They also have a large parking lot -- plus underground parking that's free, which is a huge bonus. The area isn't overly busy, so the stores aren't crowded, and that's definitely a big plus for me. I absolutely loved my experience here and will definitely be returning soon. Thank you, The Gallery!

She loves Bloomies, Saks, Home Goods, etc. And we both love Trader Joe's, Shake Shack, France and Sons, etc. And then there Banana Republic, the Gap, various eateries, and more. And it's all situated basically in a U shape, with the parking lot in the middle, surrounded by 3 sides of stores. It's just large enough to have all the big names, but small enough that you don't get lost. From the middle of the parking lot, you can literally see every store. That way you don't have to wonder around aimlessly like in some larger malls. About Trader Joe's: there's isn't a convenient one near us in Queens. So, we always drive a little farther out here in Long Island. It's so much more convenient and less crowded here than in Queens. Asides from that, the location is also close to a couple of our other favorite places, such as Roosevelt Field Mall and Total Wine.

It is one of those rare, sprawling ecosystem-level malls where you can easily lose an entire day to the pavement and never once feel the itch of boredom. The structural face-lifts have been a massive win, transforming the space into a genuinely premium destination. They have a powerhouse gauntlet of anchor stores--Macy's, Bloomingdale's, Nordstrom, and Neiman Marcus--flanked by a relentless selection of clothing boutiques and a Lego store that remains a pure, nostalgic trip. The food court is the gold standard in variety, standing as one of the best executions of the concept you'll find anywhere. But the real evolution hits in the summer, when the al fresco dining areas open up, offering an outdoor oasis amid the retail hustle. It gets crowded--of course it does--but with plenty of parking to absorb the madness, it remains an absolute favorite. Selection & Shopping (5/5): An elite tier of retail which runs seamlessly from accessible mid-range staples to high-end luxury. The movie theater upgrade is spectacular, a complete night-and-day transformation from what it used to be. Food & Dining for a mall (4.5/5): A massive cut above standard mall fare. The sheer volume of food options is impressive, and the outdoor al fresco spaces give it a vibrant, lively energy during the warmer months. Layout & Convenience (4.25/5): The modern renovations have aged beautifully, keeping the massive footprint easy on the eyes. Despite the heavy crowds, the abundance of parking means you aren't fighting a losing battle before you even get through the doors.

I scoured each floor of the Roosevelt Field mall on a treasure hunt and let me tell you, I got good use of my step counter. The Roosevelt Field mall is massive, clean, well-mapped, and perfect for a group challenge and a long day of exploring. I covered every square inch of this place- from the North and South wings to the East and West wings, alone!! Company would have been nice! I love the huge food court, and it does wonders for every palate. So many stores; Bloomingdales, JC Penny, Macy's and several other small clothing stores provided slim opportunities and did not fulfill my needs. One would think that they can find any and everything at a mall, right? Not in my case. Had I been looking for something simple, I may have not spent hours inside of Roosevelt Field mall and I would have stopped at one store. Not to be misunderstood, Roosevelt Field mall is an ideal place to look for excellent finds and thousands of people score with what they are looking for and what they are not looking for. For me, it was a no hitter this time, but I did see awesome sales with great value for the dollar. I won't count them out; I will come on another day when I am just browsing. Who knows maybe I will find a big catch in one store that will give me reasons to be happy and to .... Inspire more, Yelp more!

They do have restrooms located in specific spots outside of the restaurants and store, do don't go thinking that you can use restroom inside a place that you visit. Parking is plentiful so park, walk over to the outlets grab a map, mark your starting point on the map and shop away. Pro tip - if you get the Phili cheesesteak, you might want to ask for extra meat. We popped in while visiting family and it felt like a little holiday village. The grounds are set up so you can stroll from shop to shop, and everything is decorated in a way that makes it perfect for photos. There are tons of great photo ops for kids (and adults), which made it feel extra fun this time of year. The carousel in the center is a big highlight! Super charming, very nostalgic, and a hit with the kids. Honestly, it added so much character to the whole place. There's a really nice mix of shops too. You'll find boutique-style stores, specialty food shops, gift ideas, sweets, and unique little spots you don't usually see all in one place. It's great for browsing, grabbing small gifts, or just wandering around without feeling rushed. We stopped for pizza at Brezza pizza, which is right there in the shoppes, and it was the perfect break in the middle of walking around. Easy, casual, and exactly what you want when you're out with family and kids. The Shoppes at East Wind is just so cute. It's festive without being overwhelming, family-friendly, and a really fun place to spend an hour or two during the holidays. Whether you're shopping, grabbing food, or just there for the carousel and photos, it's definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area.

The dining options are few also. They have your basic department stores here: Macy's, Sears, Dicks. They have Pandora, H&M, Aeropostale, Journeys, Spencer's, Hot Topic ,Justice, New York and Company and some no frills shoe and boutique stores I've never seen. If you're looking to do some Christmas shopping without the hassle of Roosevelt Field and the South Shore, this is a good idea. I did not see a Gap or Victoria Secret. The mall features some cool bells and whistles. A Koi Fish pond, Tablet Strollers to rent for your mini me's, A Large Family Bathroom and play area. They cater to Suffolk county families here. The food court is super small. Charlie's, China Express buffet, Taco Bell and some hot dog / pretzel stand. I recognized the famous 90's buffet Sbarro. They've got to do better with the food. There's also a Latin restaurant with outdoor seating called Joubilie. Random. The major selling point here is they have a brand new Dave and Busters !!!!!!!! I went there for an hour to kill time and it was awesome.
