I called to set up a car inspection, and expectations were clearly communicated. Overall, I'm very pleased with McNeilly Automotive Service, and I would recommend them!

Ladies especially, you probably know the one..like your mere presence irritates them even though you're a customer, or you can sense their annoyance at dealing with a woman rather than a man. Definitely recommend.

My sister recently took her car in for a repair and our lovely, involuntary, state inspection. Not only was the service fast and efficient, but the prices were so low I thought I was seeing things... and I probably was, but that's my therapist's problem. Anyhow, when we told them about a weird noise the car was making, they replied, "Oh, that's just the ghost of your old alternator coming back to haunt you." I laughed, they laughed, the car laughed, and then we stalled the car. All in all, I highly recommend Morrow's to anyone in need of some car TLC. Last March, I went to Hetrick's for a rear rattle (likely a shock mount) and a locking brake. They replaced the shocks--wrong fix--and didn't touch the actual problem. The noise never fully went away. For the brakes, they just added lubricant, which only worked for a few months. To top it off, the new shocks were installed incorrectly and are now shot. $500+ wasted to them, plus hundreds more today to replace their work.

As the other reviewer said, they are very knowledgeable here and were fair and honest. The best part though was it felt like they went above and beyond in doing the actual work! Basically if you go to like Jiffy Lube etc they'll do a basic oil change for a cheap price, but at Apex for a reasonable (slightly higher but I'm telling you it's reasonable/worth it) they actually check all your fluids and tighten everything that needs tightened, my car feels 100 times better than before they worked on it. I'll be coming back to them next month for an inspection and pretty much anything I'll need done from now on. Good guys who really know what they're doing. And quick, too!
