These people are literally the disease that pretends to be the cure. They tell you to bring in your Older car and for $400 they will undercoat it and add life to the car. Then, instead of doing the Preventative maintenance I asked for, I was told that after descaling the vehicle, they would not undercoat it. It turns out that their version of descaling is actually sandblasting. So their Scam is to punch a bunch of holes in the bottom of your vehicle with a sandblaster. Then you have to either pay $110 to get your car back, Or let them repair the damage that they did, which I never got an estimate for although I asked for one. I stopped him when He got to $5000 on the phone, and asked for a written estimate. Went and got my truck. He made no effort to show me the damage or the repairs needed. I waited seven days and never got an estimate for the repairs. I did immediately take the truck to my mechanic who put it up on the rack and said there was nowhere near $5000 worth of damage And the only reason that the truck would not pass inspection was that they had punched a bunch of holes in it with their sand blaster. I will be reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, And all relevant law enforcement and regulatory agencies. They even have a form letter ready to shoot to you as soon as they de-scale your car. Missed major corrosion holes. Manager Ron flat out accused me of lying. Asked to speak to the owner, called me annoying and hung up the phone. Jay the supervisor said we pay people $10 to give us good reviews because we want to "incentivize people to give us a good review" ------------- After Rust Repair's undercoating, my mechanic found massive holes in the car that were left unrepaired. Basically Rust Repair Inc. did the undercoat without finding/looking for the holes. These guys are clearly incompetent if a regular mechanic could find these holes. Originally, the Manager Ron admitted the pictures over email looked really bad. After a few days, Ron flat out accused me of lying. Said that these pictures could be anything. I directly asked Ron if he was accusing me of lying, and he said yes. He said he doesn't see a resemblance to my own vehicle and that I can't prove that it's my car. "Yes, we don't believe you that these are the pictures of the car." Called back to get in contact with the owner. Ron hung up the phone. Called again to ask why he hung up the phone. "Because you're being really annoying and you're not getting your money back". Incompetent, accusatory, and rude! Don't deal with these "professionals" who can't find corrosion holes. They just want your money and won't refund their own incompetent service. This place came highly recommended from a fellow Queens resident. I had my car shipped out almost 400 miles to RRI to have them remove all the rust from my 1985 Olds Cutlass Supreme. Scott was very professional the entire time keeping me informed of everything that was going on. Even though my car was a little too damaged (frame) for them to repair, they were able to clean and undercoat almost %80 of my car to protect it from further damage while I take care of the trouble parts myself. My Toyota FJ did not pass inspection due to a little hole in the frame. Toyota told me "This might be the kiss of death" my FJ only has 67000 miles on it so of course I was devastated. Went to many shops all said they could not fix it. The last shop recommended Rust Repair Inc. and said if they can't fix it nobody can. The wait to get in was long but well worth it! In 2020, R&R did a rust repair that was excellent. July 9, I go in to make an appt for rust repair required to pass inspection. The owner gives me an August 26 appt stating it will take 2 days. Drop my car off 8/26. Two days later (Friday) they haven't started, staff out with COVID, etc.. Okay, I'll pick the car up and drop it off Sunday night and am told if I take my car out of line, they won't do the work until October. I leave it. Five days later, they still haven't started the car and not ONE phone call with the status of the car!!! The owner was all about how short-staffed he was and not one apology for the lack of communication. Picked up my car, took it to Precision Auto Body in Jefferson Hills and repairs were done in 2 days. The quality of their work may be good, but R&R will treat you like crap! As far as Robert the owner is concerned, it's all about him! Beware if you're not in a position to rent a car while this place jerks you around on completion date. A few simple phone calls and some flexibility could have resolved this, but the owner only sees things from his perspective, customer service be damned! read more

I visited the Monroeville location. I had an out-of-state car that was failing an enhanced inspection because of rust on the rear frame. It turned out to be hard to find anyone that would help with that. Eventually one mechanic recommended Rust Repair Inc.
