They've been around for awhile and have their established sources for discounted items. The stuff they carry is truly unique in today's market. It's not the overstock merchandise you see from large retailers like Amazon. In fact, their business model has been probably around longer than Amazon's mega footprint. We need to keep these mom & pop stores! I needed a a poop bag holder for our dog's leash. They had several to choose from. I didn't expect to find high quality men's skincare products. Their pricing is a fraction of what you'd pay elsewhere. I stocked up! I bought a handful of other things too. These impulse purchases will come in handy. If you see something you want you have to buy it as they won't restock from the back and often it's a one or two of a kind item. Many items are amazon returns and store close outs - some name brand and some unknown or store brands. You often have to read the white tag on the box as they are taped shut. If you want to see something in a box just ask the staff, they generally will open it for you. I get many of my health products there - like antacids, cold/allergy, hair dye, and anti-aging skin care. Cleaning products and every kind of miscellaneous household good that you can imagine - it's there, or it was there last week! Food is a gamble - check the expiration dates. Check the prices online compare before you buy- most are great, but some are not - but that's part of the fun of the hunt at Wesco - finding the deals! Closed on Mondays - limited hours on Sunday.

Ended up buying 3 pairs of jeans. I saw them yesterday at Macys but they ran out of my size. I walked in here today and two up those styles were hanging right in the front area of the stores. In my size! It's meant to be, I thought, so I got them. The store is somewhat messy and not fully stocked. I used to like TJMaxx better than Marshalls but now I like Marshalls better because they seem to have much more inventory in designer clothing than TJMaxx. And they both are under the same parent company. TJMaxx is actually leaning more towards home goods stuff than clothing now.

I had paid in cash, but the cashier who originally helped me forgot to give me my receipt back. Instead of trying to understand the situation or offer any helpful solution, the manager immediately approached me with an attitude and was rude from the start. What disappointed me most was that she refused to acknowledge that the missing receipt was caused by an employee's mistake, not mine. Rather than handling the situation professionally or showing any empathy, she made the entire interaction unnecessarily unpleasant. In the end, I had to settle for store credit because she was unwilling to work with me. A good manager should know how to de-escalate situations, listen to customers, and lead by example. Unfortunately, this manager did the opposite. Her communication, attitude, and overall approach to customer service left a very negative impression. I shop at TJ Maxx often, but after this experience at the Fountain Valley location, I'll think twice before returning. Manager position should be given to individuals who are highly trained in customer service not someone who just rolled out of the bed looking like she don't even wanna be there. Absolutely terrible.
