Lovely spot for a refreshing boba or jelly drink with friends! There are many perks to this location. It's right across Pasadena CC, they have a private lot that seems to always have space, and they have an endless list of boba, jelly drinks, and smoothies to choose from. I loved the coconut jelly drink, I added lychee jelly too! My boyfriend had the mango smoothie with boba and that was delicious too. The sizes are larger than life if you go above the regular and the prices are really fair. It was $3.50 for a large. There's even a little display of all the different jellies they carry. If you have an iphone or ipad, laptop whatever and you want to get some work done just log onto their wifi which is printed on the receipt. There's plenty of seating everywhere. Came here one day out of curiosity. The place looked kinda dirty overall and had a weird stench to it. I just brushed it off and tried to decide on what type of drink I wanted. Only giving this place 3 but I wish I can give it 3 1/2. I get that it's hard to take orders due to COVID but today, it wasn't the best. Don't get me wrong, the drinks are great I love the workers except one. Theres a girl short black hair with fringe bangs. It took her a long time to understand my pay method. I called to do a pickup order and some reason it took her a long time to ring it up. I called 2x to make two SEPERATE orders and she combined it into one. It was 2 seperate orders because 1 order was through card one with cash. I had to explain SO MANY TIMES which order is the correct one. Finding parking can be a bit frustrating, so I tend to park in the Carl's Jr. parking lot or the Jack In The Box parking lot; however, park in those lots at your own risk. You run the possibility of getting your car towed. The staff was very attentive and accommodated me as best they could. I dinned in but before I left I placed an order to go. The staff was very concerned with my to-go meal, they didn't want my food to get cold. So they approached me five minutes before I left (without me asking) to get the order started. One of the major reasons I gave this restaurant 5 stars is because it saves me gas and time. Decided to come here because it was conveniently located near a restaurant we were eating at. Ordered a regular mango green tea with mango jelly, light ice and 1/4 sweetness and was disappointed with the lack of mango flavor. I don't like my teas sweet because I actually like the flavor of tea, but this was lacking flavor overall. Also ordered a super guava oolong tea with light ice and 1/2 sweetness and when my husband drank it, it tasted like tap water. It has such an odd flavor, almost like chlorine that it's honestly undrinkable. It could have been masked by sweetness, but because he too likes the flavor of tea, he ordered it with half sweetness. Relatively good wifi, inexpensive food and a variety of drinks, and well ventilated AC for those summer months. I came here to study and there are plenty of wall outlets to plug your laptop. I especially favor the booth/bench seating with the outlets directly below you, on the wall of the bench/booth. This place has ample seating throughout the space, although it could be pretty cramped and shoulder-to-shoulder if it's full. Parking in this parking lot suuuucks, because it shares the lot with about 5 other businesses. Usually the parking turnaround is pretty quick, since most of the restaurants could be taken to go (Yoshinoya, El Pollo Loco, a mongolian BBQ place, etc). If you can't find parking in the lot, I would suggest the adjacent streets that are perpendicular to Colorado. I got the Taiwanese sausage rice, which are able to be upgraded with a simple green, black, or oolong tea for an additional dollar or so (depending on the size). Simple, delicious Taiwanese sausage with a bed of rice, topped with Taiwanese minced pork and tea-boiled egg, and a side of steamed veggies. Yummy! Usually tea houses that serve food have this nasty, lingering fry oil smell throughout the seating area, which is really distasteful. I don't want to be coming home smelling like fry oil! But, Tea Spots is well ventilated and the seating area does not smell like fry oil, which is great! There's a self-serve bar for all the condiments, utensils, and a self-serve water dispenser. Tea Spots is a nice little place that will become your best friend if you go to PCC. They offer a variety of drinks/food. I wasn't a big fan of their caramel milk tea boba and the parking is typically horrible. The parking lot is extremely small and shared with other businesses so it is difficult to find a parking spot during different times of the day- when I have struggled for parking here I usually just park next door at Jack because their parking lot typically has spots.
