two iced caramel lattes with almond milk

terrible latte, tastes like coffee, barista said it was caramel sauce and not a flavor shot... it was a flavor shot cost was very expensive when you can get better quality at the local mobil gas station super disappointed at this shop in this cute little town not many good choices, pastries and muffins did look home made, but there was more store bought granola bars than anything cute outdoor seating, inside was boring looking and very dark

Cozy little neighborhood coffee shop right in the heart of Katonah with, no matter the weather, people always sitting outside on the benches with their dogs and their friends. We love to go and play cards in the corner. Solid hazelnut coffee and cappuccino.

Again the older Hispanic man at the Katonah location huffed and puffed under his breath when I asked for the inside of my cup for my Cookies and Cream to have chocolate syrup swirled inside the cup, a practice they already do for other drinks. Every single time I go in he gives me attitude. I even asked the young lady who rang us up to repeat what he said. She would not repeat it. Then he made my drink, with a pasty chalky substance that was hardened. The piece of hardened mix was like stick in the blender and did not put in any Oreo cookies. This is important as what happens next ties into this. I take the drink and was unable to get the chalky substance through the straw. I returned it. Got attitude about having it remade. The man walked by the counter saw that she was remaking the drink, took the bad drink, chucked it in the trash and didn't say a word to me. I watched the young lady remake my drink. She used a different powder that was not hard it was fresh and she added two Oreos to the blender with ice, swirled the syrup on the inside of the cup and made the drink the way it's supposed to be made. Clearly the man was trying to make my drink vindictively as to punish me for writing a previous bad review about him. What he said under his breath was "this f*cking guy." Clearly this man should be reprimanded for trying to sell me a purposely terribly made drink. I will contact management about this ongoing issue. This person should not be working there if he can't honor a customer's very simple request.

Worst coffee and baked goods of Katonah. Came here to meet up with some Italian friends that we haven't seen in ages and catch up over coffee. Disappointment is an understatement. With all the right equipment you would think coffee is foolproof. Except it's not. You can really mess up coffee and an easy cappuccino. Horrible espresso. Almond croissant was basically overly buttery and semi raw. Overall horrible coffee experience. If you sell coffee and are a coffee bar, I will judge you for coffee. Perhaps their food or orange juice is great but I did not come here for that.

Cozy place with outdoor seating. Their house blend coffee with almond milk was solid and freshly brewed. Their vanilla and chocolate pound cake was moist and delicious. Nice place to stop for a hot beverage and dessert. Seems like a local hangout for family and friends.

So when work brought me to Katonah, my first move--before coffee, before common sense--was a full sprint to Goldberg's. Let me say this: the experience was equal parts exhilarating and comforting... like running into an old friend who still makes things the way they're supposed to be made. I went for a sampler of my personal classics. The everything bagel? Phenomenal. The chew, the texture, the flavor--it transported me straight back home. The scallion cream cheese was easily one of the best I've had. If I had a complaint, it's that the bagel leaned a bit heavy on the salt. And yes, I did the unthinkable and left some of the outer layer behind. I know. I'm not proud of it. Next up: the chicken salad and coleslaw--my deli litmus tests. The chicken salad was a strong 9/10--again, just slightly salt-forward--but still excellent. The house-made coleslaw? A full 10/10. I would absolutely come back and eat a gallon of it without hesitation or shame. Now... the heartbreak. I ordered a Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a hard roll. I understand this is a bagel establishment, so maybe the roll isn't the star of the show--but this one was tough, crusty, and pretty lifeless. But the real offense? What I received was not Taylor ham. Not even close. Some kind of regular ham situation was happening, and to make matters worse, the sandwich was barely filled. As you'll see in the photo--it felt borderline criminal. That said, the service? Outstanding. Truly. Everyone was friendly, professional, and welcoming. They treated me like a regular even though it was my first time in, which goes a long way. All in all, I'm really glad I stopped in. It absolutely scratched that homesick itch for a real bagel and deli experience--and more importantly, it reassured me that places like this still exist. Next time, I'm sticking to the bagels... and ordering that coleslaw by the bucket. By the way, it earns three stars compared to its other New York Metro local delis... This would be a 12 star establishment in the north west corner of Connecticut

As you can tell by the existence of this review, I had decided to get to Bellmore I would park in the parking lot next to this business until I got back. This place does kind of give me a Rocky Balboa vibe upon entering, which isn't a bad thing at all. Some of the names of the menu items are even inspired from the movies such as The Balboa and The Italian Stallion. Beyond that, this place does take a little learning, but ordering is pretty simple once you know what you're doing. You don't pay for the order until you get your food, and you pay right by the front door. This is something I could see going awry if the wrong kind of people were to come here and requires an amount of trust in the customers that can make some nervous people uncomfortable. Really though, beyond that the service here is really good. I did have to remind the cashier to get my bill right when it was my turn to pay, so there is also that to consider. I did The Spartan Stack and some Mac and cheese bites because when I was returning to Katonah, I NEEDED something to eat right there and then. The Spartan Stack let me tell you got the spot just right, and I did appreciate some healthier ingredients such as cucumber in there. The Mac and cheese bites are a newer item as was The Spartan Stack, and those were pretty tasty. You get a chipotle sauce to dip them in, and let me just say that it does actually pack a punch of heat! All in all, a really satisfying lunch and I'm glad I came here. It's actually a great spot if you're commuting from the Katonah Station and it's very convenient. A good place indeed.
