One of the many Coffee Breaks in the area, but only location in Milton! There is also another location on Truman Pkwy that is on the Milton/HP line & is not too far of a drive away + a few locations in Quincy. Their iced coffees are definitely on the watery side regardless of which location you go to. I have not tried their hot coffees yet. Drinks that I do enjoy from Coffee Break include: frozen frappes, smoothies, & frozen lemonades though. Normally, I pop in here for their BAGELS! Yes, I said bagels. My favorite is their jalapeño bagel with onion + chive cream cheese. OMG! Parking: Central Ave has a bunch of businesses & there's a good amount of street parking. Can be difficult to get a parking spot right outside of Coffee Break in the morning though. read more

As other reviews have said, this is the equivalent of gas station coffee! If you are into flavors, this might be a good place for you if you can get past the terribly brewed coffee flavor. I had an iced caramel latte. My friend didn't want to risk the coffee so she got a hot chocolate. They have 15 or so different brews on the back wall (3 that were just for fall!). I did get a piece of pumpkin coffee cake which was so good it bumped this from a 2 to a 3 star review. It is a cute place in Milton, so I wouldn't right it off completely! They do have the latest hours for a coffee shop (5pm on Saturday's) so if you need a fix like I did, this could be a cute afternoon stop for you. read more

It smells strongly of hazelnut as soon as you walk in (your choice as to whether that is pleasant or sensory overload). My iced coffee was excellent, perfect amount of cream, not bitter. Would prefer the music a tad quieter. read more

My boyfriend and I were in the area from central MA and needed a place for him to do work and me to hangout. This was a good find. Wide selection of drinks and snacks. I got a funky monkey latte which was delicious and he got an iced coffee which was also good. We got an Oven Arts cookie which was yummy (triple chocolate). Nice atmosphere. A bit loud with the music and employees chatting but not a problem if you have headphones while you work. I would return if I'm in the area. read more

This was my first time going to coffee break in Milton. I was very excited to have some good quality coffee is I was tired this morning. I went in and was not greeted and the girl helping (a young brunette) was not friendly or helpful. I asked for my order and she stared at me for a second and rudely asked "and what else how do you take your coffee." I am all about enjoying my coffee experience and unfortunately this fell way below my expectations. It didn't help that the coffee didn't taste great. New post- November 2018. Reluctantly I came back to meet a friend and the service was completely different. The two people working made suggestions to types of coffee and were so sweet and helpful. I don't often treat myself Chillicothe for went out for a walk with my daughter but we stop by and grab one hear nothing. Went into a long line with teenagers spread out on the couches with no coffee the help was talking with the many high school students that were there. The coffee was a weak and almost like ice tea . This place is the equivalent of convenience store or gas station coffee. Gimmicky types of flavors and not really good for anyone who actually likes coffee. I asked for their darkest roast and was given something that clearly was not a dark roast. If you're going to own a coffee shop you should have the essentials for someone who may walk in and is not looking for a coffee that tastes like a kid's cereal. The coffee here is really good, and the service has been helpful for the times I have been there. There are a wide variety of coffee flavors and overall types. My favorite drink is the Frozen Oreo. The price is reasonable, and the only problem I have is that there is no call ahead process( but hey it's 3 minutes), and no fresh breakfast sandwiches. Love the vibe of this coffee shop and its sweet and positive message on cups. The coffee beans are great quality. Menu options wise, I wish everything wasn't so sugary sweet and dessert-ish! Coffee is my morning fix and can be a healthy choice but not with ice cream flavored syrups. Americans have a huge problem with indulging on sweets (heart problems, diabetes and an obesity epidemic). It would be great to set an example by highlighting healthy choices on your menu and adjusting the portion sizes of the drinks to be more like Pret-a-Manger's drink sizes (not 711's sizes). Was going towards to Boston. I searched up yelp and look for the nearest coffeeshop around my location. This was one of the nearest coffee shops so I decided to go there. Parking was full near the entrance but further up you cannot park there because it is a loading zone. Up further there is parking available so I decided to park there and walk a little bit so the coffee shop. The door was open. It was cold outside which made the inside cold. There were female baristas ,blondes, that were working the front counter. They were nice, friendly and Informative. I've decided to order the house blend. I do have to say "Wow, the coffee is definitely strong !". The only downside is they have premade breakfast sandwiches so basically it's the same thing as getting a premade sandwich from Cumberland Farms. I do not prefer sandwiches that have to be reheated. I do not like frozen premade breakfast sandwiches. This is not my preferred way of cooking food or even trying to serve it to anybody else. If this changes, I could probably move it to four stars. Hopefully their consistent with their customer service Or else I would have to leave it at three stars or lower. I will go back. read more

They ran out of cinnamon raisin bagels AND plain bagels. Their gluten free toaster broke for gluten free bagels. The employees were fooling around the entire time. The coffee here is subpar. They also gave me one out of the two bagels I ordered. Wouldn't recommend coming back here. read more

The staff are really friendly! However I know you're not suppose to have your hair down at all times...this one girl with light curly hair had it half down half up. She was making me a bagel and I felt disgusted because she pulled back her hair before she touched my bagel. Either put up your hair in a pony tail or don't touch bagels!! read more

I stopped into this shop to get coffee and saw other people that I happened to know before going in. We all got in line and no one else was in line. There were 3 people working behind the counter and one of them took the order of one of the people that I happened to know. The other 3 of us were waiting to have our orders taken. Two other people walked into the coffee shop and then got in line. Another young lady from behind the counter began to take the order of the next one of us in line, but then was told by the third young lady not to because we were all together. We told her that we were not. We were all paying separately. She then said "well, we have other customers and then proceeded to take their order! What?????! Then after taking the other orders and those people leaving, still did not come to take out orders!!! I have a feeling of what it could have been, but have no real proof! The other lady felt the exact same way. I then began to take it personally as well as the other lady that I knew and then decided to let them know how we felt about that type of treatment and then refused to buy anything!! The owner of this business needs to teach these ladies some customer service! I have visited many coffee shops daily for 40+ years and have never experienced something like this.
