This place is relatively new in Irvine and their specialty is the Mango Pomelo Sago and all for good reason. Came here with family on a weekend and was expecting a long wait but the staff are super fast and organize on preparing the drinks. They definitely get a lot of take out orders here. Since it was my first time, I got their main special. I really like how fresh the mango and pomelo are. A lot of other tea shops that serve this same drink have very bitter pomelo. Not talking about a slight bitter that's expected from the fruit but a jarring one that's unpleasant. Base on how the drink tastes, I think they source their fruits carefully. You can adjust the sweetness which is nice since a lot of places don't tend to let you adjust it for this drink. I think it might be due to the coconut milk, but here they let you. I've only tried the 100% since I always go for the default on the first try. It actually wasn't too sweet, I would liken it to 75% at other places. I can probably try 50% or 75% next time and see how it is. The interior is really bright and cute. There are some seats available but it definitely looks like it was designed to be a pick-up and go place like most new boba shops. The plaza it's in can be difficult to find parking, but if you don't mind walking a bit, there is more parking in the back of the lot (if you're not a fan of waiting for a parking space). All in all, I would come back again. I'm curious to try their other drink, but would definitely get their Mango Pomelo Sago again.

We were in the area and decided to grab a drink before heading back home and the Diamond Jamboree plaza was soooo packed so tried coming here instead. It was also packed. But we did fortunately find a few spots hidden in the back. I just didn't feel like parking in the garage because it's pretty hot. The place is very well lit and looks comfortable with some seating. The decoration was really cute with all the panda pics on the walls! I went to the kiosk to order my drink, but was having a hard time placing the order. For some reason it was telling me topping is required for my drink. But the Jasmine Tea Grape smoothie drink I was ordering was supposed to already include jelly? But I tried adding jelly too, but still it wouldn't let me add the drink to go to pay screen? It was very weird, but I went to front and the girl behind the counter was able to put my order in through her machine. But it was a little frustrating how I couldn't order. The girl was really nice though and she put it in and drink came out very quickly. Like maybe 5 minutes so that kinda made up inconvenience. The drink was very cool and refreshing, perfect for the hot weather! And it really tasted like the big grapes I order at the Korean grocery! Very fresh and not too sweet. I ordered 50% level sweetness so it was just perfect for me as I usually go for less sweet drinks. I would say it's the same sweetness levels as 85C drinks. I usually get 50% at 85C too. It was a little pricey side, but they only have one size drinks being all Large. But about the same price as It's Boba Time when ordering their premium Large smoothies too. Since it has real fruit pieces and fresh made tea and jellies so the price is the same as similar drinks. But this would be a splurge for sure, not for daily ordering unless you're made of money lol! But it was something new to try and scratched my itch for a cool fruity drink to beat back the summer heat and drive back home. I might come back if I'm nearby and my usual boba place is crowded again. A good solid choice and something fun to try for the novelty of it because I haven't seen many places do grape drinks before. So I just wanted to try it out.

Kiosk are available for ordering convenience! My husband and I came around 9PM and it was pretty busy. We probably waited 15-20 mins for our drink. We ordered the Handmade Brown Sugar Pearl Tea with Taro Balls added on and Grape Jasmine Tea Smoothie with Jelly. The Brown Sugar Pearl Tea was pretty strong in tea flavor which was great. The Grape Jasmine Tea Smoothie with Jelly was amazing and refreshing! I usually do not like grape flavor stuff, but this surprised me a lot. If you're looking for tea and fruit blended into a smoothie, I would highly recommend this!

Walking into the store, there are so many panda themed decorations & around this time, it was filled with world cup flags. You will be greeted by a large Los Angeles sign in Irvine. There are 2 kiosks on the side for ordering. There was only 1 family in front of us, but the line would easily run out the door on a crowded day. I got their jasmine tea latte for something light and refreshing at their recommended sweetness, which was perfect sweetness. I only wish the tea flavor was a little stronger to compare to some other stores known for their jasmine. The drink became very milk-tasting by the time the ice melted. Next time, I would try a fruit tea instead!

Loved this gorgeous and calm boba spot! Some people were working on their laptops, and some were enjoying a conversation with family. TeaByDo is a popular boba tea chain from China with its first SoCal location in Irvine! This spot is located in a plaza with parking directly in front of the shop or additional parking underneath a parking garage. Inside, they currently have some cool World Cup themed decor and special World Cup magnets. Wifey ended up getting the Mango Coconut drink and I got the Peach Plum Jasmine Tea. Both drinks were super refreshing and made with some quality fruit. TeaByDo welcome to SoCal!

I stopped into TeaByDo simply because it was conveniently located next door to the place I was getting food from, Yonny. There was a promotion at Yonny where you get a free appetizer if you buy a drink from TeaByDo, so that was a plus. The interior of this place is spacious, bright, and clean. It was confusing to me on where to order. I was standing around for 10 minutes at the cashier and none of the workers asked to see if I needed any help. Here I thought I was just being patient and waiting for them to take my order. I eventually realized that there were self-order kiosks on the far left from where the entrance is. It didn't make sense they put it so far from where the cashier/where you walk in. I'm mostly annoyed that workers here made no effort to direct me where to order or even bother asking me when they just stood around because it was not busy. I got the Mango Pomelo Sago ($7.99). It was good, but not great. If you like traditional Hong Kong Mango Pudding dessert, you'll like this. For the price, I definitely wouldn't come back for it.

It's a cute shop, drink was OK. I got the watermelon jelly drink, 30% sweetness. Even with 30% sweetness, it was still pretty sweet. I didn't really enjoy the texture of the watermelon with the jelly. It was a very very chunky drink. I am a boba fan, but I think the chunks of watermelon with the jelly was too much for me. Also between the ice, the watermelon and jelly, there really wasn't much liquid to drink. It's kiosk ordering and you just wait for them to call your number. It took quite a while to get my drink. It was really busy with online orders which I think added to the wait time. I don't think this place is my jam, but it was super crowded so maybe it's me!

Very good. My coworkers and I come here quite often. Would recommend the coconut mango pomelo. Honestly, 70% is probably the healthier option, but I feel like the ice dilutes the taste rather quickly!

Came here twice to give this place a fair chance, but I left disappointed both times. The service was really slow. Both visits took about 20 minutes for just two drinks. I noticed drinks being made and called out of order. The avocado kale yogurt smoothie with chia seeds and milk pudding on my second visit was full of big ice chunks. It barely tasted like avocado. Honestly reminded me of cream cheese blended with ice. For almost $9, it wasn't worth it. I won't be coming back. There are better boba shops nearby. Hope they improve. read more

We came during grand opening weekend, so a line quickly formed but we ordered and got our drinks pretty quickly. The interior was super cute and panda themed. No ordering kiosk yet, ordering is done by one cashier. We bought the oolong milk tea with cheese foam and the mango pomelo sago, both at 50%. The sweetness level was just right, and we could've even went down to 30% if we're feeling healthy lol. It doesn't seem like boba is an available add-on -- not sure if that's just a grand opening thing. The mango pomelo drink had real fruit bits in it, and it's one of the best I've had! The oolong milk tea, however, was nothing special. I would go back for the mango drink...and the pandas. Branding works! read more

SO DELICIOUSSSS I absolutely LOVED their drinks. I ordered the mango pomelo, mango coconut, and peach plum drink. The mango drinks had a natural mango taste that was perfectly balanced with the coconut milk. I especially enjoyed the mango pomelo one as it was sweet and had hints of a bitter and tart flavor from the pomelo. as for the peach plum drink it felt like i was trying 10 different fruits all at once. i really enjoyed it but it was just a tad too sweet for me. by paying an additional $2 they give you a panda world cup themed pin which was so cute. the store was packed when i came but the workers made my order very quickly. i for sure will be visiting this place often. if youre in the area you MUSST stop by. read more

Stopped by after having lunch nearby. I don't know exactly how many different boba shops have opened up in this location. I think I can count at least four in the last few years. TeaByDo is the current name as of June 2026. When we first entered, we immediately smelled an offputting odor. There was an overwhelming scent of cleanings agents and chemical, which didn't go well with an eating establishment. That's great that the place was bright and clean and sparkling new, however it just didn't go well with fruit flavors and tea. We placed our order on the kiosk tablets, which two were available. We waited outside and I received a text when our orders were available. I got the mango pomelo sago at 50%. The recommended was 70% and I think I'll go with that next time as it could've been a little sweeter to my liking. It was filled with plenty of sago and fruit, which I enjoyed. I'll stop by again when we're in this center. read more

Over 30 minutes for 2 drinks. I asked the employee if the drinks on the counter were mine since they were already serving numbers way ahead of me, they didn't ask for a number or name, instead rudely told me no and that they don't even know what is going on. They didn't bother to check. Turns out, those drinks sitting on the counter, separated from waiting so long, were mine. Not good, watered down, warm. Wasted my time on this place. If the employee had just checked, I would have been out in maybe 10 minutes, but no, there is a lack of service. Plenty of other drink places in Irvine to try like Omomo, Class 302, or heytea Response to owner: Funny, I'll definitely ask your team to spend another 30 minutes to remake the subpar drinks. Yea, I won't be recommending this place to anyone. read more

First time trying this spot!!! After dinner in the plaza! There is underground parking structure if the plaza is packed just fyi! I ordered their mango sago pomelo it was so yum!! There's two kiosks upon arrival you can self order and only self ordering for this place! Service was QUICK drinks came out so fast. Ambiance is nice and some seating if you wanna sit and chat. read more

new milk tea spot that opened last month! unfortunately they don't have regular boba (when I went?), just taro balls and other toppings. saw boba was available during their grand opening but not when I went. the tea is good quality, many adjustments available (ice, sugar, milk), and prices are slightly above average for irvine area. read more

I finally got to try TeaByDo and it was just alright. Their mango sago was more of a mango juice/smoothie without much else mixed in which I'm sure some people would prefer over other places that add coconut. I also got the Watermelon Coconut drink which I ended up loving. It was strange at first but the drink was not too sweet and very refreshing and the crunch of the small watermelon pieces were somewhat addicting. I would go back to try more drinks if I was already in the plaza but I probably wouldn't go out of my way to visit again. read more

I've wanted to try this boba shop since they opened since they have so many locations overseas but waited until the crowds died down. Came by on Fourth of July and there were a few people resting and a couple customers arriving. There's seating to fit a few small groups and a soccer themed standing area streaming the world cup. Very bright and warm decor, I think keeping the pink from the previous boba shop that was here was a nice choice. And the panda theme is adorable! There are two self order kiosks as well as a register so ordering is quick. My drink was ready by the time I used the restroom, so very good turnaround. Just a heads up, when I was there the sign was covered with tarp so just head left of Yonny's fish. Went with a medium sized oolong milk tea with soybean cheese foam, regular ice, 70% sugar as recommended, and added taro balls as a topping. I was planning to order brown sugar boba but the kiosk only let me choose from three options, the taro balls, jelly, and something else. TV screens were showing seasonal specials instead of regular menu so couldn't confirm topping availability. Online it seems you can order boba pearls so will have to come back for those! Anywho, oolong is by far my favorite milk tea so when I saw it as a top seller my decision was made. I was intrigued by the idea of the soybean foam that comes with it - I've had cheese foam but never with soybean. The drink was genuinely delicious. The soybean cheese foam provided nuttiness, saltiness, and creaminess that went great with the earthy oolong flavor. Tea isn't overpowering but if you're like me and like your tea on the strong side you will be pleased! Was for me the right amount of sweetness at 70%, but you could go a step lower if you don't care for sweets. The taro balls were done perfectly. If you like the ones from Meet Fresh, these are right up there. Altogether came out to be $7.98 so pricey considering the size (an inch taller than a soda can) but for technically two toppings not unheard of in this time. Was bracing myself to be disappointed since chains can be hit or miss but honestly have no complaints! Drink delivered. They did give me panda themed pins as thanks for written feedback (have updated this review at time of reading to be much more thorough, but same positive sentiments echoed) but even without that having occurred would recommend them to any boba fan to try. Great addition to the stiff Irvine competition. read more

We decided to order at the kiosk and it was pretty smooth. Drinks came out within 5min. It wasn't busy, which was surprising given the temperature and the hour (noon). But that parking lot gets packed and there are so many places to go there. The drink was very refreshing. Great flavor. Since wintermelon is so mild, the sweetness of the drink really came through. The boba was still nice and warm, which is what I like in my drinks. The coconut jelly and bo-bo had nice texture to it. There are seats up and down the shops, including covered seating, which was great on such a hot day.

It took around 15 minutes from being the first at the outside of the line to when we can actually order at the counter. When we ordered it took about another 15 minute before we got our drinks. Both drinks that I ordered containing matcha was super delicious. It was the peachy matcha (seasonal) and oreo creme brulee matcha (specials). Both my husband and I couldn't sleep at night . The floral jasmine tea paired well with the nutty, slightly salty pistachio foam, while the coconut water kept everything light and refreshing. It was unique and well balanced. The Coconut Mango Blue reminded me of mango sago. It was creamy, refreshing, and enjoyable, although I couldn't taste much of the tea because the mango and coconut flavors were more dominant. My least favorite was the Guava Green Grape. I could barely taste the grape, and the guava was a little too sour for my preference. It wasn't bad, but I probably wouldn't order it again. Overall, I was really impressed with the quality of the teas and how fresh everything tasted. If you're visiting for the first time, I'd highly recommend the King Jasmine Guava. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu.

I stopped by since I was in the area and needed a pick me up for the drive home. Service was fine. I ordered at the kiosk and said thank you to the staff; that's the most interaction that happened. I ordered the milk tea drink that had 3 toppings in it - coffee jelly, boba noodles, and regular boba. 0% sugar is a must for a drink with that many toppings, and it was the right decision. It was pretty sweet as is, so i can't imagine how it's like with more sweetener. It was a good drink overall with good tea strength and I liked the sensory experience it gave me. I probably wouldn't return to the OC locations since Arcadia just opened, but I'll most likely continue to try their other stuff.
