I have never been to this chain of cafes before so this was my first time. Ordered the grilled chicken mozzarella Panini, which I anticipated to be grilled chicken, but it was actually deli chicken, which I wasn't too thrilled about. I will say it was good, but they did also forget the balsamic which was frustrating. The mozzarella was fresh, which did make the situation a little bit better. I also got the salad and a Matcha latte. The Matcha latte was perfectly made and made with appropriate ceremonial grade Matcha so I was very appreciative of that. It did take longer for me to get my food than anticipated. Overall would come back again. read more

First time coming here and didn't know you had to add whipped cream on top as a separate addition to the frozen drinks, but the barista was very nice to add it on for me at pick up. Definitely coming back! This spot has replaced my empty hole from the loss of a good blended drink (RIP, BC). I ordered the peanut butter mudd frozen latte in L. Cannot believe they even have an XL size you guys will make me gain too much weight. Super delicious drink that tastes like a frozen blended reese's. The espresso is nutty and perfectly complements it. Will come back to try all the other flavors and see if their pastries are any good! Just ecstatic to find a new go-to coffee spot. Product and service are Mid at best. Cappuccino has a strange acidic burnt taste and its way too expensive for that. Service is inconsistent. Sometimes good/bad sometimes nice/rude. Last time I asked for coffee's to be made before I left. Purposely wanted to have them made after I ate breakfast. Seemed like an easy request. However they were made right away and sat around while I waited for and ate my breakfast...At least 20 mins. Good service means you serve the customer at the request of the customer. Not what is convenient to the staff. Tazza management needs to have a good look at what's happening at the Millwood NY location. read more

I was in this area Saturday morning looking for a place to eat when we came upon this Cafe. Good reviews on Yelp so let's give it a try. Located in Milwood but on the border of Chappaqua. That's right Chappaqua, NY. Don't ask. Turns out this is a small chain with one or two other locations. Seems like a cross between a deli and a coffee house. Seems like a lot of these type of places are popping up trying to complete with Starbucks and Dunkin' Donuts. So here's the process, stand in line , place your order, pay, have a seat and wait. Sound familiar? Bid selection of coffees with some exotics. I had a Hawaiian Coconut and an egg sandwich. Wife had regular coffee with an egg sandwich. Good came quickly but seating is very tight. Only downside for me. Not sure when we'll be in this area again but I wouldn't turn my nose up at this coffee house/deli. read more

My coffee tasted burnt.... And they charged me... get this... $15 for one large cold brew with cream and vanilla and a small iced latte with salted caramel. After I paid I was confused at the price because each coffee should've been around $5 according to the price board above the register but when I asked she explained that for each pump of flavor they charge $1.03 !!!!! That means I paid like $7 or so dollars just in flavor. Are they kidding?! I guess I'll go to Starbucks next time. Also... I did not specify how much of the salted caramel flavor I wanted and it was way too sweet.... Must be all that expensive syrup I just paid for. read more

Love Tazza! They have great mochas. The staff is friendly and it's always pretty quiet here, which I think is a good thing. They used to have yummy, fresh brownies. But today I had one, and it was pretty hard. I don't think that's such a good thing for a brownie to be ... I'll be back for the mochas - not the brownies. read more

I really hate to give Tazza a three star rating.. The coffee and food is very good. The baked good are even better.. But the morning cashier is a nightmare. I stop here at least 10 times per month. I watch her giggle and chat with all the regulars, apparently she does not consider me one of them. If I don't bark out my order fast enough to her she snaps at me. It's become a regular screaming match just to order my cappuccino. The staff is so pleasant and helpful, but she is really uncalled for. I've seen her treat other people very rudely as well. I just scream my order in her face now and she just screams right back at me. Great start to the day. read more

Ordered a TOASTED muffin with butter, almost instantly the muffin was on the counter and was ready so naturally I asked this muffin is toasted correct? I received an immediate snotty response "YES" with an attitude. The woman who took my order was wearing a neck brace and did not seem like she wanted to be there. When I got out to my vehicle I opened the muffin and clearly it was not toasted and was just smothered in butter as you can see in the attached photo. I'm well aware that mistakes happen but honestly I don't know if this was a mistake it was not my first bad experience with this employee but it will be my last! Coffee is sometimes good. Bagels - meh. But they're inconsistent on everything, including service. There's obviously little training for staff - it all depends on who's working that day, from friendly to rude to completely obnoxious. They're slo-o-o-w, so don't go if you're in a hurry. I stopped in here because I had some time to kill locally. The iced coffee was OK. Perhaps if I had it hot I would appreciate it more but it was too hot outside for a hot coffee. One thing I will say...it is SO LOUD in here I could barely order. And all this noise was produced by 2 customers (women chatting non-stop). This is no doubt a product of a wooden floor, wooden tables and chairs and straight walls. No fabric of any kind in here so the sound just bounces around and echoes around. I have to start by saying I am the type of person who gets a coffee before work 2-3 days a week. I used to go mostly to dunkin or starbucks, but since discovering Tazza I refuse to go anyplace else. Not only are the prices comparable, but the coffee is SIGNIFICANTLY better. This is hands down the best coffee I've ever had. They have amazing flavors like coconut and toasted almond, and they all taste so fresh and smooth. The food here is also great. I've only gotten it once, but I had a breakfast sandwich with avocado and bacon and egg and oh my god...unreal. Even better and more enjoyable than rockys across the street! But now for the real reason this place is so great....all of the people who work here are SOOOOO nice. The first time I came, I didn't realize they have a minimum for credit cards. The women working the register, ( who I think owns the place?) told me not to worry if I didnt have cash, i could pay them back next time. Luckily I did have cash, but I just found this gesture to be so kind and it is not something you see at larger chains like starbucks. Since which, I always leave my change in the tip jar and have even seen her make the same offer to other costumers. Those in the back making the beverages and food are also incredibly kind. They always make a point to wish you a nice day, weekend, etc. This is my first yelp review so you know that I must feel very strongly about the place. They were pleasantly surprised at the large menu selection in this unassuming cafe in a strip mall. One scarfed down the last two donuts, plain and sugared, his favorite. I've been a regular customer at Tazza for over a year, weekly customer if not daily. What happened today was so rude and unpleasant that I have to warn you about it. At noon, I overheard the boss questioning a customer who regularly buys coffee but brings his own cup. The boss questioned, after standing behind this customer for a while, "Where did you get this book? Where did you get your coffee? Did you purchase anything before sitting here?" I was shocked by how rude he was. Since when did this start, just randomly interrupt and question customers? After hearing the answer--book from library and coffee from here--the arrogant boss simply turned away, manners left behind, if he ever had any. So, better go to other cafe, literally any other cafe. This is not a place to enjoy anymore and I don't want be interrupted and questioned like that. read more

The coffee is usually pretty good!!!, I usually pick it up on my way to work but lately I've been encountering this issue where the blonde lady that works in the morning keeps getting my coffee wrong and the first time that it happened, I wasn't that mad because people make mistakes but yesterday she made my coffee completely wrong and now it keeps happening, every time she goes to make my coffee she starts talking to the other customers and doesn't pay attention to what she's doing. Tazza Cafe is a nice local spot. Great for grabbing a coffee or meeting friends. The coffee is stronger than Dunkin, but without the acidity and prices of Starbucks. It's located in a small shopping center, meaning parking is hardly ever a problem. It's a small shop, so not the best place for big groups, but their selection is very large. I can't imagine someone not finding something yummy on the menu. They have a display case full of fresh baked goods every morning, but must warn you...get there early, they go quickly. I ordered a Spinach and Egg-White, Tomato, and Feta breakfast sandwich. Nothing amazing, but worth the $3+ I paid. The service is good. The workers are kind and don't rush you along if you're like me and can't make up your mind. I only wish it stayed open later for my late night caffeine/sweet tooth cravings. read more

This was my go to place for many years. Incredibly friendly staff. Good selection of food and baked goods. Great location. However, the espresso drinks are simply below the quality one would expect from an independent coffee house. There are so many choices throughout NYC, other than Starbucks, that are enjoying great success. More choices seem to pop up every day. The one thing they all have in common is a great Barista Team, who have been properly trained. There is no reason that Tazza cannot be one of those choices in Westchester. There are at least 2 known houses in Pleasantville and Hastings on the Hudson that make great Espresso Drinks. All have a great Barista team. Hopefully, this helps. read more
