This location is noticeably cleaner with more spacious seating, plus they have a great selection of board games available. Both locations share the same welcoming vibe, which I appreciate. We ordered the taro coconut and lychee coconut twist. The taro coconut was delicious, though I wish there had been more passion fruit in the lychee one - the flavor was still good overall. The service was super fast and friendly, just like at Cedar Park.

When this shop first opened, I stopped in and asked for recommendations since they do have a pretty…read moreextensive menu. The employee seemed a little stuck, so I redirected the question to the owner who suggested two drinks -- they were fine, but nothing that really stood out. Out of curiosity, I asked about their brewing processes, boba flavoring and what makes them unique. The response included some less-than-kind comparisons to others in town, which felt a bit awkward. Since then, I've noticed similar remarks in reviews/social media posts and throughout the community stemming from the business. Recently, my friends and I decided to do a blind taste test between this shop and two others in town for fun. It was really interesting to see how different their drinks turned out to be. Despite No1 Boba's earlier critiques about their competitors being "too sweet" and "unpalatable," this shop's drinks were ironically by far the sweetest of the bunch -- even for someone like me who usually enjoys sweeter drinks. In short: the drinks and boba are fine, but not exceptional, especially considering the strong critiques of others. To publicly insult a competing business is pretty inappropriate, but at the very least - back it up. Every shop in town has its own style and something to offer to a different crowd -- each of them can be successful for that reason without having to tear each other down. I hope that when the other two shops open up soon, they don't receive the same disparagement..

I'm not sure what this fee is for, and I didn't notice it until I looked at the receipt when I am writing the Yelp review. I'm not a fan of unexpected extra fees like this, feels a little sneaky. I'd prefer if the fee were clearly disclosed upfront.

Overall would be back to try some new flavors if I'm in the area.

The drinks are better and service was fast. You self order on the kiosk and pay. Then staff will call out your name and you pick up your drink and go. It's a small shop but it's perfect to grab and go. There are limited seats and tables there. We ordered: Coco Kumquat with honey boba 4/5: it's exactly what it is for the name of the drink. Very kumquat forward and it was refreshing. I added & grass jelly to it. honeydew smoothie with honey bob 5/5 I usually don't like smoothies or milky drinks but this honeydew flavor was so good and it wasn't milky. Perfect balance! The honeydew was distant and not super artificial flavored. Do I recommend this place? Yes! Our go to for boba place in MT Market shopping center. They offer a variety of drinks and snacks so it took us awhile to decide on our drinks. Cloudy Taro Bliss + Lychee Jelly ($8.04): I ordered this at 75% sweet. It's perfect if you sip continuously, but the sweetness becomes more noticeable when you pause. Besides that, the drink is very smooth and has a prominent taro flavor. Popcorn Chicken ($8.99): Decent, but not the best I've had, though my friends enjoyed it more than I did. However, everyone else likes it. The portion felt a bit small for the price too. It came with a side of pickled veggies which was different. Vietnamese Stir Fry Corn ($8.49): The flavors were on point. They seem to use Vietnamese butter which makes it taste more authentic, and the Chin-su sauce really elevates it. Durian Sugarcane ($8.94): My husband thought this tasted canned rather than made with fresh sugarcane. Roasted Rice Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend's husband ordered this at 100% sweetness, which was too much for me, but the flavor combination wasn't bad. Strawberry Milk Tea With Pandan Foam: My friend got this at 50% sweetness, and it was a bit sweeter than my Cloudy Taro Bliss. The drink tastes exactly like strawberry milk, so if you like that, this is for you. I enjoyed the taste, but it's not my go-to milk tea choice. Sesame Coffee: The Vietnamese coffee had a strong, bold flavor, though the sesame notes in the foam were quite subtle. Rice Paper Salad: Ordered to-go which is not recommended. Unfortunately the rice paper was hard and clumped together, even after pouring the sauce on top, which really affected the overall quality.

For their Shaved Ice, you can choose 4 toppings at the right counter. Entertaining to watch them make it in front of you. It starts with a base of shaved ice, 4 toppings, drizzled condensed milk and brown sugar syrup, another layer of shaved ice, and even more condensed milk and brown sugar syrup on top. It's like a mountain of chilled dessert! Generous portions, great value for $6.50. We did a mix of traditional and modern toppings: small red bean, mung bean, rainbow jelly, and grass jelly. They are all good, you can't go wrong with any of them. The toppings themselves are not too sweet, so the ice and sugar syrups balance out. Very refreshing on a hot summer day! Their food, snacks, and drinks are really good too. The fridge showcase has bottled/canned drinks and various snacks - macarons, mochi, cakes, swiss rolls. Service has always been quick when I've gone. The drinks themselves are good. I usually get the taro blended drink, and it's consistently well made. This time I tried an Ube drink on special and it was pretty good too. So no complaints on the actual bubble tea front. The interior is where it loses a little charm. It's not exactly a cozy place to hang out. The lighting is bright and a bit harsh, and the overall vibe is more cold and industrial than cute or inviting. Totally fine for grabbing a drink, just not somewhere I'd linger. Feng Cha does bubble tea well, but it doesn't really stand out from other spots.
