Went her to have my car repaired after a minor accident. They were fast, I was able to get in for an estimate within a few days on a Thursday and took it in for repairs the following Monday. I like that they have an app and they update you the status of your car regularly. I only chose this place because the insurance chose it, but I would definitely return. read more

I had some minor body work done on Nov 30th. I scraped the rocker panel on the passenger side, and it needed paint, so of course it was more than my insurance deductible. They said that they were booked through Oct-Nov, so I had to wait. They originally quoted 2-3 days, but they had it completed the next morning. Not only was the work done well, but they also washed my card AND cleaned the interior. I've had dealers who did not do this. They also called Enterprise and scheduled my rental for me before I got there that morning. read more

Last week I had a hit and run that occurred on my car and my dealership recommended Coyle Auto Body. Seeing that I don't know many shops around the area, I decided on them and I'm so glad that I did. Since this had never happened to me, I was a little overwhelmed in the beginning and Coyle was nothing but helpful. They even took the initiative to set up my rental car while I was on the phone with my insurance agent. To top it off, my car looks brand new! Can't even tell that something happened. It is never fun to get your car fixed, but definitely a necessary evil. That's why these reviews are so important. I had a little fender bender (we won't say who's fault it was... wink wink) and my insurance referred me to Coyle. I've never been to a body shop before (not to my knowledge at least) and didn't even realize that all garages are not made equal... I found out my usual garage doesn't do body work, only internal. So I ended up at Coyle totally clueless to what was going to happen to my little baby Pepper (that's my little red Nissan Juke). I had some front bumper/light damage and the total coast was around $2,000. Crazy, right? When I looked at the summary, $1,000 of it was labor! I'm not well schooled on what costs look like today for damaged cars, but I'm aware it's not cheap. Is this a rip off, I can honestly say I'm not sure. Also, I was told my car would be done in three days, and it ended up being 4 days. I had to call on the third day, and when they told me it would be done the next day, I asked when it would be done and the person couldn't tell me a time. Not the greatest answer when you have a busy day ahead of you. But a couple things I will note. When I got my car back it was washed outside and inside (as much as they could with all the junk I had inside it). Plus, I had some scratches that I had meant to ask them to patch up and they did it without me asking! I was very pleasantly surprised about that, because they were tiny, so they must have looked for scratches to fill in. I really appreciated those little touch. Plus, everyone I dealt with was very friendly. They set up my rental car and had Enterprise there to pick me up, and I just dropped off the rental car back to Coyle, and didn't have to drive it back to Enterprise. While I was a little peeved at the extra day, it wasn't a total bust by any means, once I saw the extra touches they'd done to my car. read more

Do not trust. They will add additional charges to your estimate. When confronted they will come up with some excuse and then say they will refund the money to the insurance company. but never do they will find some way to figure the money in to look like it was not insurance fraud. horrible experience never was updated on our car and actually took longer that what was told. read more

Took my jeep there, after a minor mishap on the road. The steering stop working and the transmission seemed to be off. I took it to Coyle and they said the steering pump need replace. They replaced and fixed the steering, but never check anything else, the transmission is not working smoothly and there is still a clanking noise coming from the engine. When i called, the person on the phone, hold me they were never asked to look at any thing else. One they should of check the car to make sure it was safe and let me know if anything else was wrong. Two, when they moved the car around the lot, they could hear the noise the engine was making. Will never go here again. read more

USE A DIFFERENT SHOP I have been to this shop on 2 separate occasions for work on my wife's 2011 Toyota Sienna XLE. I went to the shop because my father and Jim Coyle the owner were acquaintances through the Rotary Club. The first time I used the shop was in April 2016 because the power doors on the van weren't operational. $1,629.15 cents later the power doors STILL do not work, but the van doors open and close manually. It took them a week to figure out they couldn't fix it. Normally I would have never gone back but because my father knows the owner, I gave them another chance. What a mistake that turned out to be! The second visit started in June 2016 and was to repair the van after it was rear ended and had a 2" wide scratch down the passenger side. The accident was not severe as none of the 3 people in the van were hurt at the time of the accident. The van was still driveable so I dropped it at the shop for repairs. 4 WEEKS LATER, enough was enough and I asked for my van back. The work was incomplete. They couldn't find a trailer hitch. A DIYer installs a hitch in under 30 minutes so I'm not sure why the shop had so much trouble. Not only was the work incomplete, one hour before I needed to come pick up my van on a Friday afternoon, the shop called in a ransom message. Not only did they need the $500 deductible, but an additional hold check for $1,571 or my van would not be returned to me. I had returned the loaner and needed the van to go away with my wife and 3 kids over the weekend. I explained to the shop clerk (Tina, probably also a Coyle) the shop was asking me to do is not only illegal, but also out of line in consideration of the timing. Tina told me I was stupid and hung up the phone on me. I called my Progressive claims rep for help since he was managing the repair work. This local claims representative from Progressive visits Coyle Auto Body at least once per week on behalf of Progressive clients, so he & Coyle know each other well. The Progressive Rep called the shop and said he'd be in first thing on Monday to square things up. Still, Coyle Auto Body refused to give me the car without the check for $1571. This is Progressive insurance, not some fly by night insurance. The van was held for ransom by Coyle Auto Body at 4:00 on a Friday afternoon to the tune of $1571. The shop doesn't do good work. The help is rude and will hang up you. Save yourself this trouble; use a different shop. read more

I had a very minor accident a few weeks ago; with Coyle being right down the street it was the natural place to take my car for repairs. Nothing is ever cheap but they made everything convenient and they were also able to fit me in for an oil change/inspection. I would recommend them and will also return for any other work I need on my car (though let's hope I don't have to) and regular maintenance! Added bonus: my car was nice and clean when I picked it up! read more

They gave me an honest, good and fair quote and the repairs were done quickly and the car looked great, they even cleaned it for me. I was given a recommendation to this shop by someone I believed I could trust. Unfortunately I was very disappointed. While at first I was encouraged by the tone the person I spoke to, it became more worrisome as time went. I never received a call with an estimate, just a call that it was done. I had advised that there were two issues that absolutely needed looked at, one was apparently ignored as when the car was picked up that problem had not be addressed. This is just pitiful. I gave very clear instructions on what I was told needed to be fixed (by a mechanic) and it was NOT repaired. I would only suggest going to Coyle if you want a job half done. read more

This will be my 2nd review for Coyle. Once again they came through for me! With the cold weather recently my almost 6 year old car battery finally bit the dust.. my boyfriend and I were able to jump it but it was dying by the next day. We were sure what exactly was wrong and no one could schedule an appt for me to have the problem assessed for several days. I called down to Coyle and they said that I could bring it down and they would look at it right away for me. We jumped it again and took it down. The mechanic took all my info and within 30 mins of us leaving already called to tell me it was just the battery all other parts looked great and they could change it and have the work completed by end of day. In total my car was w them for maybe 3hrs with no appointment or notice and they were so friendly and amazing! To top it off, their prices are fair. I'll always come back to Coyle Auto Repair!
