It was such a cute place! I was so bummed. The guys behind the counter were nice, but the man with the darker complexion was an absolute sweetheart. I arrived around 2:30 and noticed that some of the croissant pastries were already sold out. I decided to opt for the seasonal croissant and I was surely not disappointed. The cross section looks great and the jam/filling on the inside does have texture so it's not smooth purée which was a nice change of pace. I didn't get to try any of their drinks but judging from what I saw at the other tables, I really need to try it next time. There is a self area on the left side of the store where there are utensils and the handles of the knives were HOT when I went to get one so you can definitely rest assured that these are cleaned frequently (but do be careful). There is complementary lemon infused water and the disposal area near the restrooms. Noise level wise-- it is not a super big cafe and tables are seated close to each other and it can get loud when the coffee machine does its thing but overall I would say it's a pretty good location to have a little with a friend.
