While having a very needed day off, we decided it was BEACH DAY!…read more Ofc we always run late chasing the sun, but decided to just get food whilst at the beach. We got a couple raspberry lime Ricky's which btw was 10x better than tasty burger, on par with Tony's Clam box. The scallop and clam strip plates were about 30 a pop and as expected it was baby scallops kind of wish they used actual larger scallops for the price but not surprised for a beach side shack. All of which were fried well and came with fries tarter and whatever sauces you wanted. We also got a dog, and corn dog both of which were like the standard dogs you get from the market. I think most the foods premade and fried up but they was fried well. Fries were crispy. Either way it did the trick and we spent about 5 hours out there. The ice creams and Italian ice are always a hit on the hot days too

Lucky Lemons serves a large variety of flavors of Richardson's premium ice cream and they rarely run out of any flavors. Additionally, Rodger is the man!!! Even if we show up a few minutes after the official 9pm close time he always flips the 'closed' sign around to 'open' and serves us with a smile! Nothing better than an ice cream on the boardwalk while listening to the sound of the waves!

If I could give them less than 1 star I would. I would actually give them negative 5 starts. We…read moreordered 6 soft served ice cream cones with jimmies.....$20 (2 kiddie and 4 smalls), fine, not cheap, but on the beach. The staff person took our order, then proceeded to make the ice creams. She didn't wash her hands after taking our money and there were no gloves in sight. I looked into the window as she was making cone #4 and she was using her hand to scoop jimmies onto the ice cream. The ice cream was soft and she tipped it a little too far and it started to tip and she grabbed it with 1 hand, attempting to 'push' or 'mush' it back in place. When that didn't work, she walked across the food area to the tall garbage can, used her hand to push the ice cream above the cone off, then proceeded to wipe the excess ice cream off the rest of the cone by scraping it onto the garbage bag and walked back to the machine and began to fill THAT cone up. At this point, I had to stick my head into the window and specifically request a new cone and not the one that she rubbed onto the trash. I asked nicely- and she seemed surprised by my request, like, what's wrong with this one? Where is the board of health???? There is NO excuse to serve someone food scraped on a garbage can to save the 5 cents on the new cone. I am repulsed, please warn others! (Also the ice cream wasn't good at all, it wasn't made correctly and was too soft/icy.) This place should be shut down, it's a shame!

The space is big, so they were able to seat us right away with a good view too. Service overall was friendly. We ordered a lobster roll and some seafood. The portion sizes, especially the sides, were very generous. The fries were better than I expected (nice and crispy, not dry). The seafood tasted fresh. My favorite was the salt-pepper shrimp appetizer. I might not get the lobster roll again, because the meat was quite tough. Other than that, it was an excellent last stop of our trip :)

Knowing me I had to call to make sure that the seafood was wild caught and it was not farm raised. The hostess told me everything was fresh minus the salmon that was only farm raised. The wait was not that bad at all - they said a hour in a half but it was definitely shorter then that since a lot of other individuals have left because of the long wait. We probably only waited for about 20 - 30 min. Everything was delicious here from the raw seafood , calmaria and for my dinner entree I got the Schrood which was the wild caught cod , with mashed potatoes and coleslaw it was very very delicious. We also saw a celebrity at the restaurant as well which was very cool. Everyone was very nice there including the staff. I highly recommend going there.
