    Tavern bubbles

Very intimate ambiance in this place! We both ordered cocktails and they were both amazing! The espresso martini was super smooth and the Tavern Bubbles had some fun dry ice action going on! My mom got the quesadillas and loved them! I got the Swiss mushroom chicken sandwich and it fell flat for me. No flavor in any bite which was sad. We also thought the fries were very small and mostly air but the thick ones were great dipped in ranch! The menu is fancy but a little small so I suggest looking ahead! But this place would be great for a date night!

One of the best cinnamon rolls in Omaha. The cream cheese frosting has a hint of lemon! The sunrise waffle was loaded with fresh fruit! Also comes with a side. The ice cream battered French toast was also a hit. I had the T180 classic. Although the eggs were fluffy and the potatoes chunky and cooked well the fresh vegetables had a propane taste that made them inedible and infused that odd taste with everything it touched. I've had them before with dinner and have not had this taste before. Note to self order the bacon next time instead of the veggies with breakfast. To their credit they did deduct $5 off the meal which was appreciated.

We had a good meal at Tavern 180 which we ended up at because I needed to use a gift card. Service was nice and the place was moderately busy, but I wasn't super excited about the food though it was definitely OK and just might not have been to my particular taste. Kids definitely seemed to like it just fine and there was a cool vibe. Ultimately, I think the thing I like the most was the seafood bisque.

Tavern 180 is a staple for us and frequently stop for good food and service. The French dip is a great sandwich as is the Wagyu burger! Comfortable atmosphere which can get a bit loud on a busy day but that is to be expected.

Came for the brunch menu...on a Saturday late morning. We had a large party and a reservation so we were sat in the "party room" area and it wasn't super busy so we had the space to ourselves. I can see this being a good spot for a small gathering of sorts. Server was okay, nothing stood out just the normal expectation of a waitstaff. So, bottomless mimosas AND coffee...I went with the caramel coffee (hot) and Starbies who? No, because why was it the best coffee (in a restaurant) that I've had. There were a variety of drinks and everyone liked them, but the bartender did seem to have a heavy pour, which might be sweet on a Friday night, but a little much for bunch. The food was decent, I had French toast with a side of bacon and french fries. YES, fries...that's my business. It was good, bacon was cooked nicely and the French toast was a nice thick brioche that was fluffy and filling. The serving size was good for the price point and I wouldn't mind going beck to try the dinner menu, BUT i'm not jumping at the opportunity if you get what I mean. It was okay and a good option if you are in the area already, but not drive out of your way type option. Side note...the salad pictured is to show portion sizes. I didn't actually eat that...but the person who did said it was good and they enjoyed it.

Great place upscale atmosphere food is amazing and the drinks are custom-made. I'll come back every time. I travel to Omaha.

I've been here a lot and love this place. Most every dish I've tried is amazing but I especially like their espresso martini, and their cinnamon roll which actually comes with enough frosting! My work party was held in the back room and we have great food and very friendly service, they treated us well and were very personable! Overall a great spot with plenty of versatility in their menu, and quality to match it!

Tavern 180 is a go-to spot for us! I love their fun, creative drinks. Most recently I ordered the Tavern bubbles, and the addition of dry ice was a really cool touch. My boyfriend had the french dip, which is said was phenomenal. I had the thai chicken flatbread, which was also spot on. I've visited here for brunch previously, and I was really impressed with my meal at that time, as well. This is a solid spot, and I would pick it over nearby Pitch any day of the week!

Good location off 180th West Dodge St. We sat belly up at the bar to order Happy Hour drinks & flatbreads! They have a nice selection of different items at reasonable prices! We were greeted right away by the bartender & he was quick to take our orders. The bar wasn't completely full, so noise level was down compared to other times I've been here. I started with a refreshing Moscow Mule & Thai peanut chicken flatbread, which is my favorite because the sweet Thai sauce with the chicken is Amazing! They really know how to cook the flatbreads to perfection here! Service was quick & as always friendly. They came back to check on us so we never went without. Great place to meet a friend or have date night!

    Breakfast Burrito
    Amanda R.

I have heard a lot of things about this place so I had very high hopes but sadly it disappointed me... Service was not great, the waitress was just passing by every time she stopped by, and it felt like they took a long time to get our food. However, it was nice that we were able to get a table in 15 min instead of 30 min as they originally told us. The food was nothing out of this world, the burrito felt like something was missing, it didn't have enough flavor... The French toast was probably the better choice on this one. The mimosas on the other hand, were very good! I would come back here to get some drinks but would not recommend it if you are craving some good brunch food and service. I updated my review to one start because I was sick for the next couple of days and could not eat anything. I am assuming that the food had something that did not sit well with my stomached since it was the only thing I ate that day...

We stumbled upon Tavern 180 on Easter morning after staying at a nearby hotel, and were so happy when they had space for us without a reservation! Thank you Daija for your incredibly upbeat service and kindness, especially on a holiday! You blew us away with your happiness and excellent service! We (one of us) ordered the bottomless mimosas, bottomless brew (coffee) and the breakfast flatbread along with a eggs benedict and the amazing strawberry strudel. I loved how there were multiple choices for the juices of the bottomless mimosas and the serving size was huge, so you were never waiting long for a refill! The only awkward part about this place is getting in, and getting seated. We walked in the left door (as that is where it appears you should -- we watched other people do the same) and were confused about why the host stand was on the opposite side of the restaurant. Turns out we came in the wrong door, were led to the host stand and then all the way back to the door closest to where we walked in... sorta awkward welcome.

I'm also not sure what our "Universal Service Fee" was for, but wasn't an outrageous fee. We paid cash trying to avoid the extra fees. In all, it's a good spot as long as you get to chat with your party and not have unintended visitors from neighboring tables.

We made a reservation for New Year's Eve, which probably affected service, but the restaurant should be prepared for this. They seemed to only have two servers for the entire restaurant, which is not small. Our waiter was friendly and nearly running from table to table, but he had a lot of ground to cover. I ordered the NYE special, which came with a cluster of snow crab legs, a salad, a scallop dish, and a dessert. The crab legs were good, but of course, messy. A wet wipe would have been nice. The salad came out without dressing, but was good once that was corrected, although small for the price. The scallops were served with Brussel's sprouts, pickled radish, and kohlrabi in a sauce. An interesting mix with good flavor, but it only came with four medium sized scallops for $39. My dining companion ordered the whiskey salmon, which had a nice glaze, and some interesting sides, but the fish itself wasn't great. Not very flavorful and a touch dry. Dessert ended up being some coconut chocolate balls and sugar cookies. Similar to the Christmas cookie plates that we've had on the counter for the past several weeks. The Russian tea cakes promised on the menu were nowhere to be seen. Pretty disappointing. We had some nice takeout from here last year and thought it would be even better in the restaurant. Located just north of Dodge at 108th St., the restaurant is conveniently situated with a large parking lot and plenty of space for easy access. The restaurant takes reservations, but I had no challenge arriving mid afternoon for my first visit. I was pleasantly greeted and quickly seated. I was presented a fabulous menu plus specials, which made a hard decision even harder. Offering New England fare, I cannot recall since my childhood on the East Coast, where I saw clam strips on the menu, let alone freshly prepared on site. Cooked to perfection and offering a delightful twist, as the clam strips were served with traditional tartar and Chinese sweet-and-sour sauce. I was offered a complementary taste of their cornbread, prepared by the in-house pastry chef, which was by far the best cornbread I've ever enjoyed. The Portuguese fish stew offered a fabulous Bouillabaisse with plenty of muscles, shrimp, and clams as well as chorizo to fill me up! A full bar, plenty of beers on tap, and a lovely wine list offers great pairings with all the menu items. With their anniversary celebration, there will be specials offered, keep your eyes peeled on their website for menu items and wine offerings through the end of the month. I cannot say enough about this restaurant other than I will be back! I encourage you to check out the best of Omaha, or simply the best, at the Sand Point ASAP!
