupid. I had a really bad experience and am so disappointed for my first time at Cycle Parts. I thought I was happy with the work which I paid over $500 for in the first place. The main issue was the motorcycle battery kept draining. I had it checked several times at Auto zone, and they told me the battery have plenty life remaining but it might be some issue with the motorcycle itself. So before I went to Cycle Parts, I called and explained the problem very clearly. Of course they told me to bring the bike in, and once I got there I explained the battery problem again. Their first action was to check the battery which was obviously dead because it was not being charged by the motorcycle during the ride. Their quick response was that I had to get a new battery. I trusted them as the mechanic and thought that was going to solve the battery problem. After 4 days of riding, the battery was dead in the middle of my ride to work. I immediately called them and told them the battery was dead, and of course, they told me to bring it back even though I had expected they fixed it for good. After the mechanic analyzed the problem again, he told me that the problem was I had to change the stator, regulator and the gasket because they were all bad at the same time and it would cost me around $500. They said that would solve the battery issue for good. Obviously the mechanic doesn't have any clue or experience as a professional, and seemed to just wanted to rip me off period! The best part, he dared to charge me an additional $30 just to analyze the problem for the second time. I was shocked and surprise at the charge as though it will be free of charge after already spending $500 at the shop for tires and the battery they said was the problem. I felt like I do NOT have to paid the $30 which I initially refused to do. They should stand up for their mistakes. Then they began to show a darker side. The mechanic got mad and upset with a really bad attitude started cursing using the F..... word and said that this is America and he can say whatever he wanted by using FREEDOM OF SPEECH! (P.S. This is racist becasue he obviously knew from my accent that I was not originally from America). This place is unreal. I wonder how many customers they have snowed and wonder how they have stayed in business with only one inexperienced mechanic on staff. Anyway the best part of the story, I went online to check out the parts they said I needed, and paid for the best quality at a cost of $180.00. So now I had the parts in hand, and just needed some professional to replace it. I went to Ramsey Waite which had much better customer service to begin with. They have several professional mechanics who were able to really understand the issue. The worst and best ending ... they not only fixed the problem for only $50 labor, but they only needed to use the regulator, not the gasket nor the stator. I'm still stuck with the other parts because of Cycle Parts "professional diagnosis." If I were you, I would check twice before you take your bike to CYCLE PARTS on 11th. They are gonna rip you off by knowing that you don't know much about your own bike. You might even think they did a great job but they just took full advantage of the fact that they are the mechanic. So, when I approached the owner about the $30 charge to analyze the problem the second time, he told me I had to pay and never come back because I am not welcome after all! Fellow riders, I took my time to explain to you my very bad experience at this shop to make you aware that they are not as good as some reviews state. I am not saying don't go over there but make sure you are satisfied and get your money's worth and do research. In the end, the bike is till great over a month later thanks to Ramsey Waite. I would not trust my '99 Triumph Trophy to any other dealership. These folks know what they are doing, and charge a fair price for it. I have never had a problem with Rod, the owner, and have always found him helpful. I have gotten some great free advice from them as well. read more

He changed pricing and said i we were ignorant when questioned his price changes-Wow When said we have never been treated so horrible and not sure we would be back, he said ''good", really!!! This is the best cycle shop ever. They are experts at fixing anything they service. Recently, I bought a very neglected scooter off of Craigslist and took it to them for minor repairs and safety checks. They found a potentially life-threatening problem with the brakes, fixed it, and I've been happily riding around town with absolute confidence since then! They're not cheap but they are definitely worth the money. Also, super nice folks! As long as I'm on two wheels this is my shop of choice. read more

Cycle Parts is incredible. They helped me find a scooter that fit me, and gave me an incredible deal on it (over $300 off because it was a 2009 model). They took care of DMV registration, and are always helpful on the phone. My scooter tipped over and the gas came out, flooding the carburetor. I couldn't start it. I don't know anything about mechanics, and when I called, the owner of Cycle Parts, Rod, made a house call and was able to fix it for me. He charged me nothing. Thanks, Cycle Parts! read more

These Guys ROCK! They are old school motorcycle. They are in the business because they love it and it shows. I was stranded in southern Oregon with a rear tire showing cords. I called them up and they promised to stay late on a saturday to mount a tire for me. I pulled up about 20 minutes after their close time. Mounted up, quick and easy. They even gave me a bit of a break on tire price, when they could have gouged me. THIS is customer service! read more

This is an old school dealership. They may be a little crusty, but when you need them, they come through. My T100 Bonneville stopped charging midway through a long trip. They didn't have the part I needed, but called the Portland dealer, made sure he had the part and told them I was on my way. I did need a battery (old one probably fried by lack of charge) and he sold me a battery and didn't charge me one dime for installation and troubleshooting. A true sportsman read more

Horrible!!! I crashed my triumph sprint and ordered $1100 worth of parts. It took over 2 weeks to get them in. I live 3 hours away so I made special arrangements for someone to pick them up. I opened the boxes to find that one $300 piece wasn't there at all, one piece has a broken mount which was taped to the backside of it and it also had scratches where someone dropped it on the corner, and the mirror had scuffs all over it. I don't own a Triumph, but after I was hit and needed a shop for the insurance estimate I took it to them for the work. All I can say is "WOW!" Super helpful, very thorough and efficient. They ordered the part for my bike, but since they weren't a Yamaha dealer they had to go through the local dealership. Counter girl was really on top of things. She had told me, when I ordered the part, that it might take up to a week for it to come in from the dealership. A week to the day later she was on the phone bugging the dealership wanting to know where the part was. When the part was finally delivered it was an hour until closing and the mechanics pulled my bike in and finished the work before closing. Oh and they only charge for the actual time it takes, none of that "minimum 1 hour of labor" B.S. that some shops will try and push on you. While ordering the part I inquired on some other aftermarket parts and the mechanic was very knowledgeable and honest about bike not being able to push the extra electrical load. Some shops would have taken advantage of that moment to rack up a few extra sales and labor hours, but these guys were very upfront and honest. Cannot say enough good things about this shop. read more
