Great location near the beach for baked goods. On a Saturday about an hour before closing, they ran out of sandwich bread. Upon entering we were greeted with a smile. A cute dining area with a couch is very welcoming. Bus your own table.

This has the potential to be a fun little stop for great sourdough and more. The bakery gods have channeled Victoria Donnelly to answer the call for more bakeries in the South shore. You would be forgiven if you mistook this cute spot for a live reenactment of something out of a Strawberry Shortcake cartoon -- bright colors, scrabble board-type menu and communal seating complement the vibe on Scituate's beachy Main Street. So far, the sourdough is the star here. The fermented, chewy texture hits just right. The tartines are colorful, but, apart from the bread, I found the flavors to be a bit boring. However, I took home a loaf for more and found the sliced sourdough to be a great complement to a fruity jam. Service was prompt and friendly -- the many associates did their best to move the line but that inevitably led to a slight bottleneck at the checkout. Certainly something that can be addressed over time. The ambition of the place is inspiring. I'm hoping it holds up against the more established bread makers in the area. Ms. Donnelly with her Food Network and other chops certainly has the pedigree. She has also lined up a list of collaborations -- New Hampshire coffee and organic soup maker to start. While her offerings seem a bit pricy for the area, hopefully her experience and partnerships will allow her to scale quickly and find her rhythm. Knead has great promise -- look forward to returning.

Amazing bakery! Offers a large array of sourdough sandwich choices, from sweet to savory. Their homemade sourdough bread is out of this world!! You can't go wrong with any of their choices -- muffins, cinnamon rolls, twists, scones, croissants, cupcakes/brownies. They also have a large drink menu with both coffee and tea choices. Seating is abundant, and there is plenty of parking around Scituate. Their location is perfectly located by the water.

We went on opening day - Great addition to downtown Scituate! Flakey, buttery croissants. Piping hot, strong coffee. Cozy atmosphere. Friendly owner and staff. Can't wait to come back and try more things off the menu!!

A Half sandwich opened to see skimpy fixings

No parking, prices are super high , felt rushed in giving my order. Wasn't happy after waiting 30 minutes and to find they gave my sandwich to someone else. NO APOLOGY. Treated me like it was my fault. Waited another 15/20 minutes for my sandwich to find out their sandwiches are only a half sandwich . Decor is pretty and pastry's looked amazing. Unfortunately will not be back to find out.

Best bakery in Scituate. Great addition to front street. Scones and muffins are very good along with the coffee.

Not bad, but not great. Coffee wasn't great for the price. Pastry's were decent. Long wait. Stick to lucky fin.

They don't know how to make specialty drinks. My Chai tea latte tasted like warm dishwasher. Expensive too! Ripoff.

The menu includes a simple array of coffee (hot and cold), an array of bagels with a variety of cream cheese options (I'm told the bacon scallion is excellent), and some breakfast sandwich options. I decided to go breakfast burrito as that's usually my go to breakfast item when it's available, and an iced coffee. The iced coffee tasted great, but the burrito, which I immediately regrettably noticed after I ordered is made with microwaved eggs, was only ok, not the best. I'll definitely be back to get an iced coffee next time in the area, but will skip the breakfast sandwiches and go for the bagels. For anyone desiring a cooked breakfast/ breakfast sandwiches, I recommend going across the street to Doorknock, but for bagels and coffee this place is pretty solid. *Cash only*

Its a easy fix, yes with an investment, small I think based on how it would improve things.

Love the flowers and the expanded food options. Have tried to rent the office space a few times. Perhaps they worked out the kinks but so far the staff hasn't figured out how to book them when I'm there. So basically gave up on that. Inside is sort of a mess. Always a ton of people there. Hard to figure where to stand when you're waiting. Seating always jammed. Sometimes the food and drinks are delivered separately so you have to listen for someone to whisper your name. Today the staff didn't greet my daughter and I. Blank staring at us to order. Got four bakery items. Was prepared to then order coffee but was told our total. No offer of drinks... at a coffee shop. Just blank stares and no engagement. So, no coffee I guess. Was easy to hit the no tip button. Ahhh the eye roll. So no greeting, bad body language and unrealistic expectations for additional compensation. Then we waited. Two groups behind us served first. I gave the new location a shot. Five times and I'm set for a long while. Too bad, I do like the burrata balsamic toast. It's plenty busy, plenty popular, and easy to drive past.
