I ordered their "Cold Brew w/vanilla sweet cream & light ice," and it was perfect! The bold flavor came through with a nice vanilla taste. I also ordered a banana nut muffin which was huge. The top was nice crunchy with a moist middle. Yum! I met up with one of my high school friends to catch up and enjoyed sitting out front. This place is lovely. It does get packed but thats because the food and drinks are amazing. I honestly wasn't aware this place existed before a friend recommended it and now I'm sad I missed out on eating here all this time. The staff is amazing! The prices are very reasonable. It's a tough choice between here and my fav Schriefer's deli that has the best staff and amazing options. But I think I I will take turns coming here and there. read more

I want to start by saying that I am a long time customer of Tazza, and enjoy the coffee and snacks there. After Sundays experience I will not be returning. I was enjoying a quiet sunday morning when I overheard the owner speaking very rudely to someone. I stood up to look and saw the owner cursing at an employee. He called her a "f**ing idiot" in front of all the customers and other employees. Didnt hear more than that plus something about dividing up the tips. Very disappointing. Ordered a salad, and the spinach leaves were old. I showed the salad to the girl at the counter, pointed out the old spinach leaves. I appreciate the "I'm sorry", but what she should have done is shown the salad to the manager who would have understood immediately that you don't serve old spinach if you claim to serve fresh salads (ironically, across the street is a grocery supermarket with fresh produce). If you are a coffee geek steer clear of this place. $6 for a cortado which wasn't a cortado at all - I burnt my tongue it was sooo hot. I should have returned it. Not friendly. No matter how many people are in line, service is always expedient and friendly; even not pre-ordering on the app, am typically in & out in under 2 minutes. Staff members (& owner) remember my "regular" order, even though I only frequent Tazza 2-3 days a week. Iced hazelnut coffee is substantially better than at "large chain" competitors, and pricing is fair. Perhaps the only quibble: prepared salads (tuna, egg, chicken) are merely decent...then again, they are certainly fresh at least. Net, net: will continue to be my "go to" spot when in Armonk and in need of a coffee/quick snack. read more

Definitely a pricey spot. I have never eaten here for that reason but I will say that I drive from lower Westchester just to come here for the Frozen Lattes. The Vanilla frozen latte is AMAZING and just what you need in the summer. It is what a frappucino is trying to be, but SO much better. The 3 stars are for the service. Be prepared for major attitude, especially when ordering frozen drinks. I understand that blending is annoying, but the drinks are on the menu and the staff needs to learn to accept that. On multiple occasions I have literally had them roll their eyes when I order a frozen drink and once the person literally asked me to order something else because it was busy and she "did not want to take the time to make it". I was at Tazza for a take out lunch. When I heard the total for a sandwich, a cookie and a drink I asked how it was possible. Prices are posted. Is tax in New York over 15%? No, tax isn't that high. I was over charged by several dollars by a cashier who insisted the prices he rang up were correct. I had to point to signs and the price list, and call over another staff member before he would concede. The place is incredibly loud, deafening in fact, so it was hard to hear each other. Tazza provides hot tea, coffee and chai lattes to Armonkians from 9 to 90. The chocolate croissants are a favorite, and they even make hot oatmeal! At lunch they sell salads, wraps and sandwiches, all delicious. The staff is friendly and helpful. The drawback is the new location. The old Tazza was in a cozy spot with wood floors and low ceilings. It was a perfect spot for coffee with a friend, and Mothers with children regained their sanity there over a meal with conversation. Now Tazza is in a large space with high ceilings and a concrete floor. Every surface amplifies the noise and is there a lot of noise! They pipe in music, tables are full of people are trying to talk, and the result is every body shouts. With no acoustical dampeners, it's an echo chamber, a deafening din. So unless you are buying to take out, the better choice is Mariani, just up the street. Much cozier and quieter for meeting a friend. read more

Stopped by today for a cappuccino, the quality of the espresso was very poor little crema, basically undrinkable, similar to Starbucks, typical of Westchester. Likely most of the steady customers add syrups and sweeteners so they would not know the difference. Of course, making a good espresso is not easy, you need the right beans roasted the correct amount, as fresh as possible, also an experienced barista who constantly adjusts the machine based on the coffee, outside humidity and temperature. Tazza does appear to have a good machine, they just need to train their operator, if the operator sees that the shot has no crema or is subpar in some way they should not serve to a customer. If the store owner is not a coffee fanatic the store will never attain a high level of espresso quality. read more

They do not have ristretto shots so I opted for the chai only to really regret it after the first sip. Hands down one of the worst chai I have ever had. It had strange artificial flavors that made me question what ingredients went into the syrup. Couldn't drink past a couple of sips. I've been living in Westchester my whole life and this is probably the worst and most over-priced coffee I've ever had. I've tried the hot coffee a few times and an iced coffee too and it was so watery. Some of the bakery goods are okay, but I would rather go to Decicco's if I need a coffee or something sweet. read more

You can order and wait a long while with ill behaved children screaming and running between your legs for the privilege if having the owner tell you to "wait over there". No please or would you mind.
