Had some work done there on my CRV about a year ago. Noticed that the plastic around my wheel well was loose. Called in and owner Denny told me to swing by the next day so he could look at it. He looked at the area and said that his shop didn't do the work because "we don't use this kind of glue" I politely told him that this was the only body shop I had ever used, and suggested he could look up the invoice. He refused, telling me he "didn't know how to do that" and telling me to present the invoice and then he would think about it. I was shocked almost speechless as a. I didn't expect to be accused of trying to pawn off something on his company b. I was willing to pay for the repair, wasn't asking for something free. Worst experience I've ever had in my 48 years on the planet. Find ANYONE ELSE if you need repair work. read more

I dropped off my brand new 2020 Dodge hellcat Challenger to pruney auto body after a minor accident. 3 weeks later I was told the car was finished. I arrived at the office/lobby the next day to pick up the car at which time an employee came in to the office and stated "hey I shouldn't be telling you this but they screwed up your car" Several minutes later the owner by the name of Dennyarrived in the office and requested payment before I viewed the vehicle. I respectfully declined and asked to see the vehicle. Immediately when viewing the vehicle I seen several problems I called these problems to the owner's attention at which time all he did was dropped f-bombs. please keep in mind this is a brand new car with a little over 1,000 mi on it that I paid nearly $70,000 for. After pissing and moaning he told me to pick it up the following Monday. I arrived on Monday and nothing was corrected. on my lawyers advice I simply paid the bill and took the car to the nearest Dodge dealership. I provided Denny the owner with photographs of all the issues as well as the quote from the Dodge dealership to correct the issues such as damage to moldings that we're not damaged in the accident they were damaged during disassembly and reassembly The color that they painted the panels did not match the original color of the car The door panel was damaged during the process They were masking tape lines inside the door jamb, definitely amateur hour There are thousands and thousands of scratches in the panels that they worked on There are still a dent in the front bundle. There's a huge gash in the lower rocker panel All of the weather stripping and moldings were damaged it looks like they were hit with some type of orbital sander the door was put back together incorrectly and does not allow the window to close correctly The wheel sensor light is on saying that there's something wrong and need servicing The rear interior cover panel is broken they broke the clips when taking out the rear window I can go on and on and on but long story short to correct the issues is costing me over $3,000 When I said the photographs to the owner and text message he straight out told me he was not going to do anything about it I'm not sure if I can post pictures on this review but if I can I will be sure to. I am very selective about writing reviews on Yelp. Historically I have written mostly positive reviews for businesses. I usually give people, especially businesses, the benefit of the doubt. Understandably so, fixing cars, especially auto body problems, can be a very difficult task that has a lot of moving parts to it. Body shops, insurance adjusters, rental car companies, etc. all have to communicate together to give the customer a truly satisfactory experience. With that being said, there is no explanation for the way Mr. Pruni (senior) treated me. I have never met a more eccentrically arrogant person in my life. He struts around his office in a suit and treats his employees, customers, and business partners as if everyone is doing him a favor by being in his presence. After doing some asking around I heard a rumor that they got busted for insurance fraud. Although this is just a rumor, I did some more digging and discovered a plethora of negative reviews from customers across a bunch of different platforms. We are visiting family from out of town. I have 2 young kids and a dirty car and we decided to get the car cleaned while in town for Christmas. We went here for an estimate and were met with rudeness and unprofessionalism. The man looked at my car and commented on how it appeared I hadn't cleaned it in 5 years. Yes, the car is dirty as I have 2 young kids, but the car was fully detailed a year ago. Regardless, it was the abrupt rude attitude I was struck by. Our family here will share this experience with others and I hope no one else has to have this insulting experience when there are other good detailing options in town. read more

Stopped by when I saw their sign advertising auto detailing. After looking my car over Denny gave me a price that was competitive with others I saw advertised. Setting up the appointment was easy and there was no long wait. When I picked up my car I did a complete inspection and was very impressed. The work they did was excellent. Complete detailing including the engine. I will be returning here the next time I need detailing. read more

I took my car to this body shop to have some scratches buffed out of the hood and trunk. They told me they could fix it. They kept the car for about 3 weeks, but I didn't complain. When I finally went to pick it up, it was an overcast day - no sun at all. They scratches were gone, and the car looked ok. The car had a dent in the quarter panel that wasn't there. They had a "dent guy" come in to fix it. (I can still see it at an angle, but again I didn't make a fuss about it). On a sunny day, I pulled the car out of the garage (this car isn't my daily driver) and the swirl marks are numerous. The entire trunk and hood have buff marks and swirl marks all over them. It looks awful - like it was buffed by someone who has never buffed a car before. I called Pruni, and they told me that I need to put 10 coats of hand glaze on the car to remove them. I didn't realize that after paying 500 dollars to have a car buffed, that swirls would be there and be my responsibility to remove. I took the car down there again today in the sun to have him look at it, and I was told that I must have let someone else touch the car since then, and he told me this would happen. WHAT??? NOBODY ELSE TOUCHED THE CAR!!! If I was told the car would be full of swirl marks, I wouldn't have paid the bill and accepted it!!! HE THEN GOT LOUD WITH ME AND WALKED AWAY. I told him this is not a $500 buff job, but he just kept walking. He did not care, he was already paid. Now I have to pay someone else to do the job that they couldn't. Apparently, this is the customer service that you can expect at Pruni Auto Body. If you choose to go there, buy lots of hand glaze to finish your car yourself! I would never recommend this place to anyone! read more
