Taylor Sam's is a cute breakfast and lunch spot. We met up with friends for Sunday brunch. Definitely expect a wait. We were told 20 minutes, but it ended up being more like 35 minutes. Once we were seated, the service and food was wonderful. My husband ordered the #hashtag delicious and it certainly was that! I went with more of a lunch option and had the Bella. After an issue with my sandwich, the server brought out a replacement. The Bella is a great melding of flavors... one of the tastiest sandwiches I've had. I had heard about their coffee drinks and we ordered the special of the day, which was a Gingerbread Latte and my friends ordered the Path Train. Both were extremely sweet, especially the Path Train. Would never go back again. The manager I'm assuming or owner whoever they were are so rude to their employees and honestly just speak disgusting in ear shot of patrons. No idea how they still have employees as they cannot be paid enough to get harassed all day long. Food was pretty okay , I've had better breakfast, but it definitely was on the better side but honestly just lost my whole appetite after having a background live performance of harassment. They do not respect the ones who are making the food or handling it to the tables enough to create any decent environment. I've been a server before , and if I got treated like that in front of customers I would be thoroughly embarrassed and feel harassed no matter how many fake laughs come from the managers after these horrible things are spewed. Amazing breakfast and service. Such cute decor and a diverse menu. Lots of specialty coffees to choose from. My ham, egg & cheese on a muffin (Ray Ray muffin) was delicious and I added some yummy potatoes to my plate. My daughter had the beansie tostada and thoroughly enjoyed it. We both ordered the path train with oat milk. The only thing was we were asked what type of milk we wanted but it was never mentioned that there's an up charge for oat. Normally I don't like leaving bad reviews for restaurants but Taylor Sam's is the exception to my rule the food here is so disingenuously Bland and boring that I don't think I can hold my tongue. My buddy and I went here early in the morning for a nice cup of coffee and breakfast after a long day needless to say this was already the start to a bad day in New Jersey. Walking into the place I really like the décor it reminded me I'm almost like a hipster Brooklyn feel in a coffee shop which is completely fine by me we got to the table sat down ordered our food both of us ordered corned beef with eggs and a coffee I was hoping the coffee would be good judging by the other reviews and pictures that I saw however if you wanted the most accurate description of what it tastes like think of like an upscale Nesquik I don't think I would wake up north feel great starting my day with this coffee. So the coffee wasn't that great not every place has good coffee that's completely fine now we get to the corned beef and eggs thank. God. for. salt. If nothing had a flavor it would have been this meal I think I need to pray to condiments after this. All in all I don't think I would come back. read more

We absolutely love this place. It is so cute and the ambience is friendly farmhouse diner they have a fantastic menu with lots of creative specials. The service is prompt and so friendly. They have a way that when you walk in that you can scan and put your name down for a table because it does get packed, I would suggest using that. I had biscuits and eggs with sausage gravy and it was really delicious and my husband had eggs with Taylor ham and love that as well. The star of the show for me was the espresso bar and I had what they call a New Jersey transit, which is espresso and hot chocolate with froth milk, cinnamon, and vanilla on top and that was so good. I drank every drop we will definitely return to the spot anytime we're in the area and hopefully that will be a lot. read more

Nope.. Over priced, over hyped. I've had better breakfast at Dennys. Eggs were runny and no flavor. Powdered eggs on a cruise were better. Staff was rushed, and disinterested. The food was phenomenal. We stopped here while randomly running errands in Brick. I ordered LA Metro which is a white chocolate mocha. It was stronger than I like but the mountain of whip cream on top added a nice balance. I also ordered one of the specials and I cannot remember the name but with was eggs Benedict with chorizo and a jalapeño biscuit. It was absolutely delicious. My sister had the "Paco's breakfast," which is a dish I often frequent. For $12.99, you get two breakfast empanadas with home fries and house salsa. My nephew got the "Kentucky Express," aka chicken and waffles. Top quality! Our crew also got fancy lattes, which I always appreciate. I've noticed that prices have gone up slightly, like most restaurants across the country. For their portion sizes and quality, the prices make sense. Our experience, as usual, was a great one! Taylor Sam's serves truly great pancakes. Some would say the best anywhere. Try to get them if you visit. This gem of a restaurant is located in Brick near the hospital and other medical buildings on Highway 88. Parking is sometimes busy but there is a designated lot and side streets. The family run business has an interior that is open and inviting. TS's serves breakfast and lunch and is often quite busy so plan ahead. A wide variety of breakfast and lunch food is on the menu though I must admit I get breakfast food every time I go. The service is good and the employees are pretty friendly. The breakfast dishes run from $10.50-$14.99 and coffee or tea is $2.89. Their orange juice is delicious but will run you $4.09 a glass. You will want to linger but service is prompt, once seated, so you will be in and out in no time all the while peacefully enjoying your meal. Love this place read more

I'll be honest, I only discovered this place because the original restaurant I was trying to go to closed, and what a happy discovery it was. The place hardly stands out off the side of a one lane interstate. But boy is it a welcome surprise when you walk in, I'm told they recently refurbished and you can tell it paid off in spades. There's a certain kind of charm about the entrance where you kind of feel like you're at the shore or at least not in Jersey specifically. We were promptly greeted and seated in a matter of minutes. Our waitress was also especially cheerful and attentive which is always a welcome sign. I ordered the "s**t on a stick" special (I kid you not). While my girlfriend got the taylor cakes. As someone who has never had chopped beef and gravy for breakfast I'm a new fan of it. The pancakes were warm and fluffy and the fresh fruit gave them a nice gentle sweetness. Such a wonderful place. Taylor Sam's has a warm, comfortable, diner-y feel. It has a creative menu of both drinks and food, which appears to change from time to time, incorporating new ideas and seasonal creations. The food was excellent and filling, and it came in huge servings. I made the 'mistake' of ordering an appetizer as well as an entree, plus a seasonal and pretty sweet coffee drink that came with a superb donut - everything was thoroughly enjoyable and I happily cleaned my plate, but two of the three (maybe even one of the three, in regard to the entree) would've been more than enough, size-wise.
