Target runs, Target pickups, and honestly Target in general are a weekly must for me. This Target at Westminster Mall is a two story store, and once you're familiar with what's upstairs vs. downstairs, it makes a huge difference in how you park and shop. If I'm only grabbing a few things from the main (downstairs) floor, I'll park downstairs and be in and out. But if I'm doing a full shopping trip that requires both floors, I always park upstairs. In my experience, there's usually more parking up there, and it just makes everything easier. My personal system: park upstairs, grab a cart, go downstairs to start my shopping, then head back upstairs to finish, check out, and exit all on the top level. It saves time and avoids unnecessary back and forth. Just a little tip that's worked really well for me. I also want to shout out one employee who always helps check me out, she is seriously the sweetest. She's incredibly kind and patient whenever I'm price matching or price checking and never makes me feel rushed. I've dealt with other cashiers in the past who seemed irritated by price matching, so her attitude truly stands out. I didn't catch her name this time, but I know I'll see her again, and next time I do, I'll make sure to mention her by name here. She really goes above and beyond and is just so dope. Overall, this Target is clean, well organized, and pretty well stocked most of the time. The only real issue I notice is during Christmas, when things sell out quickly but that's kind of expected. Very clean and organized 2-story Target. They could use some additional signs by the elevator to spell out what's on the first and second floors, but eventually I found everything I needed. Quick trip for a Secret Santa gift and a couple things for the house. They have an extensive Christmas section including a couple aisles of just Holiday candy and edibles. Tesla supercharger on-site. This is is my go to store for everything, even groceries. Surprising some of the prices were cheaper than Amazon Fresh and cheaper then some of the grocery stores nearby. It's connected to the Westminster mall and Starbucks inside so it's your one stop shop kind of place. I charge my car at least twice a week so I come in and pick stuff up. This Target location seems to suffer from many one reviews that should reflect badly on the store director. The real issue with Target is they are never transparent. If you shop at Walmart, they have a picture of the actual store director. Here, they gave nothing, always leaving the public wondering. This store has allot of associates that are busy working collecting customers orders for pick up, and delivery. The associates seem less focused on helping customers. Walmart has improved this experience, while Target has started to fail at providing even the most basic service fir those customers walking into the store to shop. Many of the departments in this 2 level Target do not have any associates working, rather they are pulling orders and stocking some shelves. Yeah, this Target still gets a lot of bad reviews, but I still shop here often. I purchased some shoes here yesterday, and I like my Sketchers. Target is inside the mall, and usually I go to the Westminster location Target off of Brookhurst and Hazard. But simple parking during the week, and I can strand around the mall if I feel like. Just like any other parent with kids you always have to hit the bathroom. Welp unfortunately we had to with my boy and have to share that the bathroom Was worse than outside bathrooms. I really love coming to this target when I supercharge my Tesla. My daughter greatly enjoys the escalator up and down and looking for the target puppy for photos. The store is kept nice and clean. Placed an order for grocery pickup at 5pm. Came to pick up my items at 8:50pm. It was NOT busy in the pickup areas. There was only myself and one other car in the pickup area. Waited for 10 mins. Finally the girl comes out to drop off the items... she states "I can't give you your truly because it's 9:02pm and I can't give you alcohol after 9pm" Nowhere online or in any notifications does it say to be there X minutes early in case they take forever to come out to your car. I told her I've been sitting here for 10 minutes and was here in time. She said "we're understaffed." Disappointed, I called the next day and spoke to guest services to find out if I did something wrong... did I miss a memo?... or is there a staffing issue or a process issue? The girl who answered the phone didn't introduce herself, sounded annoyed, wouldn't tell me her name, wouldn't tell me the name of the manager and said there's nobody I can transfer you to but you can call guest relations. I called quest relations and relayed what just happened... they said they should introduce themselves so you know who you're taking to and relay the name of the manager. They also stated if you would like to speak to a manager then call the store. ??? Getting sent in circles. Poor experience all around. This Target store is clean and well-stocked. I did have one terribly bad experience with an offensively rude employee which I reported to management. I believe management did something bc the same employee was much nicer the next time around. On the other end of the spectrum is Irlanda. My Daughter asked for an Acai (pronounced Asahi, I think) Bowl (she heard about it from her fav youtuber - Salish). I had no idea what it was (I first got worried bc I thought it was some Japanese beer sold in a bowl or something), but Irlanda saved the day. She looked it up on her tricorder thingy, and let us know where the Bowl thing should be, and showed me pictures of what it looked like (it's definitely not beer, yaaay!). Came here on a slow Tuesday afternoon to stock up on my Goodfellow (Target brand) t-shirts, some SPF50 sport sunscreen for the weekend in Palm Springs, and some windshield washer fluid for my car! I go through a bottle of windshield washer fluid about every 2 weeks smh; The staff at this Westminster mall location are very welcoming and friendly and helped me find what I was looking for in a flash, although they were located all through the 2-storey Target superstore! The checkout cashier was a kind gentleman who made my checkout a breeze - and they've got Apple Pay and an option for a RED card which gives you 5% cash back on all Target in-store or online purchases. This is my go to Target, I drive from Tustin to shop here. That is 18 miles and 20 minutes without traffic, I'd rather do that than the 5 minute drive to the one down the street or the 10 minute drive to the one at The District. This target is always clean, always stocked, always running the a/c, the employees are friendly and did I mention it was clean? Like organized clean and that bathroom doesn't scare me clean. The last time we were there Pete P was our checker and he was an absolute delight. The employees here just seem to care a little more and are very friendly. this is a pretty good Target location. It is definitely one of the better ones I went to. I go to Target pretty often as all of my nieces and nephews love buying the clothes that they have there. Especially when they have good sales and really good prices. It has been a little packed at this target lately because the holiday season is upon us. But it is still definitely one of my favorite targets to come to. The only thing I don't like about this about this location is some of the trash. There is trash a lot of times on the tables and trash outside. I have told the staff a few times about this hoping they would rectify the situation but unfortunately the trash persist. I recently bought Apple gift cards here. And one of the card I wasn't able to redeem. So I called Target and they said they can show how to fix (or claim to apple store) if I go back to Target. So I went back. But the person at this store just told me they can't do anything with it unkindly.
