I also would have bought my leather jacket from here instead of Harley because they are way cheaper except I have short girl problems and the Harley jacket fit me better. I was also going to return here to get my boots and chaps because they have such a great deal but I happened to score Harley brand at Buffalo Exchange for $40 a piece. Not even broke in. I had a long talk with one employee who took notes for the technician explaining what I had done already with no improvement. I was ready to pay them However many hours it took even if it needed a complete rebuild. It was only a few days later they finished and called me. The technician never heard about the notes taken and just changed the pilot jet one size. I did eventually figure out that my float level was way off and it runs perfect now. I know they are a very skilled capable shop but it seemed like they just didn't have time for my old bike. I still buy oil and accessories there but probably won't have any more service done.

My husband and I really like the idea of flying with our bikes. We are frugal so we liked the idea of not having to pay for over sized luggage on airlines. We invested in a couple of BikeFriday's World Tourists. My husband's doesn't fit or ride like the one he tried in Eugene. My bike fits pretty well but it falls short in many other areas. First off don't invest in a Bikefriday e-bike. The e-bike system is a retro fit. It's not clean or streamlined and very much jerry rigged. If an e-bike is your end game just get the standard bike and take it to a reputable bike shop. Lots of bike mechanics can do a retrofit. The motor and battery are basically hanging off the stem and seat. I was told this design makes it easy for service and repairs but a good system and equipment shouldn't need repairs. The wires are running all externally and secured with spiral cable wrap. The spiral cable wrap is the plastic stuff used to secure cables under your computer. This stuff is not going to last. Don't buy the suitcase. It's horribly overpriced and very cheaply made. The suitcase is just a case. It is not retrofitted in anyway to secure the bikes in the case. That is done by wrapping and securing with pipe insulation and rubber bands. We've flown our bikes a couple of times and these cases are not going to last the regular wear and tear of travel and airports. One of the wheels on my husband's bike got bent during our last flight. Also don't buy the folding bike rack. It's $200 and doesn't even fit in the suitcase. Presently there are many great bike grips and extensions on the market. The climbing extension on the Bikefriday is low end and unnecessarily long. They are the old school, first generation climbing grips. I'd pass. I'm switching mine out. The bike colors and paint quality is amazing. I'm not saying don't buy a Bikefriday. All I'm saying is do your homework and know what you are getting. For a custom bike it's mediocre at best. Also it takes 30 minutes to assemble when you arrive and 30 minutes to repack.

This to me was inexcusable not to inform me 1st & then to never ask me if I wanted my deluxe trunk back!. This accessory was not damaged and in good condition? Their reply to me was they threw it in the dumpster? I find this an unacceptable answer and suspicious as the one off trunk key was never returned to me? My Trunk was worth $500+ & the repalcement was $455. This was a lousy experience and I am a victim

It needed tuned as I was experiencing a performance(carb) issue, an electrical issue, and a cooling issue. I also wanted to upgrade some parts. Aaron diagnosed all issues, made recommendations on repair and sourcing parts, allowed me to order parts from EBay or other sources as needed. He kept me apprised of the labor costs as he discovered items needing repair.
