Possibly the worst experience i've had in a target. Like last time, it starts in the electronics department where a kind gentleman, (who we later found out works produce) was helping customers. He went above and beyond to help me with my purchase of the new Air-pod Pros. He went to the back a few times and stayed with me to figure out which the new ones were and if they were allowed to sell them. (There was another employee in the back who mixed the 2 air-pod's release dates). After thinking we had got it right and purchased the first ones I head to the car to realize they are in fact the wrong ones... So I go back in and he helps me resolve the situation, heads to the back once more and comes out with the ones i was originally looking for. Now heres where it gets interesting. Targets policy for exchanges is that they're handled at guest services.. Not a problem. The kind gentleman escorted me to the front of the store and handed me off to another employee well call mrs b. (also not supposed to be working guest services). He vouched for me and said I just came in and he sold me the wrong ones and that all i needed was a simple exchange, and he asked that she took care of me. To that gentleman (you know who you are) Thank you. After leaving she carried on with the exchange and began to inspect the air-pods as one should! I believe they have every right to ensure i didn't tamper with the product. However, she began to read the serial numbers on the air-pod's themselves, and the product packaging, stating multiple times she was hard on sight and even used a phone to magnify them. After seeing they didn't match (which i was not informed), security comes over to give a second look. Through this whole exchange i was made to feel like i did something wrong. As my appearance wasn't necessarily of one with money. I paid for the product in cash and each of my bills were checked. Security also said they did not match but said to go on with the exchange because he wasn't sure they were supposed too. A simple google search will tell you, "The simple reason that the serial numbers on AirPods and their case don't match, is because all Apple devices have a unique serial number. AirPods are technically individual products, as is their charger case, despite the fact that they are intrinsically linked to one another." Target. Do better.

I like going to this target for a few items. It's not as big as the regular target in Medford or Setauket but decent enough. The only thing is when I go there , the only lines that are open is the self checkout lines. People will have a cartful of items on the self checkout which holds up the line.

Amazing! They have four sanitizing stations that I could find in the front of the store...EVERY one was EMPTY. I asked CS and they said I know, here is some and squirted a dollop on my hand.

This lady followed me from Target to Shoprite complaining...kinda creeped me out.

WAY too small. No selection. Aisles are haphazard only good thing is the store is empty. I was shocked going here. Will never return.

Delivery lie after lie after lie, no matter who we spoke with. Danielle believing she has the last word above anyone, saying Max has no authority to make decisions (I like to call her Saint Danielle) Max telling me Danielle acts that way when she hasn't taken her medication. The unprofessionalism of this crew talking behind each other's backs!!! One day it's being delivered, the next it hasn't even been built yet?? It was jumping from warehouse to warehouse depending on who we spoke with - any house BUT our house!!! Max promising full refunds, Danielle refusing them. I finally decided to go to small claims court, where someone else was there to sue them as well. The mediator forced us to allow them to deliver the couch that suddenly existed when they received the lawsuit. Received the couch, but of course there was even more drama, Saint Danielle wanted me to sign an NDA. I refused - never do that!!! Like I said, this is a compacted version I have a full detailed diary of everything. Google the company - the owner is always behind on taxes, and then reopens under a different name. That day in court, we were advised there apparently was yet another sign posted on the business door. Save yourself the aggravation and LISTEN to the negative reviews.

The transformation of a 1960's home into an open concept was remarkable. Now of course, you are left with the task of rearranging furniture. Backtrack on that, out with the old, in with the new. We have been using Joe Evans at Ethan Allen furniture in South Setauket for many years. Our house has literally become a small warehouse for their furniture. What I love most is the level of professionalism and customer service that we have gotten from Joe. It's not just about selling furniture, it's literally about designing a comfortable and beautiful home. Joe knows the current pieces in the showroom as well as a huge selection of upholstery. I love the fact that a couch can look so many different ways depending upon what it is upholstered in. Most stores don't offer this high end customized option. Enter your typical Long Island furniture store. either get gray, brown, maybe occasionally a blue and some more gray! It's like ice cream, vanilla , chocolate or strawberry. Ethan Allen's 's furniture is worth every penny because you get what you pay for. It is incredibly durable and extremely well made. Certainly you can get less money however, I have not found the sane long lasting quality. Joe has come to our home to help us to measure, come up with pieces and ideas as well as things is small is picking out paint colors/ He now puts it on a computer with an architectural rendering of what the room would look like. It actually came out better than it looked on a computer screen and a print out. I could not be more pleased with the outcome and look forward to many many happy years even if I'm in quarantine. At least I'm in my Shangri-La!

I couldn't help but wonder if it was donated? Did they find it somewhere? Was it already here when they got the place? Hmm... Well, as I pondered this question I went on inside to look around. There's a lot of stuff, but also a lot of fluff. I can seriously never find anything good here when I drop by and this visit maintained the status quo. It's a shame because there are a lot of sections to look through and they were having a huge sale on multiple sticker colors. This of course is a personal taste issue, but it's a bit far off the beaten path from me so I can't justify coming out here unless I'm already in the area. I also don't like how much higher priced some items are here, like I get that they are "nicer" items but the whole point of thrifting is to buy secondhand items at a reduced price, catered to those making a lesser income. This place has lost sight of the concept with multiple premium tags spotted at $100+ pricing out some potential customers out the gate. The workers are great, always willing to help when asked and the sale days are pretty good here though. Overall an alright thrift store, I wouldn't recommend going out of your way for this one though. But if you're in the area, why not? I have also determined that the wagon must have been there already, cause like who would donate that? Andrew Jackson?
