Everything we ordered was great, but we were definitely made to feel like the least important table in a not full restaurant. We waited an hour to get our order during brunch. As a table of five, we were repeatedly told it was very busy and the kitchen was backed up with large parties but any of the groups that were bigger than ours arrived after us. I enjoyed my everything Benedict, but mostly my Bloody Mary stole the show. It's out of the way for us, so I don't know when we would come back to try it again, but overall a decent experience, just pretty lackluster service.

Had an amazing time at Salted Edge with my friends for dinner. Made a reservation online for the Chef's table and it was awesome to see the food come out and be prepared! We also had a gluten free friend with us and they did so well accommodating with her food needs! Obsessed with the bread board and everything else was fabulous!!

We have been here before and I have given a previous review but I never ordered the bread service previously. All I can say is that the food is delicious and the bread service the best in Omaha! Be prepared for a big bill.

We had the best dinner! Our server, Kindle, was amazing and since it was our first time there she explained the food and provided info on the Chef. Everything we ordered was on point! We had the bread board, Brussel sprouts, coffee rubbed wagyu, halibut (the special that night) and crème brûlée. I'd highly recommend going. We have such a hard time finding a place that combines both great service with outstanding food, so happy to finally find the spot that delivers both. We can't wait to go back.

We have been wanting to try Salted Edge for a while, and we finally got around to it! To start, the location is very nice. Everything is so clean and bright, and the service from everyone from the host to our server was fantastic. We started with the bread board and Brussels. Honestly, these are both must haves in my book! The bread seemed pricey, but you get a ton of it along with several unique and delicious butters. The Brussels sat on a bed of apples and had an incredible peanut sauce on them. My burger and fries were very good. My husband had the short rib. The short ribs was fall-apart tender, and the jalepeno potato cake it sat on may have been the best part of the meal. I'm excited to go back and try more!

My friend treated me to Salted Edge for my 40th birthday. We started with a few drinks, which were all fancy and delicious. For our meals, I ordered the Wagyu Bolognese ($30), and my friend had the Braised Short Rib ($39). We also shared the Herb Butter Buns ($8), which were fabulous--hot, soft, and served with whipped butter and flaked sea salt. Pure perfection. Unfortunately, the entrees were disappointing. Salted Edge is definitely more of a "treat" for us given the price, and we were both excited to try Chef Joel Hassanali's creations. With his background--growing up in Trinidad, working in his parents' Caribbean restaurant, and training under world-renowned chefs in NYC--we were expecting bold flavors and spice. Instead, both dishes were surprisingly bland. Her short rib, which comes with a jalapeño potato cake, Bloomsdale creamy spinach, and horseradish crumble, lacked the punch we were hoping for. The ambiance is lovely, the staff attentive and polished, and everything looks beautiful. The pasta was freshly made, the meat tender, and the presentation impressive. But for those of us who don't get to splurge on fine dining often, the food didn't deliver the wow factor we expected. Overall, it was an elegant experience, but I'm in no rush to return.

Salted Edge never disappoints! We love their pizzas but also have enjoyed their steaks, bread boards and every app is delicious! They're too difficult to choose from. We like to go every year for our anniversary but it's a treat when we can get out there more often. The patio is a perfect view but the inside seating is lovely too. We've always had a great experience with their service.

We came back for Valentine's Day and man they did not disappoint! They have a deal for a Prixe fixe menu and it was perfection. Out of the 3 apps we chose the short rib aranchini and cacio e pepe. Shared a 32oz porter house steak with crab legs, potato puree and carrots as sides and chose their crème brûlée as our dessert. It also came with a chefs app and a prosecco. The food was so rich and indulgent. It was the perfect Valentine's Day selection. We already talked about coming back next year!

We went for brunch and it was absolutely delicious. We shared the deviled eggs. I had the short rib hash skillet which was perfect. My dad said it was the best chicken and waffles he had ever had! Pictures show how perfect this elevated healthy and delicious the food here is. The service was phenomenal and our server Clayton was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful and modern. Also appreciated we could hear each other.

Dinner at the salted edge was just as good as brunch and just as abundant... If you want to try all the things, like I do, I would recommend taking a good dining companion who is willing to share because we had all the breads and all the things and also all the leftovers! If you're planning to dine at sunset, maybe consider where you are seated because there can be a lot of light coming in through the windows but also apparently the outdoor experience is great for sunset though I haven't experienced that yet myself. Service is always so friendly and I can't wait to come back again!

I've been here multiple times and enjoyed the meals. Salted Edge has a sophisticated but welcoming ambience with a somewhat older crowd. Beautiful place to watch the sunset and they have a bar with heated seating on the patio. We went for HH recently and enjoyed the chicken wings (great value!) and some regular priced salads. The house wines I tried were just so so, I'd go with a cocktail next time.

I really enjoy this place. The service presentation is solid. Wait staff seems to have a handle on the menu and ingredients. They do a good job of talking about menu changes and upcoming culinary changes. The bread plate is a must! A creative variety of baked items including flavorful butters. I've been about a half dozen times and there's no loser on the menu from what I've experienced. Plating creativity and portions are solid. If the weather is nice I suggest trying to sit outside. Definitely in the top 30 Omaha area restaurants!

This is a great happy hour place! HH runs Tue-Fri 4-6 pm. We arrived at 4:30 and were they're only customers. It was a windy warmish fall day but decided to sit outside on the patio. The patio is amazing! Glass windbreak panels block most of the wind and the 2 large gas firepits and several large portable heaters made sitting on the couches so cozy. The view of Westshores lake can't be beat. We chose to have the house wine but there is a tempting list of cocktails to try. We didn't try any food this time and thisisn't your typical bar food menu either. We have eaten dinner here before and it was fantastic so I'm sure these appetizers are nothing less. We left at 5:30 and the bar was pretty busy which was good to see. IMO this is one of the best happy hours with a great view. Will be back soon!

Next stop: Piezon's Pizzeria a neighborhood stronghold with a robust menu that offers plenty of choices without feeling overwhelming. For this session, I picked up: One slice of the Oh Mio Dio One slice of the Mahalo with jalapeños The standout of the encounter was the Oh Mio Dio. The combination of fiery chicken and cream cheese landed exactly where I like my pizza builds to be--bringing the perfect balance of heat and coolness in every bite. The Mahalo took a different path. Built with Canadian bacon, pineapple, and cream cheese, it already offers a unique take on a Hawaiian-style pizza. Adding jalapeños gave it just enough kick to complement the sweet and savory flavors without overwhelming them. I can see why it's my wife's favorite. The menu itself deserves credit. There's a lot to choose from, but it never feels complicated. Whether you're a seasoned adventurer or a first-time visitor, finding your next slice feels straightforward. What stuck with me most, though, was the atmosphere. The walls are filled with stories and adventures drawn by kids, while pizza trays signed by Husker fans cover the space with messages and memories. Everywhere you look, there's evidence that people care about this place and that this place cares about its community.
