They were completely honest, confirmed the battery was bad, and replaced it immediately. I was also quoted $1,800 by the dealership to replace the weatherstripping. Tony took a look, explained my options clearly, and gave me a much more affordable solution using clips (which means I just open the front door when closing the rear). I went with that option and couldn't be happier. It's refreshing to find a shop that's honest and truly looks out for the customer instead of trying to upsell unnecessary work. Tony and the team at Balistreri Auto Service are the real deal. Highly recommend!

I made an appointment elsewhere and forgot about it due to work, ended up calling The Wrench Lab and they were able to get me in the next morning right at open! I know how packed a schedule can be so I'm grateful they were able to work with me and get me on the way. Not to mention, most places will try to upsell you on a whole bunch and we all know that feeling. This place did not, I was given some helpful tips on helping to save money with basic car maintenance which is really nice. Joe went out of his way to make sure my son had heat in the Tacoma before he leaves for school. The experience at the Wrench Lab is not like taking your vehicle into a shop, but having family take care of you. This is the best shop in the Pittsburgh area. I think that action itself shows a lot about Justin's character and the pride he takes in his car services. I have had very bad car service experiences before, and when I told Justin about that, he went the extra mile to ensure that he always provided the utmost detail, explanations of services rendered when I had questions, and timely updates. Honestly, his car shop has restored my ability to trust car guys again with the exemplary service that he has provided. I have full trust and faith in Justin that he will always provide the necessary car services without overcharging or "fixing" things that don't need to be fixed. Justin goes the extra mile to not only get the job done right, but does so honestly and transparently. I really appreciate the work that he has put into my almost twenty-year-old vehicle and he has kept it in excellent shape since I have been coming here. Pons Auto Service deserves all of the business and I will tell everyone I possibly can at every chance I get to come here and support this small business! Thank you for all you do, Justin!

Last March, I went to Hetrick's for a rear rattle (likely a shock mount) and a locking brake. They replaced the shocks--wrong fix--and didn't touch the actual problem. The noise never fully went away. For the brakes, they just added lubricant, which only worked for a few months. To top it off, the new shocks were installed incorrectly and are now shot. $500+ wasted to them, plus hundreds more today to replace their work.
