Instead, I scooped up ten of the 109 yard skeins for $1.25 each and a couple skeins of the Crafter's Square yarn, also $1.25 and slightly more yardage (132). FYI, Crafter's Square suggests an 5mm/US 8/UK 6 knittingneedle and a 6mm/US J-10/UK 4 crochet hook but it's clearly a DK weight. Still a nice product, though. The store itself is clean with a lot of merchandise, but the aisles are difficult to navigate with the current setup. Also, not all of one category (like crafts) are found grouped together, so you'll need to hunt around. I liked the housewares and kitchen tools, good selection of summer items, gardening, bbq/partyware. You can definitely find inexpensive, nice gifts here if you need something fun at the last minute. One of the management team members, Sean, helped me today while simultaneously making sure other customers (guy buying balloons) got the service and attention they needed too. He was polite and efficient, which was great. I'd definitely shop in this location again. The parking lot is kind of a disaster, though, with short rows for spaces and drivers who bribed the people at DMV into giving them a license.

Hello Kitty, My Melody, Disney etc) On this purchase, the hubby got organizational items and I got kitty cat microfiber cleaning slippers for the restroom. There was a cashier and self check-out available along with the supervisor nearby. Both the cashier and supervisor were friendly. We opted to check-out with the cashier. Instead of trying to understand the situation or offer any helpful solution, the manager immediately approached me with an attitude and was rude from the start. What disappointed me most was that she refused to acknowledge that the missing receipt was caused by an employee's mistake, not mine. Rather than handling the situation professionally or showing any empathy, she made the entire interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. In the end, I had to settle for store credit because she was unwilling to work with me. A good manager should know how to de-escalate situations, listen to customers, and lead by example. Unfortunately, this manager did the opposite. Her communication, attitude, and overall approach to customer service left a very negative impression. I shop at TJ Maxx often, but after this experience at the Fountain Valley location, I'll think twice before returning. Manager position should be given to individuals who are highly trained in customer service not someone who just rolled out of the bed looking like she don't even wanna be there. Absolutely terrible.
