This TJMaxx has been here forever. I used to stop by here all the times but haven't been back for stages. Had some free time today so decided to check it out. Ended up buying 3 pairs of jeans. I saw them yesterday at Macys but they ran out of my size. I walked in here today and two up those styles were hanging right in the front area of the stores. In my size! It's meant to be, I thought, so I got them. The store is somewhat messy and not fully stocked. I used to like TJMaxx better than Marshalls but now I like Marshalls better because they seem to have much more inventory in designer clothing than TJMaxx. And they both are under the same parent company. TJMaxx is actually leaning more towards home goods stuff than clothing now. read more

This was by far the worst customer service experience I've had at a TJ Maxx. I came in to return a necklace that still had all of the original tags attached. I had paid in cash, but the cashier who originally helped me forgot to give me my receipt back. Instead of trying to understand the situation or offer any helpful solution, the manager immediately approached me with an attitude and was rude from the start. What disappointed me most was that she refused to acknowledge that the missing receipt was caused by an employee's mistake, not mine. Rather than handling the situation professionally or showing any empathy, she made the entire interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. In the end, I had to settle for store credit because she was unwilling to work with me. A good manager should know how to de-escalate situations, listen to customers, and lead by example. Unfortunately, this manager did the opposite. Her communication, attitude, and overall approach to customer service left a very negative impression. I shop at TJ Maxx often, but after this experience at the Fountain Valley location, I'll think twice before returning. Manager position should be given to individuals who are highly trained in customer service not someone who just rolled out of the bed looking like she don't even wanna be there. I'm not sure what management is doing here but they need to keep it up. I've been to a billion TJ Maxx stores and this is one of my favorites. Jamey F. helped my friend and I out at the jewelry counter. She was very patient and kind with all of her customers. We found a lot of clothes to try on and ended up taking most of the try ons, which is rare for me at TJ maxx bc most of the times it a hit or miss. This is easily one of my favorite TJ Maxx stores and I always come here when I'm in the area. It's one of the largest stores and they have a lot of great clearance items. Bedding and pet items are in the back right of the store and they have so many options. I have bought just about every type of item here. I was shocked it was that crowded on a Sunday night, I was looking for Neutrogena face cloth but all they had was Korean n Chinese brands so I bought them amazingly only $3.99!! The panties are all so lame made for 100 years old women. The best underwears were from Victoria secrets they used to be made in Israel but now made in China n not so comfortable . Why 5 stars? They have made in Italy shoes n bags, except for 2 pairs all my Italian shoes n bags were bought right here n tjmax online. Today I got very upset I just bought the UGG boots from Nordstrom rack for $99 n it's available here for $55 I have to look for a receipt to return, if I'm lucky the boots will be available at TJ, a lot of ifs. I have to be careful n keep receipts in the future. Nordstrom return policy is no longer generous. I'm exhausted from shopping! Shop till you drop by the way it seems the 42 million people that don't have their snap they are shopping here! lol read more

I love this TJ Maxx! It has a great cookware selection. I like to get my discounted All-Clad pots and pans here. Such a good deal. They also have very cute sandal heels, wedges, and mid-calf leather boots too. Also great selection of white Nike socks. Good deals and great service! read more

Dah da da da dah da da da Tjmaxx! I've been shopping here since those 90's commercials. I get the majority of my sheets, comforters, clothes, and candles at this chain. They'll have brands from Vera Wang, to Tommy Hilfiger at all affordable prices. Lots of interesting condiments and snack items too. Sometimes they have good shoes, but not every time. I do however always come across a good find. It's definitely always worth the trip. read more

We found some good stuff here. Came in for a men's t-shirt and left with a cart full of things hahahaha So, my boyfriend and I went to get his haircut at a local barbershop. Afterwards, he had little hairs all over his shirt and wanted a clean one for dinner. We stopped at the TJMaxx for that reason. While inside I found all kinds of things. I bought a new flat iron and blow dryer; some snacks and he grabbed a cool t-shirt. We found what we were looking for and then some here. The store was pretty organized and clean. It was easy to find what we were looking for and the line went fast. We were in and out and on our way to dinner in no time! I might go back and get a matching scary movie t-shirt lol I love my new hair straightener and blow dryer too! read more

Their holiday selections are excellent but you have to be careful that you get there early because they put the items out up to a month ahead of the holiday. it's been two times that i've gotten this horrible employee. i went today around 6 and this short rude latina with glasses employee. i went to try return a set of body oils and as im trying to return the item she believed the reason was not valid. is me not liking this body oils not enough? she destroyed the item telling me i can not return it. if your telling i can't return the item why would you destroy and open the box? does she think she's getting a raise? does she think she's the manager? is she the ceo? i've never had this problem anywhere. horrible customer service. read more

Honestly, super disappointed with TJ Maxx. I got charged an extra $12 for something I never even bought, the code on the receipt didn't match anything I had. Went back the next day, and the staff couldn't figure it out, but they still didn't do anything to help or fix it. That's just bad service. I grew up coming to this TJ Maxx, but yesterday I had the WORST experience. The fitting room ladies (2 older ladies) were EXTREMELY rude and were clearly concerned that my family and I were stealing. Idk if it was how we were dressed or what, but they had no problem with the people behind us. We felt eyes on us throughout the store. The store manager Jasmine is so incredibly thoughtful and kind. My senior mom was having issues and needed to sit and she rushed to grab her a chair. She went out of her way to make sure all our needs were taken care of, however the reason I am deducting two stars is because of how terrible I feel about not being able to take our cart to load our purchases nearby to my vehicle. This is entirely UNACCEPTABLE!!!! This makes shopping here completely out of the question. I also don't appreciate how this corporation donated to Project 2025. I expect these corporations to stay out of politics instead of suppressing human rights. HUGE disappointment. read more

I typically love TJ Maxx and usually find some decent things here. Service has never been an issue in the past. However, I was appalled by a particular employee yday. I was standing at the toy section when a female employee aggressively asked me "excuse me. Are you buying those?" As she points to some toys on the floor that are about 15 feet away from me. Assuming she was talking to someone else, I ignored her and she once again asks me about the toys on the floor. Once I realized she was addressing me I told her that I just got there and she said "well because someone was playing with those toys." I understand she may have been frustrated with the toys on the floor but very rude to accuse people and also being so aggressive about it. Later, I saw some Asian children pick the toys up so I guess she assumed all Asians look alike or that they're all related? Anyway, busy parking lot and there is a Ross and Five Below close by. Would recommend dropping by the plaza to check out these bargain stores. But beware of rude and disgruntled employees. read more

I enjoy shopping here frequently because of the selection and prices. I have had not had a bad experience until my last visit on Saturday, December 28. As I was shopping down an aisle at around 5:45pm a somewhat tall, male, a little bit chubbier than average, dark short hair, dark scruffy beard, light skinned, wearing a black athletic tee, black ear piece, high top shoes and dark joggers stared at women's chests as he walked by. The worst customer service ever. I purchased a pair of pants and long story short they told me I couldn't return them because " they couldn't find the item in their system" the manager REFUSED to speak to me the cashier Nallely thought it was funny for some reason and was completely unprofessional and clueless. Next to me guess what someone was trying to return an item and they told them the same exact thing. Both of us refused store credit demanded a refund and finally a store "Coordinator" overheard these situations and came over and took care of my refund apologized for the cashier's behavior and the manager's behavior and her refusing to speak to me. The most frustrating time consuming experience ever. This is ridiculous that this store is pulling this nonsense and refusing to abide by their return policy. But they have no problem making elderly or non English speaking customers apply for their nonsense credit card talking about "oh you'll get 10% off and it'll bring your total down this much you it's like a rewards program". Shame on this store & their horrible management. Stay away go elsewhere. read more

This TJMaxx location always have what I need compared to other stores. I don't travel often but when I do I like carrying light, if possible. And this location has a big selection of travel bags and accessories. Gym clothes is plenty here too. Got a nice yoga jacket for 15 bucks. Much more affordable than lululemon! Kitchen goods are fun to shop for too. Got a nice ceramic pan for 10 bucks. Good service at the register and she remembered to remove all security tags! read more

I went into the store looking for some jewelry. I was next to receive service. When asked who was next, the woman next to me shouted out and said that she was. The woman behind the jewelry counter looked at me and I said well I guess she is next... I was looking at silver jewelry the other woman was looking at the 14 kt gold. I guess sales are needed more than Customer Service. This store is going down fast. Don't think I will go back. A New Ross Store is opening just a few stores down. this is one of my favorite locations to shop at for the holidays. They have all the clothes on the rack that you're looking for. Many department stores like Ross and Burlington coat factory never have the clothes on the rack that you're looking for. Or the stuff that they have is completely out of season and something that you or your family would not want to wear. But this location does not have that problem. They have everything in an orderly fashion and it's super easy to find what you're looking for my kids and my husband enjoy coming to this location as well and that makes me super happy. My son even buys all of his school clothes at this location as well. My daughter just left for college and she stopped at this location before she left and stocked up on her wardrobe. they even sell chapstick at this location which makes it really easy for me to buy right when I'm checking out of the store read more
