Cool ocean vibes inside, storefront selling surf stuff, beach wear, and lots of seating on main level, downstairs and outside. Everything was delicious, fresh ingredients, can't wait to go back again. The iced tea and maple coffee was excellent, both not too sweet. The avocado toast was amazing, fresh tomatoes etc, on big slices of sourdough. Sandwich of turkey sausage was so flavorful, lots going on all the flavors so good together. Reasonably priced too for the quality and quantity. The churro donut was ok/good, hoped to try something more decadent but they ran out of donuts at that point, only 2 left. Will have to go back earlier.

My absolute favorite is the Cinnabon, it comes with a cream cheese frosting dollop that is so good! Most recently I got to try the cinnamon coffee roll which is light and airy and has that same frosting which brings it all together. Flavorful and delicious! My friend and I usually get the southwestern sandwich but we add a soft boiled egg to it which brings the whole thing together for a yummy breakfast. I have also had the sausage egg and cheese on their homemade biscuits. Pro tip- ask for the biscuit to be heated it takes your breakfast sandwich go to the next level of goodness! The only reason I knocked a star is because their baked goods sell out so fast that I usually don't get to try any of the specials. I wish they made more to have them last the entire time they're open. I'm also not a coffee drinker and most of the drinks are coffee based so I do wish they had more non coffee drink options that isn't hot tea. Usually this place is packed with people at every table and lines to the door, the food is worth the wait though! Plus they have Louis Tomlinson playing over their radio here and there which earns them a gold star in my book!

By the time we got in for a late morning snack, most of the OMG Bagels were sold out, but fortunately, there was a big ol' cinnamon roll for the wife. These, plus muffins and croissants are baked in house. Of note are the rigorous standards they put in to their coffee offerings. Cofferrings? I was made to portmanteau, bro (portmanbreau?). Fresh ground drip and espresso drinks, sure, along with NOBL nitro and cold brew on tap ($4.50/4.00 for large, respectively). Kombucha, even! The main rigor is the scrutiny they keep on their providers - if you're a coffee geek, I think you'll find the science here appealing. Attachment to Starland isn't just cosmetic - they're always running specials like a coffee, bagel and a round of mini golf for $7 on weekday mornings. Which is pretty much all I need in my life. VERY VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BREAKFAST. I was so hungry one Friday morning and I saw it out the corner of my eye on the way to the market. I had to circle around quite a few times before a parking spot opened up. I walked into the store on the lower level and the line was long and winding. I was craving just a bagel and was hoping it would be worth the wait. Well, the line went quickly and when I walked up to the register, I was BLOWN AWAY by the donuts and croissants and other pastries that I saw cooling on the bakers racks! The girl behind the register informed before my order that it would be at least a 15 minute wait. So, I ordered just the plain bagel I was craving with their "special" veggie cream cheese. It was ready and brought to me within 5 mins. LET ME TELL YOU! THIS BAGEL was the BEST BAGEL I've ever had!! I even have to admit that these were even slightly better than my own homemade sourdough bagels! It was so SO fresh and that "special" veggie cream cheese was next level! It was just a bagel with a little bit of wait, but slacktide has made an incredible impression on me. I can't wait to try some of their other breakfast offerings... sometime when the parking lot isn't so full (I've been watching and no such luck yet ). THIS PLACE IS WORTH THE HYPE! 5 STARS, ALL FACTORS WEIGHED!
