If I could give no stars I would. Came here this evening and the store is a MESS. Clothes and merchandise just thrown everywhere. Then my husband needed to try on a pair of pants (he was wearing a mask, as was I, and both of us are fully vaccinated), and the mens dressing room was closed. So we asked a passing employee if there were any open dressing rooms, and she confirmed the ones near the mens were closed but that the dressing rooms in the middle of the store were open to customers. That turned out to be incorrect, as we were so rudely told by the two snotty twelve year olds who were manning that area. We told them we were told these were open and were confronted with "We don't make the rules". This store needs to get their crap together so customers aren't being told different things by different employees. And while I would imagine wiping down a dressing room (due to Covid) after each customer isn't ideal for the employees, I would think it's better than losing a customer's business. This store could learn a lot from the recently renovated Tyler Ave. store, which I have never had a bad employee experience with. Won't be returning to this one. read more

I was at Target today at 3333 Arlington Ave in Riverside at around 3:40pm. I was back by the corner where the kitchen items are, and there were three employees who were obviously on the clock but walking slowly and oblivious to anyone around them. The woman in the group, who was pushing one of the 3-tiered fulfillment carts, was showing the others pictures on her phone, and every other word out of her mouth was "Fuckin". This was right in front of the customers. When I passed her, I whispered "People can 'fuckin' hear you!" She raised her voice and asked "Are you talking to ME?", and I told her yes, that people could hear her swearing, and it was rude. She yelled  "Well, it shouldn't be of any concern to you!" The employee in question was young, probably in her 20's, had long black hair with bangs, big glasses, and was wearing a red "Marvel" T-Shirt. I can't believe they would let someone like this work in their store. I may still go back, but if I see her again there I will never be back after that. My other issue is that most of the employees look like they just got out of bed, but that wouldn't dissuade me from shopping there. read more

This is one of the messiest, understaffed Targets I've been to! They never have more than 3 cashiers at a time! Their shelves are always empty. Avoid this store, especially in the evening. I love target but not this one! read more

Buying online to pick up is a joke! First, they automatically, whether you like it or not, precharge $1.00 for bags that you are supposed to request a refund for at pickup. I bought boxes of diapers that don't fit in their bags! Second, the girl at pickup had attitude. While I was trying to understand AND REQUEST A REFUND FOR this $1 charge, she walked off outside and didn't come back! RUDE! Also, the parking lot is dimly lit and the entrance is controlled by a single file line. Outdated. What a nightmare! When I ordered online, it read "FREE SHIPPING", but after I sent payment, it said to pickup at this location when I live in a completely different city! I bought 4 boxes of diapers just so I can take advantage of the $15 gift card with $75 diaper/wipe purchase. I just found that my account was charged for the $15 gift card! I really hate writing bad reviews but this target has become such a huge disappointment. They're always out so many of the products I use. Ever since they remodeled it seems like they've gone downhill. I started buying allot of the small things on amazon and other stores because I got frustrated with targets empty shelves. I would go to target just for things like toilet paper and such but today I was lucky enough to grab the last laundry detergent I use and they were out of my shampoo among other things. If toilet paper and paper towels is all they're going to be good for I might as well just buy that from the grocery store and save a trip. I really hope things change soon, I use to enjoy shopping here and would like to come back for my necessities. read more

I was at Target last night and it was so hot in there I thought I was going to faint! I noticed all the employees were sweating and their clothes were soaked in sweat. I asked two employees how they can work in the heat and one said "I have to carry paper towels to wipe the sweat off my face" While standing in the long lines to pay, I asked the cashier and she said corporate is in charge of the temperature in the stores. Came here to buy body wash and the line is soooo long. There are a lot of cash registers in target but less than half of them are open and every line is long. I decided to use the self-checkout kiosks since I only have 1 item BUT the line is still long......I hope next time they'll open more cash registers so the lines would be shorter! read more

I understand that they weren't fully stocked when they were remodeling but this location has been done with the remodel for months now and they never have anything in stock. I prefer driving here instead of going to the one in San Bernardino because the store is clean and people working here are friendly and fast. They always have everything in stock that I need. I like looking for liquor that's on sale here. I seem to come here for one or two items, but leave with a whole cartful of supplies. read more

Aw shucks, I hate posting negative reviews, but this is the sloppiest / most disorganized Target I have ever been in. I realize it's the holiday season, but literally on almost every single aisle there were empty boxes either blocking the path or just sitting in carts with items still waiting to be unloaded . Don't get me started on the clothing sections, which had clothes strewn all.over.the.floor. We asked an employee if he knew if there was additional stock in the back of an item we wanted, and no joke! - he said "I don't know" and wandered off without giving any indication of if he would be returning, if he was even going to check for it, etc. Truly bizarre. Wish I was making all this up. Between the poor customer service and the trash everywhere, I don't think I'll ever be returning here. read more

Thieves!!! On the 21st I placed an order for a 7.5ft unlit Christmas tree for my family. When I placed the order I was told that I would be able to pick it up in the store as it was in stock. However, as the item was popular it sold out and I was promised to have one delivered by the date of November 26th! Upon calling the store and customer service I spoke with several people and managers who told me that whomever stated that I would be able to pick up the item was incorrect and that they "apologize" for the mishap! They then go on to say "We ask the you wait up to 2 business days after the ship date of 11.26" I respond saying I was told it would be delivered however, I can wait. Fast forward to today FRIDAY Nov 30th - I call customer service as the store won't answer and when they do, they hang up as if it's a dropped call. I then call customer service where I spoke with a lady named Shaffon she was very kind however, she told me that my item is no longer available for delivery and that all she was able to do was escalate the issue for a refund. I let her know that the store has the item in stock it's just $40 more in cost. She responds by saying the exact same thing. I then ask her if there is anything that Target can do considering the advertised price of $100 is what I paid and now the item is $140. To sum up the conversation that went around in circles is that Target is a multi billion dollar company that doesn't care about one little consumer. She told me she can cancel my order and I'm welcome to go in to the store to repurchase the item! My Jaw dropped! Isn't that illegal?? Does anyone know if this is right? How can anyone do business with a company who's policy is like this? It's no wonder Amazon is taking over. I shop at this location every single day. And I had the worst target experience I've ever had today in my life today. The cashier argued with me about the price of an item because they didn't have the price right as no fault to my own, but she ended up making me walk all the way to the back off the store again so I can take a picture of the right price, instead of calling it back to an employee who was already supposed to update it to check. And then when I got back in line a member of management proceeded to tell me they would help me out because the employee was uncomfortable. Like uncomfortable with doing the wrong thing and still trying to make me wait? That wouldn't be a person on my payroll target needs to do better stop trying to be the victim. What has happened to this store ? Where is the manager ? Never have I seen a Target to be this unorganized and dirty. It literally looked like the place was robbed and ransacked. The clothes in all departments were thrown on the floor or shoved back on the racks not on their hangers. My daughter and I couldn't believe the condition of this store. The women's clothing dept is a disaster. I just needed help finding a size, so I hunted down an employee near by, while another girl was asking if she could try something on and the employee responded, "No sorry fitting rooms are closed." I next asked if she could just scan the bar code to a pair of pants I was holding and see if it shows they have a small in stock and I would be willing to keep looking for it. She responded with, "sorry I'm not good with that, you can ask someone working in fitting rooms!" 10 seconds ago you just told the other girl fitting rooms are closed and no one is working there! They look like they have been that way for some time. I couldn't figure out where my size was vs. where the junior sizes are. It was crazy. First things first. Is it me or does yelp make any impact on the market. Case in point, why hasn't this target flagged some of these weird and not relevant photos. I mean my pictures are okay sort of. Parking is limited and really weird. Starbucks shop is always on point. Go order a double venti triple shot expresso with whole chocolate covered coffee bean extra black extra whip to heart pumping as you dive into the clearance section. Why is it that the red clearance sticker seems like your getting a great deal but then when you look at the original price your only saving like 8 cents. Buyer beware. Check the original price before tossing those funny Christmas socks from 4 months ago in your cart. Their electronic section is pretty sad. I like to go there when the wife is looking at women section. Selection is sad, no new products, cd section is better at the good will. If I want a blu ray, you better off get it on Amazon.
