I loved the crunch added from the pistachios Dubai chocolate oat latte - 8.5/10 - $7.50 - This was really good, also loved the added pistachios in this but it didnt taste as chocolatey as i expected Tried one of the few coffee shops in the Houston area serving halal options and I wish they had a location near me They have halal pastry options and a lot of unique flavors and signature lattes. Theres also a drive-thru! Definitely recommend trying out!

I hate to leave this review because I've always had great experiences with Barbarossa Coffee,…read moreespecially at their Tomball location. That's exactly why this visit to the Spring location was so disappointing. When I first arrived, there was nobody at the register, which already set the tone for the visit. What should have been a quick stop then turned into over an hour. I ordered a smoothie and breakfast tacos, and even the smoothie took a while to come out. I finished the entire drink before my food even arrived. After about 30 minutes, I checked in with the staff and was told it was due to "miscommunication" and that someone was new, while the person who took my order was in the back on the phone. I had to repeat my order multiple times, specifically asking for no hot sauce and no salad. Despite that, after another 15 minutes, the tacos finally came out incorrect, with both hot sauce and a salad, and they were lukewarm, not hot. To make matters worse, the smoothie itself wasn't properly blended. What stood out most is that they weren't particularly busy, just a light morning crowd. I've been to the Tomball location when it was much busier, and the service there was still fast and attentive, which set a high expectation. Overall, the experience didn't match the premium pricing. I truly hope this location improves, but based on this visit, I wouldn't return to this one.

Okay sooo... today was actually the first time I wasn't quite as pleased with my order as I usually…read moream. For context, I am a *creature of habit*. Ever since about my second visit, I've been ordering the exact same drink: a medium Cookie Butter Blondie with caramel and sweet cream foam. It's my drink. In fact, at most locations, as soon as I say "Cookie Butter," they're already finishing the rest of my order for me. I absolutely love that level of familiarity. Today's visit felt a little different though. My drink usually comes out *close-up ready* if you know what I mean. The caramel is giving, the foam is foaming, and everything looks as good as it tastes. This time, that vibe just wasn't there. Service was a bit slower than I'm accustomed to, and when I got my drinks (yes, drinks lol my spouse happened to be heading into work later, so I was bringing a surprise), I was hesitant to ask for a remake. The biggest difference was the caramel and sweet cream foam. I typically ask for extra caramel, and the amount in the cup was noticeably lighter than what I've received on previous visits. The foam was also much thinner than usual. Those two things are honestly what make the drink for me, so the flavor wasn't quite hitting the same way. That being said, one reason I'm not overly upset is because this has *not* been my typical experience. I've ordered this same drink more times than I can count, and it's usually made perfectly. That's exactly why I keep coming back. So I'm chalking this one up as a one-off. Will I be back? Absolutely. For one, I still have money on my gift card. And two, 7 Brew has officially won me over. No shade to Starbucks I spent plenty of years faithfully redeeming stars over there, but somewhere along the way 7Brew became my go-to. Every favorite spot is allowed an off day. I'm betting my next Cookie Butter Blondie will be back to its usual star-player status.

I was recovering from a cold so I decided to order a hot herbal tea and was happy to see that they had such a huge selection of loose leaf teas to choose from. My friend also got one of their lattes and we couldn't resist getting a tiramisu before leaving. Overall, we liked everything and I think this place is worth a visit for that Kafeina latte. - Kafeina Latte (4/5): The lady told us that this latte was half white chocolate and half pistachio and we could definitely tastes both flavors. I really liked how they put a lot of pistachio pieces in the drink, giving it a crunchy texture. This drink is definitely on the sweeter side though, so keep that in mind. - Nutty Almond Cream Cinnamon Herbal Tea (4/5): I was very happy with the flavor of this tea. Like the name suggest, it tasted very almond-y and had a good amount of cinnamon flavored. There was also a tangy fruity flavor that followed and reminded me of spiced cider. - Tiramisu (4.5/5): I was really impressed with their tiramisu. The mascarpone layer was very nice and custardy, yet felt so light and refreshing. I also loved how strong the coffee flavor was which helped balance out the dessert and made it not too sweet. Service/Ambiance: Upon entering, I was really surprised by how pretty the interior was with the mixture of gold and wood. I'm not sure how pack this place usually gets because I came at an off time ( like 1 pm), but they had a good amount of tables and seating available. I did see a handful of people studying, so I think this would be a good quiet study spot.

Inside it's a little dim for an intimate type setting but you still have a dedicated light at your table to adequately see your food and enjoy your meal. The hardest decision of course is whether to do hot pot, bbq, or both. This time we chose hot pot . I got the Szechuan spicy, which had a nice kick to it, but not a stand-out, super flavorful broth in my opinion. My husband got the mushroom broth, and upon trying I thought it was a really solid choice with good flavor to it. If I went back, I'd get the mushroom one for the flavor profile and then just add in my desired spice. They have a solid selection of meats, seafood, and vegetables on the lunch menu. My favorite is lamb and it did not disappoint. Best feature at this place is their massive sauce bar -probably the biggest I've ever seen. Where they probably lack compared to others is they don't have as many options for the other self-serve items. Service was decent, we had a couple of instances of getting served food we didn't order and our waitress was so soft-spoken it was hard to hear her, but otherwise drinks stayed filled and could easily get her attention when we needed to order more. I ended my meal with a trip to the dessert station and tried their mango jello- yum. I don't think I've had mango jello before so this was a nice surprise and great palate cleanser for the end of the meal.

I do not like most mushrooms and didnt know this before coming but I still liked the coffee, as it seemed a little less heavy than traditional coffee for some reason. They have a decent food selection consisting of pastries and house-made latin/american dishes ranging from homemade chips and guacamole to Chilequiles. Note that all food is either vegetarian or vegan. The theme of the place is artisenal Latin/Mexican. If you dine in, you will receive your cold drink in a tall ceramic mug/cup most likely in an Aztec/Mexican style, while the hot drinks will be served in a mug and the food is served on festive plates. They play light Latin music in the background. They don't really advertise their syrups if you come in for an iced latte like me, but basically any of their artisanal coffees can be made iced or cold and you can choose from any of those ingredients/syrups in those choices to flavor your own custom latte. I also added a slice of banana bread from the pastry case adjacent to the register. The alchemist - a pretty light tasting latte with obvious notes of cinnamon. I liked it. Banana bread - more like a triple slice of bread. Its gluten free and very dense. A little on the dry side, obviously. Overall, I can see why they're highly rated. A must visit if you want to try some of the best coffee woodlands has to offer.
