This mall is in the middle of face lift number 3. The word on the street is that they are putting in a whole green space by where Macy's is, which would be a nice addition to what they've already done. It's been a minute since we've been in this mall and they already made it a whole lot nicer. The stores are also newer. Was happy to see a Rumi Life and coming soon will be Zara. Also parking by and entering through Primark was clutch and lets you out in a pretty central part of the mall. Food court also looks a tad different with a decent pizza spot and Korean corn dogs. I love this mall a lot! Very deserted every time I come here! It's never crowded like the malls in New York City where people are very loud! Also most of the sizes here are available when I used to go to Uniqlo here. I got pissed off that they decided to close down Uniqlo. Probably because this mall rarely has Asians coming in since Uniqlo is Japanese and geared towards Asians. The food court by Men's Warehouse sucks so much! Barely has any variety. Parking is pretty easy to find when you are looking at spots all the way in the back and farthest from the mall. Then when you're close to the mall, the cars be fighting for spots. Sucks. Overall, this mall is very quiet and clean! Well maintained! read more

This place took out any seating that used to be there from the food court up to the center. I guess they're trying to mimic their related Simon branch, Walt Whitman shops. The heats turned up high and aside from the soda machines that make you want to drink more, there's no food spaces to buy drinks unless you go outside or reach the end of the corridor. My husband went to this mall when he was younger and he wanted to return when he got older..lol. I'm not a fan of the layout. It doesn't connect together like in a circle. You have to go to one end and turn back around to the center of the mall. There are shops and a food court. It was a cold day and it was nice to warm up inside. It wasn't crowded until the lunch time hour. It's a little outdated and could use improvement or a remodel in the near future. read more

Digging its own grave!!! This mall used to be such a great place back in the day for socialization and for its variety of shops and entertainment options. Now the mall forced out the arcade it had and has prioritized random stores and higher end spots that doesn't make sense for everyone. The social aspect of this mall is dying and it's sad as it used to be a place for people of all ages to not only shop but hangout. The food court has less seating and lacking in quality and variety more than ever. The hours seem to get shorter and shorter as the years go by. The earliest this place should close is 9PM and 10PM on weekends. While it's nice to see some malls surviving beside a few key stores and some decent restaurant options like Ford Garage and Texas De Brazil it seems this malls days are numbered like so many others. read more

We go to this mall because of the children's stores & maintained play equipment. There's a large children's play area which is partially enclosed. Ride on toys are $1 each. There's also a ride on kiosk where parents can ride with their children around the businesses. This is $10 for 10 minutes. The strollers are $6. Very good for a rainy day. read more

The mall restrooms are dirty, soap is watered down and the water faucets spit droplets out. The food court needs security to keep watch as there are definitely people there who are not mall goers. read more

In the area, a group of us decided to stop at Smith Haven to kill some time, and this mall stood out based on its selections and also how kept up and clean it looks. Only a one-floor mall, the square feet of it are huge, with plenty of stores and services to provide. I'm happy to see the mall thriving, busy, and almost packed with people going their business. It's too hard to get lost in this mall because there are only four hallways that meet at the center (intersection). Of course, take advantage of the mall map. Also worth noting, there is also an outside section of the mall, which I've never encountered. There's a number to choose from in that part of the mall. This mall passes, and definitely won't go anytime soon. read more

Tonight we went for Pet pictures with Santa. The hours were from 7pm to 8pm. We arrived at 6:45, and there was already a long line at the entrance. They started by walking groups down to Santa at 7pm. Once we arrived at Santa, the real wait began. There were 2 lines, 1 for reservations, the other for stand by. They were only working off the reservations line. By 8:45 - 2 hours later - the stand by line hadn't moved, and we left completely disgusted. Extremely poor management for this. Dogs & parents were getting tired and frustrated. If you're going to do this, definitely plan ahead with a reservation, otherwise be prepared to spend quite a few hours there. Had we stayed, we were still in for at least another hour and a half wait. We also heard the least expensive package was $50, which we were unable to confirm, but that would have been ridiculous if true!!! read more

Always clean well kept and accommodating. I truly hate the mall but when you are down on time and in a jam I do find it always to be a successful trip. Still a good selection of stores. I did notice that JC Penny's was gone. It was sad. Nothing in its place as of yet. There were also less Pop UP stores in the middle of the halls. I was under pressure to get something my daughter and I could agree upon that would be a good fit for picture day tomorrow at school. We ended up at GARAGE. Here are some pic's. It is a clean nice size mall. However, I do not see how the size is any different from the South Shore mall in Bay Shore. I do however, think this mall has one up on the mall near me only because this mall has Hot Topic, FYE, Game Stop, and a store by the name of Newbury Comics. Newbury Comics store is clean and organized. The buy 2 get 1 Funko Pops free is an attention catcher for collectors. It was worth the 20 minute drive. My son enjoyed this store more than the other stores in this mall because it was easy to locate items. It has a little bit of everything in there. Game Stop in this mall looked empty. It did not have much of anything. The food court was okay. Not much variety on food choices. read more

It's one of those malls which branches out in the middle and has additional shops on the outside. They've done alot of renovations to this mall. If you're into comics and collectables like funko figures they have newbury comics, fye, and thinkgeek now. They have plenty of restuarants too. Texas de Brazil, California pizza kitchen, cheesesteak factory, Bobby's burger palace, bahama breeze, etc. Sur la table is across from omaha steaks and glow off, located in the inlet of "lifestyle village" near dicks sporting goods. Sur la table offers cooking classes there, making it a cool date night location. read more

I have been coming here non stop since I was a little girl. Took pictures with Santa here, very wide selection of stores. It's amazing. The reason I give it only 4 stars instead of 5 is for the very few times I had a problem in this mall. The American Kennel Club has got to go. Those dogs are sick and hundreds of people who didn't know where these dogs came from were heartbroken when the animal they purchased died suddenly. A few years ago, a friend and I went into gizmos and gadgets and we were about middle school aged with no adults with us. Manager kicked us out immediately upon entering. Why? It's very spacious and the climate controlled facility is perfectly set. The mall is full of today's trendy store. It's definitely a mall you spend the day at with friends. The Macy's is pretty big and very organized. I always come to this mall and find exactly what I'm looking for and better. I love this mall! I grew up in smithtown and I have always been very happy every time I come here and wouldn't wanna shop until I drop. This is a nice little shopping mall. We drove out here to visit Dick's to pick up some bikes my husband ordered for himself and my son. It was easy to navigate inside the parking lot, probably a lot easier since it was close to 9pm on a week night. After stowing the bikes in my we headed to Cheesecake Factory for din before driving back home. We may return in the future since my son attends Stony Brook University and the mall is a stone's throw away from campus. They have a nice selection of stores and everything looked clean and nice. I usually stop in this mall because they have an eyebrow threading spot ($12) which is actually kinda hard to find around Long Island! The mall jtself is smaller than other malls in LI (ie Roosevelt field). The food court is pretty small, but I guess it's because there are restaurants on the outside area (ie. The Cheesecake Factory, Bahama Breeze, PF Chang's, California Pizza Kitchen, IHOP) so not many people eat in this food court. There's a Starbucks nearest the Apple Store, so if you're waiting for your Genius Bar appointment it's nice to grab yourself a cup of coffee here since it's convenient. There's a lot of space to walk without bumping into people and there are seating areas placed around the mall. The best feature of this mall: the puppy store! You can play with puppies and purchase them if you want! I always leave wishing I could just buy one of these doggos. There's a Sephora but I've recently transitioned to more of an Ulta shopper since they carry more brands (i.e. Kylie cosmetics, Colorpop, etc.) so I would generally skip it, drive 2 minutes to the Ulta nearest the Trader Joe's. The selection of stores isn't the best, but if you need something really quick I'm sure you'd be able to find it. Right now there are a lot of pop-ups because of the holidays, which includes a Lululemon pop-up and a Lego toy store pop-up. The holiday hours are also longer for the month of December, so it's pretty nice. If you're looking for gifts and plan on going to the Pandora, make sure you get on the line they have outside of the store (it gets pretty busy on weekends). read more
