I understand that employees want to leave at 10PM when the store closes, so I'm very concerned/confused as to why they would only have 2 cash registers open with 15+ customers waiting in each line. We waited for 15 minutes as we got in like at 9:45PM, when we got to the register Rosa said she didn't think she could ring our bottle of wine because it was past 10. Absolutely NO customer service by even just offering to ask her manager if something could be done, apologizing for the wait (which is why she couldn't ring it) and just stared at us as there was a long line behind us. This is beyond the point of buying a bottle of wine but more so the lack of customer service skills that Rosa does not possess. I truly hope this is a learning opportunity for target employees. read more

Target - Good ole switch and bait... - Department Stores Near Me - Westminster, California

Came here late night a while ago for a some groceries and some beer. I was informed by the manager, I think her name is Mary, that they can't sell any alcohol past 10 pm. I was obviously heartbroken and was halfway to put it back in the fridge but Mary offered to do so even though she was busy closing. She was super nice and even tho I didn't get my beer she made sure we were happy with everything else. Kady(?), our cashier, was great too! Target is a bully! They tricked me! I purchased both grocery and printer papers together and paid a portion with gift card and the rest with my cc! When I returned the printer paper they gave me gift card credit instead of refunding my credit card back! They said I need to learn my lesson and use my gift card to pay for grocery 1st and don't combine payment like that in the future! That's just bs! I'm very disappointed on the big company like this bullying people on their hard earned money like that! Shame on them!! read more

My rating for Target has decreased since they added their grocery department. I stood in a long line to purchase my non-food items behind peeps buying frozen foods and bananas. The cashier was in no hurry to check anyone out in a timely manner. I think I aged 2 years while waiting in line, lol. Target needs to keep the check out lines moving. This two story Target with a cart escalator is the biggest Target, besides the Irvine Spectrum store, that I have been to. The grocery section has great prices which makes one stop shopping convenient. Because of the large size of the store, this location carries a larger variety of items that you would not normally find in a regular Target store especially holiday-related items. I was skeptical about using this Target because of its location in a mall and the parking, but it has not really been too bad. This store is well stocked and clean and neat. The main cash register area is on the bottom floor but during busier times, the upper cash register area is manned by staff also. It is nice to have a Target in the mall, so I can do the shopping I need to do at the mall and also my Target shopping at the same time. read more

Every single Target automatically deserves 5 stars because it is Target. Stars shall be deducted as needed depending on that specific store itself. However, this Target located at Westminster Mall is one of my favorite Targets to go to in my area. I literally go here when I have nothing to do just to browse around and I'll still find things to look at/buy. It's weird because I'd go often enough where nothing in the store really changes, except it totally does because every trip is different.. lol First off, this Target has a Starbucks. Bonus points! A lot of Targets have Starbucks in them now actually, but not all of them. Secondly, two stories of Target goodness!! Now I totally understand that that just means that this Target is on a smaller square feet area and is just built up, because the inventory should all be quite similar between all other Targets. But you gotta admit that anything two stories is just more awesome, hehehe. This Target is always clean. Everything is in it's place where it belongs. I hate going to cluttered Targets, or any store for that matter. I love that it's connected to the mall, even though this mall sucks... But it's very nice and convenient when I need to go into the mall. It's funny because on the rare occasions that I actually do need to go into Westminster Mall, I'd park in the Target parking area downstairs and actually walk through Target to get into the actual mall itself. I seriously do not know why, but I ALWAYS do it. Parking here is easy; I always get close parking and never have to wait forever to find a parking spot. Even the 'far' parking isn't even that far, but then again that depends on your own definition of 'far', lol Here's a story about their customer service that I'd gladly share! I've recently remodeled my room &I saw these ottomans online that I liked, except for some reason, it doesn't ship home and I would only have been able to buy/pick up in store. I called here to look if they had any in stock and the guy I spoke to on the phone was so patient and helpful. I literally could hear him opening up the boxes in the inventory warehouse over the phone as he was looking for the grey colored ottoman that I wanted. I asked to put 4 on hold until I could come. When I got there, another guy helped me out and got the 4 boxes out for me. I ended up only getting two ottomans because I changed my mind on how many I had wanted. He was super nice and asked if I wanted to keep the boxes. There was no point in me keeping them, so he removed them for me when my boyfriend and I totally could've done it ourselves. They were still wrapped in the plastic bag that it comes in so I didn't get a close look at the ottoman until after I paid, which was when I saw that one of the ottoman's lid was a different color tone than the rest of the ottoman's color. So instead of exiting, I went over to customer service and showed the guy at the counter the difference in color between the lid and the ottoman. He then called for someone in the back to get me a new one right away and was very friendly about it. I apologized multiple time for being so anal but I wanted my room to have matching color ottomans.. lol He was so nice about it, telling me to not worry about it at all. When someone brought another one down, he took a look at it himself and whilst handing it over, he showed me that this new one is the same color, however has a little ding on the side corner. I honestly wouldn't even had noticed it, but because he pointed it out, I saw it. He then offered me a discount if I got this one because of the ding, which to be honest, wasn't even a big deal so that was super nice of him, or he could ask if they could bring down another one for me again. I felt so bad, but said that if it wasn't too much of a hassle, that'd be great because why get a dinged up one if I can get a perfect one.. So again, I waited. I sat on the side and while waiting, I heard him say into his walkie to check the boxes and get the most perfect one because the first one had a different shade lid and the second one had a ding. This was a super pleasant thing to hear. It's the extra effort that really makes such a huge difference because please, tell me where I can always get customer service that good!! Third one's a charm, as the third ottoman that came down literally was perfect. He did the switch for me and off I went. All that he went through to get that one for me was really amazing. I mean, to be honest, he just told someone to do it from his walkie, but forreal though, not everyone would've gone through all of that just for me to get a "perfect" one you know? I just really appreciate all the extra details from noticing the different shade, to offering a discount, to getting me a perfect one! I seriously love this Target!! read more

I love Target in general, but if I knew this two story location wasn't all picked over and messy like some their other locations, I would have made it a point to shop this store at the mall more often. Why is it so nice? No curb appeal from the 405 freeway, so only locals and people 'in the know' shop here. That and their almost fully automated bathroom. Yup. Toilet, water faucet and hand dryer. Genuinely annoyed with this target my friend dropped a Lego box on the floor and put it back on the shelf no problem. Then a worker came up to us and yelled at us that if we do it again we will be kicked out my friend said it was just an accident. Then the worker called security and had us escorted out. Oh target, you. I always come out with more than I need. Y U DO THAT TO ME?? It's so big-- two stories high with escalators. I just wonder around here for hours sometimes. They just installed a grocery section, which has freezers with lights that turns on when you walk by. OOoooooo....ahhhhh..the food are so neatly package. They always have unbelievable clearance items!! I found a bubble umbrella for only $4 once, brand new because it was an "online item". I was SO HAPPY. Return policy is pretty good. 90 days. They don't really ask questions. I always make a stop at the food center & starbucks on the way out. :) I love target. read more

Target!!! I don't know what it is about this place but I'm always walking out with more than I intended for. I love this Target because of it's location, how clean it is, and how big it is! It's located in the Westminster Mall and has TWO stories! You did us well, Target Gods. This location is extremely convenient for me since it's two minutes away from home. It's also very dangerous because I always want to make a "quick trip" to Target to "look around." Who am I kidding? Parking isn't that much of a nightmare but it can be hard to find if you're trying to find a spot close to the Target. From the moment that you walk in, past those classic Target balls, you're instantly drawn into Target. I feel like this location has better lighting and feels more welcoming -- it's an odd thing to pay attention to, but in comparison with other Targets, this one just feels better to me. There's also a mini Starbucks that is located to the right, just in case you wanted to sip on that latte or frappuccino while perusing through the aisles. To your left, there's the return/customer service area and personal printing for your photos. They also have a Chase ATM available. It's usually very clean and well kept here. The beauty section just got a whole new make over so there's beautiful lighting there... I wish I could get that for my home. The aisles are well kept and things are usually in their proper place. The "clearance section" at the end of the aisles can be a clutter but it's the clearance section. This Target also has a grocery section so that you can kill two birds with one stone. There's fresh fruit available and plenty of freezer/refrigerated sections available. It's not too hard to find your way around to what you want, ahem.. what you need, here. The staff is usually pretty helpful and attentive, just in case you needed some assistance. Tip! Since everyone everywhere is beginning to charge you for plastic bags, I'd recommend purchasing the reusable Target bags for .99¢ and receive a little discount (like .05¢) off your next purchase. Awesome 2 story target! The staff is very helpful and everything is well organized and sectioned properly. To top things off, this location has an entrance to the mall on the second floor. I come here at least twice a week. I come for one thing and walk out with 10. When it comes to Target vs. Walmart, im #TEAMTARGET. I rather pay the extra cents for the better shopping experience. Target has it all, from fresh fruits to the coolest technology gadgets. This target also has a cool clothing section for both men and woman. I enjoy buying pajamas and tee's from targets and this locations has a wide variety. Overall, always a fun experience to just walk around Target with my GF. We always buy the most random things. What's better than a Target? A NEW Target! A 2-story Target too! It has that cool escalator thing where you ride the escalator and your cart has an escalator of its own and meets you at the top! New carts of course where you dont have to push the cart to the left all the time because of a broken wheel like you do with an old car with bad alignment. Bright and clean. Closer for people who don't live near that Target on Beach. Parking can be a bit of a bind on crowded days but it has it's own little parking lot separate from the rest of the mall. read more

I LOVE Target. I've loved Target since before it was the cool Target that it is today. Not only is this two-stoy-giantness of Target goodness a superstore (they carry groceries), they're also ATTACHED to the mall! Albeit, it's the Westminster Mall, but it's a mall none the less. In all honesty, I love Target (obviously), and I love this store b/c it's huge and usually has what I need, but I'm giving the place only 2 stars because customer service here is appalling. I know my review won't stop ppl from shopping here, but maybe it will reach someone at the store or corporate (fat chance, but I'm still gonna vent). My mother is amazing. She was able to raise three kids with very minimal. One of her secrets is that she uses coupons. As a kid I was embarrassed every time she busted out with her coupon book. As an adult I am impressed at how much she is able to bring her total amount down with coupons. Unfortunately, the cashiers aren't impressed, in fact, most of the time they seem irritated that my mom is using her coupons. One girl gave my mom the worst attitude and treated us like we were below her for using coupons. Unfortunately, a manager could not be reached for me to express the anger that I felt towards this worker. I was so disappointed. There are signs everywhere encouraging the customer to use coupons. Apparently, this young lady was not trained to read those signs. I purposely seek out that cashier now, and have my mom bust out with her coupons just so I can see the exasperated look the cashier will give us. Ha ha. read more

Online shopping and same day home deliveries are a JOKE! Bought 6 items online and everything went well. Was charged for all items, until the person from the delivery service SHIPT (more like SHIT) picking the items, informed me that none of the items were not available in the store. Can you imagine, not even Zantac which I ordered. The person had to go to another store and buy it there. Meanwhile my credit card was charged $145.00. Next day I, NOT THEM, had to call and find out what happen to my order. Gave me the runaround and to call Target, the delivery service... with no solutions. I had to call Target headquarters to make a complaint. It wasn't it was then that I got my problem resolve. They will credit my bank in 5-7 business days. And they want to compete with Amazon? This is the best Target ever. We just moved from Orange and needed to get things for our new place. Yes, it has the escalator and yes it is the coolest thing ever. I haven't seen one since I lived in VA and it was great to see one again. The Target is clean, bright and has beautiful displays. I finally found a Target that actually carries everything that I see on the TV ads and the paper ads. Their home furnishings section is fabulous, highly recommended if you need to register at a Target. This is the place to do it. They also carry the best selection of cleaning products I have ever seen. The people are friendly and the aisles are wide enough for two carts most of the time. This is the only 2-story Target that I've been in and me no likey! I'm one of those shoppers who look at the ceiling signs that direct me where to go. When you're in a 2-story building, it's a little difficult to do that isn't it. Most Target floor plans are similar so you know which direction to walk in even if you don't know exactly where your beloved item is. Can't do that here. I walked in a circle and almost went upstairs for damn dog treats. The employee said it was on the other side of the wall from the general merchandise area. What he really meant is "walk to the furthest corner and it's by a wall". Targets that are attached to malls are not the most convenient places to shop. read more

Attention: there is a $70 limit when returning items without a receipt. If you're like me and lose papers easily, I would suggest always making your purchases with a card! They can track the receipt if you pay with a card. If paid with cash, no trace.. Which means over $70 no return. HOWEVER, if you ask nicely and go to this location, they'll let you exchange!! Woo! This target is always very organized. Employees are always asking if they can help me with anything (so great) The cart escalator is pretty awesome. Love this target. (Oh! This target has the worst customer service I have ever experience. I am very disappointed in my phone conversation with guest services. I had previously already called two other targets to find an item and I was transferred to this Westminster Mall location because they had 9 OF THIS ITEM IN STOCK! I had called to check if they had the item, NOT ONLY DID I WAIT ON THE PHONE FOR 20 MINUTES patiently waiting for them to check for this item...I had asked if I can put the item on hold or purchase over the phone for store pickup WITH MY TARGET RED CARD and they absolutely refused. I was transferred to guest services for them to explain to me as to why they cannot put this item on hold and the woman said,"well usually it means because they need to ship the item to the store in order for you to pick it up." I had responded with "I just spoke to someone who personally checked if the item was in your store and she said it was upstairs." And she said,"well there is nothing I can do. Just come to the store and get it yourself." I AM BEYOND UPSET!!! It makes me not even want to come to this store just to pick up this item if they're already rude and inconsiderate over the phone. I will not come to this target location. FYI I have always done my shopping at Target since 2010. I am a TARGET RED CARD holder. And my husband has worked at target as a Sales floor manager. read more

This is my local Target. I come here at least twice a week. It's always made me SMH when there are a few checkout lines a dozen people deep and a group of workers standing and talking. But today took the cake. I went at 8:00am due to needing to grab some items before work. When I went to checkout an entire cart full of items, there wasn't one checkout line open... but there was one person standing watching people self-checkout and about three people in the return department standing around. When I asked if there was a checkout line open, I was told no, you have to use self-checkout. I clearly wasn't happy having approximately 50 items to scan, but I begrudgingly started my task, as the newest Target cashier. As I was finishing my first shift as a Target cashier, the same girl who had told me I had to use self-checkout was now checking out a man and a woman whom each had 3-5 items. I understand that some of the cashiers don't want to be cashiers and would rather watch people check themselves out, but if I wanted a job as a Target cashier, I would apply. This seems to be an issue at this Target and this Target only. It often seems as though the monkeys run the circus at this Target. It's a shame, because overall, this is a great location. Their curbside service is one of the best. Management just seems to have an issue figuring out their checkout lines. I'm not a Target manager, but three people in returns who all have training as cashiers and a person watching the self-checkout lines who is also trained as a cashier, may be better assigned to improve the guest experience by not forcing someone to scan fifty items after shopping the entire store at 8:00am. read more

I think this location just has more of a selection of things? Who knows. I came into the store and the first employee was named Matthew (He was working the self check out). I asked where I could find coffee pots and he wasn't sure. He almost sent me the wrong way in the store. Stated that it could either be that side of the store or the other side. So I proceeded to walk down the main isle where there was another worker so I asked him. He told me right where to find them. When I got back to the self check out with my two items... (Matthew) said "they were right where I said they would be" ! I told him NO that I had to ask another worker and that he told me where I could find them. Matthew proceeded to tell me that he told me the area , I told him NO, started scanning my two item and he continued berating me. I said if you don't stop "I will just leave the store". He informed me that he would call security...I asked him for what?.. he said for the way I said that I would just leave the store. So he called for security... took my card out of the machine, left the two items on the scanner and walked out !.. What a flipping joke !.. So I went to Walmart and got my two items and five more on top of it. ! Shame on you Matthew from Target. WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN ! read more

The closing manager tonight was extremely rude and gave no customer service to my question. I simply asked for a reason to why I couldn't buy my mom her wine when I was in line before 9:55 they took so long ringing the previous person in line that I was cut off at 10:01. This is what a Target should be! I remember back when I saw them working on this Target and my mom reminds me that I told her it'd be a failure to have a Target at a mall. Boy was I wrong. This is one of the largest and cleanest Targets I've seen. The Target takes about the same ground area as the Irvine Spectrum Target, but this one has two stories. What happens is it basically takes whatever the other Targets have and doubles the variety in each section. The electronics section in the 2nd floor is pretty large, and it's fully stocked with so many different goodies that it's a techy's dream. The store is kept very clean and spotless, which is surprising considering it's part of a mall where many people from other stores or people with food from the food court would be walking inside here. The service is so-so, with a hit or miss on the employee you deal with. What I was surprised to see was how they go out of their way to make sure you are doing fine, even when they are obviously busy with other things. The parking and location of this store is pretty nice, but at busy times the parking can get crowded... like today. However, if you want to look for something at a Target, this is the one to go for in the OC area, because I think this one has the widest selection. read more

What not to like about this store. Parking is big. Store is huge. You can find anything here. There's Starbucks inside the store. So you can buy a cup of coffee and go shopping. It's nice and clean. Employees are friendly and helpful. If you not tired from all the shopping you can continue on and go straight into the mall, and keep on shopping. read more

This Target is big, a super target maybe...2 story, lots of stuff, well kept, but not particularly well organized or clearly laid out. Asked 2 different employees if they had paper towel holders, like the kind that mount under cabinets...one told me the wrong place, the other said he could ask on the walkie talkie, but they were gonna say 'kitchen' and if I didn't see them there, they probably dont carry them and did I check Sears. General apathy towards customer service makes for a less than stellar shopping experience. read more

This is my go to spot when my house runs low on snacks.... or Archer Farms products. Some may find this odd but I also buy dog food here..... It's cheap ^_^ Me and my buddies used to come here often during the summer when school was out and we'd visit the pharmacist named Chase. He's a Vietnamese guy with a super white* ahem* Caucasian name :) Low prices, great variety of products and the fact that I feel more dignified coming here rather than Walmart keeps me coming back :) read more
