Worst experience at a body shop I have ever had.. took my Mercedes Benz cla 45 cause they were certified by Mercedes Benz. What I come to find out there craftsmanship was poor, just as well as there customer service. This body shop only cares about clearing insurance checks and does not care. Overall, this body shop experience was terrible! They are unwilling to adjust their labor rates to work with insurance companies leaving you to pay for the rest of any damages. They also like to charge an arm and a leg to wash your vehicle for some reason? The paint work that was needed, after having my car for two weeks, wasn't completed properly and needed to be rebuffed when I arrived to pick up the vehicle. On top of that, there is a run in clear coat and tons of little scratches in the paint. This body shop seems to want to nickel and dime the insurance companies and the vehicle owner as well. Terrible customer service and complete dishonesty from the employees. If you bought/leased a car from Bobby Rahal, I would suggest thinking twice and consider another body shop for your repair. If you need paperwork, make 3 or 4 copies. They lost my paperwork 3 times. They didn't even start looking / working on my car for 9 days after it was dropped off. We explained that we did not have a rental and that it was important to move as quick as possible. After lost paperwork and complaints from our insurance things started to move. I am not one who is usually impressed with a! Auto body shop. Kilkeary's impressed me from beginning to end. The secretary, guy handling my claim, and anyone else I talked to was first class. They walked me thru how to make the most of my rental time and came thru in getting my car done in the time they said they would. The building is clean and looks new from front to back. When you pull up you'll see Jeep's, Hondas, Audi, BMW, and Landrovers waiting to get fixed. At least three cars same in when I was there. When people pick up their cars they look good as new. I had the same experience with my Honda. What really impressed me when I picked it up was some of the small things. The car didn't smell like smoke. The interior was clean and I couldn't have asked for more. Trust me I looked over the car. I won't take a car anywhere else. I looked into going to some other places and I'm so glad I didn't. Oh and they try hard to get your insurance to put only OEM parts on your car. Who else does that? read more

Horrible follow up. I was taken in with how clean the place was and how polite, but after multiple tries to get an issue resolved, I realize that their politeness is also a way of blowing you off. Every time they said they would call me back or email me- that never happened. Claims to stand by their work are false. I'm going to have to look at this screwed up paint until I find someone else to fix it- and I guess pay out of my own pocket. Very dissatisfied with them. Had a Honda that needed the front bumper replaced due to a failed run in with a guardrail. Estimate process went smooth, facility was clean, agents were polite & knowledgeable. That's where it ends--had to wait almost a month for the repair appointment, and they said it would take a minimum of 5 business days (a long time to be without a vehicle esp due to a relatively minor repair). Dropped vehicle off on a Sunday night. Talked to them Tuesday morning to learn that they hadn't touched vehicle yet, they refused to commit to any timeline, and worst of all they wouldn't commit to a cost -- specifically telling me I'm responsible for any difference between their estimate and the insurance's audited amount -- which given the check the insurance mailed to them weeks earlier, was already a difference of almost $400 above and beyond my $500 deductible -- essentially they told me it would cost at least $900 and could be more depending on "what they found once they got into the repair".....I'm not a big fan of insurance companies, but I resent being leveraged in a quasi-extortion scheme even more. I ended up walking almost 3 miles to retrieve my vehicle. I would absolutely avoid this business at all cost. read more

I had a 2013 VW Passat that had some roof damage. Except for some initial snags with the them not sending me right paperwork at first (rectified via email and fax) and getting the work on the car started (it was around the Thanksgiving holidays) it seemed to all go very well overall. I was very pleased with the repair work and I received the car back ready to go completely detailed inside and out. The biggest challenge for pick up was just trying to make it to the shop after work in time before they close. Ultimately I would bring my car back to them if I had to get more work done. Also I would recommend them to anyone in the South Hills who needs VW-certified collision repair. read more

Great customer service and communication with the Insurance company. Always professional and on time delivery

They are not bad, but not great. Primarily do high-end cars as they get referrals from the major South Hills dealerships in the area. Lots of Mercedes, BMWs, in addition to more routine cars. I have 2008 Mercedes CLS that is my "baby." I've had them do some minor repair on it three times. They do an "ok" job - blends are pretty good, although paint is not absolute perfect match even though they claim to use the same manufacturer as original high end cars. Granted, I have metallic which is very difficult to match. Clearcoat is all scratched but can be subsequently polished to a nice shine. Regarding the metalwork itself, I had them repair a rear quarter panel after a parking lot hit and run, and they did a pretty impressive job. Other than looking at the paint in the light (their metallic doesn't sparkle like the OEM) it is hard to tell it was repaired. My main gripe is that they don't pay attention to small details - my car is always filthy in the interior when I get it back, and I got several small dents in my trim that was definitely from them, and now I have to stare at the ding every day driving my car. Looks like they dropped a screwdriver or something on my trim. They wash the car and put swirls and scratches all over the finish, so after my repair I have to go and buff them out afterwards. They are definitely not a "detail" shop. Granted I'm much more picky than the average customer, but when they charge high prices and claim to be the high end repair shop, they should pay a bit more attention to these things and not have sloppy washes and put their feet all over my leather seats. Oh well. I'd go there again, but primarily because there are so many worse places. read more

Used them a few times, always very professional, take out all of the administrative work and make it very easy for the consumer. Horrible service. Was mind blown how they lie about their schedule and don't respect your time at all. (Kept me waiting in lobby for 45 minutes) Ken was very rude and rushed. Told me to go to another body shop because his schedule this month is too full to get me in the next three weeks. When on Wednesday, he said I could get an appointment next Wednesday. (Next week) hmmm?? Business 101: don't turn away customers with insurance claims over $2,000. I wouldn't be too happy If I owned that business and found out my employees were turning away customers saying they are too busy and giving my company a bad reputation. Especially in this small town. My daughter was devastated to see the damage her car (BMW X3) suffered after a traffic accident a couple of weeks ago. I took my Mercedes ML350 to Kilkeary's after it sustained rear end damage in a collision. Mike was very helpful getting everything taken care of in a first class manner. All of the parts used were new Mercedes parts and the paint matching was perfect, which can be difficult with the metallic premium paints. The entire process, from drop-off, the arranging the rental car and pickup was first class. I am writing this review several months after I picked up my car in July so that I can tell you there are no interior rattles, leaks or any other problems with the vehicle post-repair, which involved replacing the rear hatch, bumper and underbody components. With the amount of panels that were removed and replaced in the back this was a major concern and I can say to date they pulled it off flawlessly. All of the warranty documentation arrived as promised and I feel highly confident in the quality of the repair and service provided by Mike that I would recommend this shop to any luxury car owner. read more

From the onset, my experiences with them have been of the highest and most professional quality one could desire. I recently had my M4 in repairs and as expected, the repair is flawless. I worked with Mike and have also interacted with Tim in the past. This time, they even came to my house to pick up my car per my request as I was busy and heading out of town. They also worked on my 335i convertible in the past. They ensure the highest quality repairs and won't let the insurance companies try and push their agenda for lower quality parts and alternative solutions.
