The Wagners are very honest about timetables and costs. They are good about telling you what various options you have for parts, types of repairs, etc so you understand what the opportunity costs are with respect to time, money, convenience, and quality. They are also very responsive about looping customers in on communication with the insurance companies. I appreciated that the Wagners were willing to explain auto body 101 concepts to me -- they are humble and there is no talking down or condescension when repairs/car issues are being explained. On sort of a side note, by talking to Rob I learned a lot about car bodies and just generally got some bigger picture insight into car repairs, the insurance industry, and supply chain issues. The Wagners just come across as being very decent and thoughtful guys. And not least of all, the quality of the repair is fantastic. The car looks like new and feels new. Even though I live in the eastern part of the city of Pittsburgh and the Wagners are out in a northern suburb, I would make them my first choice for future big repairs. They rushed the work the second week, and scratched my roof in a few places and told me it was like that. Angie stated they Did the scratch, she saw it somehow in a picture they took?? They fixed it. The one in the middle of the roof was not repaired. I found paint smudge prints and dust on my back door panel, and dust in the interior door panels as well. They Armor All the tires, and had it all over the freshly painted wheel wells! They did a nice job on the rust, but that was it! Absolutely no communication the first week they had my car. I had to call to get a update on Friday... I asked for them to buff my car, $225, they did not even do the whole car, so I feel I should have been reimbursed some, but they did not. So this is why I am giving a 2 star review. For spending $2075 for work they provided, I think they should have treated me and my car more professional than they did!

She went back and asked one of the owners about it and they said "oh yeah, only the dealer can correct that issue, we aren't allowed". He was nothing but rude about it. I called a few days later to further understand why he didn't know up front that they weren't able to complete the job. He acted like they didn't know the mirror needed to be calibrated and basically lied to me that it wasn't known at the time of the estimate. Meanwhile when the vehicle was picked up he acted like they didn't even know. I would not trust them ever again and they don't deserve anyone's business. If i could give them a zero star rating I would but google requires at least 1 star to post comments..

So I filed a claim with my insurance and selected Precision Auto Works for repairs. Precision gave me a same-day estimate, worked with my insurance, and scheduled a repair at my convenience. Precision's estimate was ~$200 more than my (virtual) insurance estimate but I only paid my deductible and Precision sorted the difference out with my insurer. No problem! 3 days after dropping off my car, it was fixed, washed, and waxed. It looks just like new! I've attached photos for reference.

The work has always been completed on time, and the paint quality has been amazing. As car dealerships continue to consolidate it's becoming harder and harder to find high-quality repair facilities in our area.
