Excellent coffee! I appreciate how knowledgeable they are and attentive to the process. The views are also great if you sit on the outdoor patio. I was disappointed by the breakfast sandwich that I got, which had an egg patty instead of an egg, but most people I think go here for the coffee so I have to forgive them for not having the best breakfast sandwiches. But even when I take the egg patty off, the everything bagel with a small amount of cheese and butter was good. read more

Lovely waterfront setting for delicious lattes. The espresso is smooth here. I enjoyed the Vanilla Cardamom Latte off the seasonal menu. Decent pastry selection from a local bakery. Excellent spot for a well-made coffee. The roast is done locally, so the coffee is fresh. Importantly, the servers care about your experience and will take the time to explain the differences between a cortado and a latte. Yes, you can Google it, but they can demonstrate. I make a point to avoid peak customer (visit) times (see negative reviews here) and to know what I plan to order in advance. I also purchase their beans (and make their coffee at home.) Delicious roasts. I drink black coffee (+ espresso) so my coffee orders are straightforward. I've stood in line too (and never heard a complaint uttered in either direction.) Customers seem to be regulars here (based on the conversations I overhear in line.) I see personal dogs (here), too. I'm OK with that (and with outdoor seating adjacent to the ocean, I expect dogs to be present.) Parking is limited (but much more parking is available less than a 1 minute walk away.) I've never been disappointed here. I live 30-minutes away and go out of my way to frequent this shop (especially for their roasts.) read more

Great location! The counter girl was friendly and gave us some suggestions which we're happy we tried. Had a macadamia nut cappuccino and a mocha.... both were not only beautiful but delicious. This was our second visit here and I'm not sure we'd be back. The first time we came the line was out the door, it takes a good long while to get any hot food.. Same experience both times. Either the setup can't handle the capacity or there needs to be more staff helping push orders through. The first time we came they ran out of bagels. This time we were able to get an Asiago bagel, accompanied by two lattes, one caramel and one mocha. The lattes were okay, but nothing to really write home about. Then after the long wait for our sandwich we couldn't help but chuckle at the comically sized egg and two wimpy stripes of soggy bacon on the large bagel. Flavor wise, it's not bad, per say. The bagel was quite good. But the proportion is just way way off and certainly not worth the wait when you can get a better breakfast sandwich elsewhere for cheaper. They also allow dogs (not just service dogs) inside which unfortunately creates a food safety issue since it is area where food preparation takes place. Please keep all pets outside. Invest in a more efficient espresso machine, or perhaps a griddle, and another staff member. It's not their fault they're only working with what they have resulting in slow service. I hope the business owner can accept constructive criticism and refrain from leaving a petty response like in previous reviews. This place has potential, just right now, it's not it. read more

While I live down the street from this coffee spot, I would drive far to get that cup of coffee anywhere! It is my daily go to spot in Boston frankly. The service is very consistent and the cup of coffee is always made fresh and delicious. In my opinion, this is some of the best coffee in the Boston area. The staff is kind and even my dog loves to visit! She gets very upset when I leave her occasionally in the car. Coffee lover too! The location is right on the water along Route 3A and makes for a great spot to stop and relax for a bit. One thing to remember a good cup of coffee takes time. So don't be in a rush or in drive through pace. It will be worth it! read more

Very good cappuccino! This cafe is located near the park World's end. We stopped here for coffee before hiking there. Interior is kind of a hipster coffee shop. I had cappuccino and cranberry thingy. I generally don't like writing negative reviews, however, I'm disappointed by my experience at Redeye Coffee Roasters. I'd like to preface by saying it was a beautiful day after a long stretch of rain so the staff may have been tired after a busy day, but I never actually got to try their coffee. Instead, I stood in line for over 10 minutes and was never acknowledged, even when I was the only person in line. The baristas seemed busy making to go orders, so it's quite possible they didn't see me and I'm giving them the benefit of the doubt here. After several minutes of the baristas talking amongst each other, even after trying to say something, I decided to leave and try a different coffee shop. I'm leaving two stars because the location did have beautiful views, was decorated very well, very clean, smelled excellent, and I think I really would have liked it here. We drive for coffee and heard Redeye was good! 1 hour 5 minutes and arrived at a cute marina side location. Service is Covid mindful; inside order, pick up outside. Awesome coffee, hands down. A few annoyances. No bathroom for the public. Instead, we were sent down the street to a grocery store. Also their baked goods are baked in house but they're frozen, in other words not homemade. I'd rather they didn't have any treat rather than something mediocre. The pistachio muffin was glow green, a telltale sign of food coloring/commercial mix. Great coffee should be paired with awesome scones or muffins. Why not partner with an amazing bakery and offer quality? Also plastic straws,boooooo!! Go for the coffee, it's legit. read more

I'm not the biggest coffee drinker in the world, but I do like at least one delicious cup in the morning to start my day. With the addition of Redeye Roasters to the Hingham coffee scene, we've scored pretty darn big. Redeye Roasters is in the same place the ship's chandlery used to be right on 3A. They've turned it into a really cozy spot where you can linger over your coffee of choice. We're a bit short here in Hingham for places with really delicious coffee AND a place with a cool vibe in which to linger. This is the kind of place you would want to hang out in for awhile. As usual though, I'm in a total rush in the morning so for me what really works is that during the weekdays they open at 6:00AM. I get my coffee and I'm good to go. What I hope to do one of these days is to sit and hang out in there and maybe try one of the baked goods they have to offer. Whatever coffee I've tried so far I can honestly tell you I've really enjoyed. The taste is smooth, never over-roasted nor scorched tasting as can be the problem elsewhere. And you can get soy milk in any of their offerings; the soy latte is incredibly delish. That there's no obnoxious barista attitude here is another plus. According to the owner these beans are locally roasted through a method they call artisan micro-roasting. And the beans are reportedly handpicked from growers they've gotten to know and care about and fair trade is good trade. My only complaint is that the coffee sometimes isn't as super hot as I like it so I'll have to remember next time to ask that they crank it up for me. Welcome to the neighborhood, Redeye. Completely overrated. Coffee and treats are nothing special, especially for the price, and terrible customer service.

The location is about the only thing going for this place hence not giving it one star. The large latte is tiny and overpriced. When asking the barista (who happen to still be in defcon 5 covid precautions) if they had put three shots of espresso in the latte he gave me an attidude filled "yesss" and handed me what looked to be a glass of milk with caramel drizzle in it. Never will return. Hopefully a new good coffee spot opens in the area because it wouldnt be hard to compete with these guys. read more

Rude called out for only ordering food not their coffee. Purposeful order wrong. When I went back in to correct it I was heckled and jeered at " so mane you want me to throw out this food huh" meant to create drama. the lack of professionalism on a serious work day and half hour wait was appallingly rude and quite bizarre . I want to love this place! It had so much potential. And it's so great in the warmer months to look out at the ocean. After a few years of stopping by occasionally, I finally had a server who was warm and friendly. She was great! The others have me feel like they are doing me favor by just addressing me. Yuck. There seems to be lack of training in customer service practices. Would be great if they could put felt pads on the bottom of the metal chairs. Anytime someone gets up , it's makes this terrible scrapping noise. Once, an employee was pushing in all of the chairs and there was a screeching a noise fir 3-4 minutes. There was no awareness that I was sitting right there wanted to just enjoy my coffee. read more

Phenomenal coffe shop. Hipster type but very very inviting. We did a project going out of Hull and this was our coffee spot every morning for about 6 months straight. Everyone there is crazy cool. super nice and then to top it all off .....there coffee is legit. Comfortable and relaxed inside... come in sit on couch or at table and enjoy the process of your coffee being made and enjoy. A must stop if you truley like good coffee.
