Compared to what many others have experienced at this Target location it's decent enough. Close to where my family lives and good for what I need when there. Usually pick up some things for the bathroom, kitchen, or other household needs. Decent enough prices although not one of the larger locations. read more

I cannot recall the last time I saw a work environment more in need of adult supervision. Finding someone who actually works there is often challenging. Today, 3 out of 4 checkout kiosks were not functioning (typically no staffed checkout counters). It was only after several of us waiting on line shouted repeatedly "Does anyone work here," that someone showed up to fix the kiosks. It has been like this for at least a year read more

I absolutely cannot stand this Target in Selden. It is a skid mark compared to the usual great Target stores in every other location. If you come here be prepared to see many items out of stock, items in wrong areas, only self check out no matter how long the line is, and your cart stop wheeling on your way back to your car, I was literally in the front row as my baby was in the cart and it all of a sudden stopped on a dime with my baby getting jerked, very angry about that and I didn't hear anything from their corporate about that. They need to get rid of this place before they ruin the Target name read more

It's a tiny target they dont have 10 options of the same thing you hope that they have what you need. They didnt quite have everything.

Possibly the worst experience i've had in a target. Like last time, it starts in the electronics department where a kind gentleman, (who we later found out works produce) was helping customers. He went above and beyond to help me with my purchase of the new Air-pod Pros. He went to the back a few times and stayed with me to figure out which the new ones were and if they were allowed to sell them. (There was another employee in the back who mixed the 2 air-pod's release dates). After thinking we had got it right and purchased the first ones I head to the car to realize they are in fact the wrong ones... So I go back in and he helps me resolve the situation, heads to the back once more and comes out with the ones i was originally looking for. Now heres where it gets interesting. Targets policy for exchanges is that they're handled at guest services.. Not a problem. The kind gentleman escorted me to the front of the store and handed me off to another employee well call mrs b. (also not supposed to be working guest services). He vouched for me and said I just came in and he sold me the wrong ones and that all i needed was a simple exchange, and he asked that she took care of me. To that gentleman (you know who you are) Thank you. After leaving she carried on with the exchange and began to inspect the air-pods as one should! I believe they have every right to ensure i didn't tamper with the product. However, she began to read the serial numbers on the air-pod's themselves, and the product packaging, stating multiple times she was hard on sight and even used a phone to magnify them. After seeing they didn't match (which i was not informed), security comes over to give a second look. Through this whole exchange i was made to feel like i did something wrong. As my appearance wasn't necessarily of one with money. I paid for the product in cash and each of my bills were checked. Security also said they did not match but said to go on with the exchange because he wasn't sure they were supposed too. A simple google search will tell you, "The simple reason that the serial numbers on AirPods and their case don't match, is because all Apple devices have a unique serial number. AirPods are technically individual products, as is their charger case, despite the fact that they are intrinsically linked to one another." Target. Do better. read more

Probably my favorite Target location. It's smaller than most but that is probably why it's so much better. It has just whatever we happen to need, prices are far and employees are polite and helpful on the rare occasion we need help with something. It's a good neighborhood store and has just the right items for the location. read more

I like going to this target for a few items. It's not as big as the regular target in Medford or Setauket but decent enough. The only thing is when I go there , the only lines that are open is the self checkout lines. People will have a cartful of items on the self checkout which holds up the line. read more

It's too small. Not enough selection of product. We all were waiting with anticipation for this target to open up, but it was very disappointing. Had a bargain store, almost Big Lots kind of feel. If corporate is trying to pilot, like, a Target "express", or something, then advertise it as such. I probably won't be going back there, as there is a larger Target the same distance from me and feels like an actual big box store and not a quickie mart. read more

I go to this target all the time. I do drive up a lot. The employees are prompt with bringing out my packages. Even when I take a visit inside the lines are never too long. If they are long they call cashiers immediately to help the customers. I would give it 5 stars if the store had more inventory: it seems to be a smaller target. read more

This is a great little store. The staff are helpful when you need help. They carry plenty of organic and health foods that I like, and fresh fruits and vegetables. I personally find it less confusing than the larger Target locations. There's good pet food choices too. It seems super clean and that's very important during these times. I really dislike going to this Target because they force you to use the self checkout. There is rarely a cashier available, the only one available is the one who monitors the self checkout. It's really ridiculous. If I'm buying a lot of product, or I have coupons, gift cards etc. I do not want to use self checkout. read more

I have been to this target multiple times and never had this experience till recently. When I was there today 5/6 I used a coupon for free five dollar target gift card if I spend twenty or more dollars on beauty products. I spent around thirty dollars and wanted to use the target card that I had in my hand from the sale add. When I approached a women named Catherine she told me she had no way to help cause she knew as much as me..nothing. I don't understand why you have someone work at self checkout when they know nothing about what they are doing and to be honest she looked a little spaced out. As others said yes this is a smaller version. But very convenient. They carry most of their up and up product line. And the most popular items. Plus if theres is something specific you need that they do not carry you can always order online and do a store pick up.
