Nice large room, seems very clean. The pho came out quick and portions were large. Flavorful and filling. Nice place

overall the food is good. I prefer other spots for Vietnamese food in Richmond but this place is not that bad. Restaurant is clean and well decorated. Unfortunately, the service was super slow since there was only one server taking care of all the tables. He was super nice but I could tell he was overwhelmed. Maybe restaurant was down a few servers and I just caught them at a bad time.

Bff and I caught up here and it was so good! The parking lot want that full, but I can imagine it getting pretty full easily, so I'm glad it wasn't. The server was at the host stand when we got there, very friendly, and we are one of maybe 4 or 5 tables with guests. Bff got a noodle soup dish she remembered but wasn't on the menu, and the server recognized it when she described it. My appetizer plate and her noodle soup dish were delicious, very yummy! I'm bout the biggest fan of Vietnamese good, but the appetizers were spot on asmr bff enjoyed her soup thing!

Food was delicious. Loved the shrimp wontons! They were super full of shrimp and surprisingly really filling. The pho, wonton soup, and Thai tea were great too! Clean and spacious. Service was kind of slow. Otherwise great!

Tay-Ho is a nice option for pho. They have plenty of seating, which makes it easy for big groups. The service is always friendly and prompt. My go-to's are the cha gio and pho tai.

This was my second time coming here (first time was about 4-5 years ago), and my favorite part of the restaurant is the wide variety of food items to try. The food is also very reasonable price and the place does not skimp out on quality and quantity. Most viet places have pho as their main dish but we especially loved the C1 grilled barbecue pork and M1 Vietnamese beef stew. My mom loves to make the wraps in C1, and for $14, it was very worth it. I got the P3; the broth was strong and flavorful. I think the flank steak and brisket were chewier than usual, so maybe they were cooked for too long and then added to the pho bowl. I was a bit disappointed with M10 because the broth was not as flavorful as I hoped. It was a clean, colorless broth, but even those can still have a good flavor profile. It also just came with shrimp, fish balls, and pork-- which I think is a bit basic. Surprisingly, I quite liked M1 Vietnamese beef stew because the soup was strong and thick and the beef chunks were nice, soft, and unexpectedly big. Still, the meat tore away very easily, and the dish was not spicy at all (maybe just a little bit oily). The ambiance was quiet and dim when we came in. There were no lights on except the blinding lighting from outside. I'm not a fan of places that use really dim lighting because it's hard to see and doesn't create a warm restaurant environment. The environment was clean and decorated in a minimal modern way. Most decor was plants and nice lights that hung from the ceiling. Parking is very easy to find and there are plenty of spots of pick from. I have mixed opinions on the customer service. We were greeted quickly and he sat us at a booth. My only issue with the booth was that is was sopping wet and wasn't dried at all, not even a weak attempt to dry it. The food service itself was fast, and I felt like the two staff members were rushing when taking our orders and distributing utensils and food. Perhaps we just came at a bad time and they were in the middle of dinner prep. I'd probably come back again for some more pho though.

Stopped by here because our favorite Thai restaurant was closed. We figured Vietnamese was close enough! We both ordered soups and my wife also ordered an appetizer as the main course. The soups were very good, although I think they use a little too much cilantro. I ordered a clay pot chicken dish. It was quite good, but it took a long time to come out of the kitchen. On the same token, the server brought my wife's main course along with the appetizer. Overall, it is a solid restaurant. Need to staff up a little bit more so that the one person isn't having to manage the entire dining room. My only real issue with the place was the service, but I think with an additional server it would've made a big difference.

Really enjoyed the food here. The pho broth is a little sweeter than I'm used to but still good. The bowls our pho was served in was so old they almost looked dirty. I don't think they were because this restaurant is extremely clean

We got the dolsat bibimbap and I always say the stone bowl is absolutely worth the extra money. The best part is always the crispy rice. Tteokbokki Having a vegan option without seafood was a great find. Most of the time the sauces have shellfish in them and I don't have the patience to make it from scratch. The noodles were cooked perfectly and they give you two vegetable dumplings on top. The sauce was nice and spicy without being too overwhelming. Kimchi pancakes: wish they had a bit more kimchi in them than the batter, but still good. Japchae with tofu, nice and almost beefy tasting. The black pepper was a nice punch. Korean fried tofu so nice and crispy with a really good sauce. I have been missing KFC since I turned vegan and good to know they have a good substitute for it. Service A good sized family run place where you can sit down or get take out. You order at the counter and they have a screen or you can be like us and take their paper menu to a table. A few four sized tables and some smaller two seaters. There was plenty of take out and delivery while we were seated. The person at the front was super helpful and patient as we tried to figure out what to order. They seemed busy and did not stop for too long the entire time. They came to bring us things and check in on us. Please use reusable cups for dining in and not styrofoam cups though! They have reusable utensils which is nice. Ambiance It's a fast casual place, but in a little strip mall in the county. They have K-pop playing and a stream of music videos so I didn't mind.

And it's not dumbed down American Chinese at all. My husband and I both work from home so we get to go have lunch at area restaurants from time to time. We have our regular places and we order Peter Chang's for takeout sometimes, but when we were deciding where to eat and knowing we were short on time, I suggested Peter Chang. For our meal we ordered dumplings, which were amazing. The dipping sauce was to die for...I need to research it and try to make it. We also got the scallion pancake, which came with a curry dipping sauce. Also very good. For lunch there is a menu that is typical of Chinese restaurants where you get a choice of soup (I chose hot and sour) and rice (I chose white rice). For my main I selected hot and numbing chicken from the lunch menu. My husband got three pepper steak. We also got jasmine tea, although if you prefer an adult beverage they have a bar. The food was excellent, service was attentive but not overbearing. It was a great meal and we both have lots of leftovers. The restaurant can be a bit noisy because it's just a big open room, but it's okay. The table next to use was loud talkers with no inside voice, so I got to hear all about their trip to Charlottesville for a concert. Sounds like they had a good time. I wish people were more self-aware about the volume of their voices in public but maybe his ears were wrecked from the concert. P.S. When the food arrived, everything was perfectly cooked. The calamari was tender with a great texture, and the crab rangoon was crisp with amazing flavor. I went from I am not hungry to I could eat multiple plates of the same thing. We ended up staying for hours watching college football and mingling with some of the regulars. The atmosphere was relaxed and friendly and we genuinely had such fun conversation with people around us. We even heard from several folks that this place really comes alive during karaoke nights. Everything sounded good and everything I tried had excellent flavors. Prices are about what you'd expect. Tons of variety in sushi alone, but the menu is so huge that it can definitely be overwhelming. I'd recommend choosing one section and committing to choose from within it because it's very overwhelming otherwise. It's quite small inside, so you'll be very close to the table next to you. It's definitely not the place if you're bothered by close proximity to others or if you are uncomfortable conversing in close proximity to the strangers next to you. If you have any issues with strange people being near you, you may not be able to tolerate this place. I really loved the ceviche with the soy sauce, green onion, jalapeno and sesame seeds. It was very flavorful! This particular ceviche was in a different place on the menu. Just a heads-up, I had a great waiter who informed me that the tamago has gluten in the binder, so definitely bear that in mind if you have gluten issues, as opposed to simply reading the menu and judging by that. The Tina roll made gluten-free was delicious. Somehow, there's gluten in the spicy sauce so, unfortunately, that's part of the dish. I really would've enjoyed the spicy sauce on the sushi, but appreciated the waiter's forewarning that the spicy sauce has gluten so that I didn't get sick. As for service, it was exceptionally warm and welcoming staff, very genuine. The waiter was excellent, and he even gave a recommendation without waiting to be asked, which I love, and his recommendation for the soy-based ceviche was wonderful. It had a surprising and very much-appreciated bite from jalapenos. The more traditional ceviche had a clear sauce with sliced jalapenos, and that was good too. I love that this place isn't afraid of punchy spice. There are a number of spicy options, and they're never dumbed down to please everyone. The fish didn't taste quite as clean and fresh as I'm used to, but the flavors in all of the dishes were amazing! No one got sick or anything like that, but the flavor of the fish itself could've been better in that sense.
