"Pleasantly surprised" is an understatement. I stopped by the day before Mother's Day, during what I'm sure is one of their busiest times of the year, completely clueless about what I wanted. I did not know bouquet prices, flower types, or even where to start. Despite how busy they were, the customer service was absolutely exceptional. They took the time to talk with me, walk me through everything, and really listen to the vision I had in mind, even though I could barely explain it myself. Once they stepped in, they completely brought it to life and created the most gorgeous arrangements. What impressed me most was how kind, patient, and attentive everyone was. They could tell I was rushing around trying to get everything done, and they still managed to take care of me so quickly without ever making me feel rushed. I am so happy I stumbled upon this place. Beautiful shop, beautiful people, and truly outstanding service. I will absolutely be coming back. read more

What an amazing experience we had when purchasing/choosing flowers for my grandmothers memorial/funeral. Liz was such a huge help when choosing our flowers, she made sure to inform us of flowers that were in season & showed us examples as well and accommodated what we had in mind. They turned out amazing and we couldn't be happier! I recommend having a general idea of what you want, ask for examples, let them know your flower/color preferences, and leave it up to designers choice for most of the rest. We cannot be more appreciative, they take so much care in their customers! read more

I asked Magnolia Flowers to make an arrangement I saw on Facebook from 2019 and they made a beautiful arrangement, sent me a picture before they delivered it to show me and when my sister got them, she was thrilled with how beautiful they were. She called them to tell them she loved them and they let her know how to water them and take care of them to make them last as long as possible. THANK YOU. I would give you a 10 if I could. read more

Let me just saying that it was the most refreshing experience to work with such an exceptional small business. I'll be honest I suck at sending flowers a day late and never know what to buy. I called after hours and was so pleasantly helped by the most amazing woman (I can't remember her name ) but man is she an expert. I was able to order an after hours delivery for tomorrow for a very reasonable price. After I had explained what the flowers were for she knew exactly what to offer and met all of my needs instantly. She asked my buget, offered to make a custom arrangement, and took down all of my details. I look forward to see the bouquet tomorrow and plan to update my review with pictures. If you need flowers this is your new go to place. read more

Thank you Rosa for being so helpful and accommodating! It was a last minute arrangement on a holiday weekend. Several other local florists either did not have flowers available or could not do same day delivery. I found an arrangement on their website but wanted to substitute with pink roses. Rosa said she would make the arrangement herself to ensure that it made same day delivery. The arrangement was beautiful and Rosa even added a butterfly! I will definitely be using Magnolia Flowers for future arrangements!!! read more

I would use Magnolia Flowers again. I picked Magnolia Flowers over another shop in Riverside that was recommended (started with a G off MLK) and I'm happy I did. The quality was a little better. It was for my mom's unexpected funeral. They were worked to accommodate our interests in 3 days and weren't skimpy on the arrangement. That was the most important thing for me. I wanted real volume not leaves. Magnolia's Flowers were filled in with colorful flowers and accents. They're pretty much on the same price point as other flower shops so I recommend going into the store if you're undecided . If you're new to funeral arrangements and budgeting . I'd recommend 2 sprays and a basket to start. read more

Disappointed. My order was placed online, I should have known better. 1st picture is what I wanted, then I saw an upgraded bouquet that included 3 roses for an additional price. So I decided to pay the extra fee to add the roses. When my friend in the hospital received them she sent me a picture, I was so disappointed to know that I paid extra money for more daisies and another lily. I wouldn't have paid the extra for just those. I sent an online response and got no reply. Not happy. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE I put in my order lastweek for mothers day and paid for additional fees for delivery & let me tell you it was very pricy. I contacted them in the afternoon around 2pm for an update on what time will my arrangements be delivered they said it was still at the shop & it will be delivered in the next 2hours ( around 4pm ). IT WAS NOT DELIVERED BY 4 THEY DELIVERED AT 9pm!!! The fact that they didnt even have the courtesy to contact me how late they were coming SMH I understand they were busy because it was a holiday but why deliver something so damn late, you know its a busy holiday book 10 drivers if you must it is important to deliver everything ON TIME & not when the day & holiday is basically over!!! I was very disappointed... & when the lady delivered it she just ran out and handed it to my sister inlaw outside & rushed into her car like noooo you go deliver it to the mother who it was for & apology for your horrible service!!!! Oh & the flowers were so shitty you can tell they just picked up whatever leftover flowers was there and sticked it in the vase!!! Oh & the funny part is I literally live close to the shop it wasn't like I was in LA or something & no I couldn't do pickup because I was at work & I work 12hr shifts and get off late hence why i picked delivery... had I known this I would've picked it up myself or went somewhere else for an earlier delivery. Not a happy customer folks save your money just go with stater bros flowers next time period read more

I went in personally to order flowers for a very good friend of mine who had passed away from COVID. My friend hated the color red in flowers , I ordered a standing spray of flowers and I asked them if they could make it in purple and white or lavender and white. They said they could! Clearly you can see in the photo that the flowers are red, pink and white! No lavender no purple as what I ordered! I was told when I ordered the flowers from Carolyn that I would be so happy with them, instead I was embarrassed the arrangement did not even look good, the flowers looked like they where old, and leftovers. The photo on the website shows a much fuller arrangement. After the funeral I called magnolia flowers to complain and they disagreed with me and argued with me saying that the flowers WHERE purple. They even called my daughter rude! All the employees blamed someone else for the mess up. Instead of just apologizing. They even accused people from the funeral for taking some of the flowers out of the arrangement. That did not happen as I attended the funeral and was there myself. Do not use magnolia flowers , you will just be disappointed. read more

I wanted to send flowers to a sweet coworker of mine. I chose Magnolia flowers based on the location and reviews. I did not have any images or pre made arrangements selected and asked that the florist simply arrange something pretty and colorful in the $30/$40 range. I also requested that a text of the arrangement be sent to me prior to their delivery. The arrangement that was created was beautiful; far more than I expected...and the arrangement totaled $26.95 (before taxes and delivery fee). I am very pleased with the service and product and will use Magnolia flowers in the future. read more

Such an odd experience- we had a scheduled appointment to consult on wedding flowers. The person working there said the person wasn't there and seemed like we were a big inconvenience. She then told us they don't really do wedding flowers but said they could for us. There was no consulting, no customer service. I don't know how to fully explain it but it was just some of the oddest lack of customer service we've experienced. We just left and keep giggling about what a weird experience it was. read more

I am so upset with this flower shop my husband ordered me Valentine's flowers to get delivered to my job which he does every year so i was totally expecting them. When i did not received my flowers i was so upset but more sad than anything thinking that he forgot about me, when i got home he explained to me how he did ordered the flowers and how magnolia flowers screwed up and forgot to deliver. I felt better but was still pissed at the flower shop for being so unprofessional and irresponsible. So anyone looking to get flowers delivered on a special day or occasion shop anywhere but magnolia flowers because they will not make it there. read more

I dearly wanted the Weber Barbeque replica for my husband that Teleflora put out this year but didn't want flowers as my husband wouldn't appreciate them. I called several florists who either didn't have the Weber in stock or weren't too enthustiastic about changing the norm. Well I like a creative florist because I often go outside the norm and order things off the cuff like "make it a spring arrangement with a purple vase", instead of ordering a readymade offering. This florist confirmed they had the replica and I suggested filling it with candy. They were more than helpful. I gave them a few ideas of his favorites and they made a few suggestions and we were done. Today the arrangement came and they made a cool candy bouquet with mainly mini snickers & milkyway's and a few other types thrown in. They took crepe paper and made colorful little floral type bursts throughout the arrangement. It looked masculine and appealing and my husband was thrilled with it. Thank you Magnolia Flowers for going above and beyond to make sure this customer was extremely satisfied. I will definitely be using this florist again...especially when I want something out of the ordinary. read more

3 stars because the flowers did arrive by 11 am to my mom's work. But... The flowers didn't come exactly like the picture, as the picture had 9 roses, the arrangement that came had 8, and there were other differences between what i ordered and what i got. It's not a huge deal but considering you pay extra for the "deluxe", plus rush delivery fees and other miscellaneous fees, they shouldn't skimp on the roses and think it's okay to just add more carnations or filler flowers. read more

I went here to order Valentine's Day flowers to be delivered to my girlfriend, I decided to go in the store instead of ordering online because I am very picky on what I want. It took a while but I finally found exactly what I wanted at the price I was looking for. When the flowers were delivered I was a little upset because I specifically asked if they were going to be exactly what it looked like in the store and if not to please call me before making changes to the arrangement. Once I saw the flowers they delivered they were great flowers and looked beautiful but I was really upset that they changed the vase to a very short one which made all the flowers very squished together. The vase I ordered was a tall one and I had purchased extra flowers to fill in the space. UPDATE: The flower shop called me regarding my order and explained to me they were aware of the issue with my order and it was a small mixup. They fixed their mistake and stated the manager will be issuing me a full refund for the inconvenience. I'm very happy with this customer service and will do business here again. The new flowers were exactly what I ordered! :) read more

I was going to a wedding in May and I was looking to make my own floral crown for the event. After driving to three other florists in the area, (Mullens Flowers, The Flower Shop and Flowers for You) and finding either the quality and selection of the flowers to be severely lacking or the customer service to be terrible. Every single one of them was very, very over priced. I used to work as a florist and have a very good idea of what the cost of those flowers should be and two of those three shops were charging nearly triple that. I was looking for baby's breath, white roses and pink roses for my crown. One of the florists (I believe from Mullens?) refused to sell me any of her baby's breath unless I bought an entire bouquet of which was no more than a few sprigs and she was trying to sell it to me for $20! I was very disappointed. Then I found Magnolia flowers. The store is absolutely adorable and the moment I walked in, I was graced with the smell of freshly cut roses. The girl working, I can't remember her name but she was about my age (24) and very sweet. She was polite and left me to my own devices but when she saw me struggling to make up my mind, she offered to help. I explained to her what I was doing for the wedding and how I was trying to weave the flowers together. She looked up some on Google to give me a few ideas and was full of so many helpful suggestions! She ended up suggesting a flower I hadn't even thought of and it was gorgeous! My crown looked beautiful and I ended up walking out with some fresh flowers for my home. The customer service here is high above average! The prices though, are the best perk of this shop. Every single thing was perfectly priced, very reasonable and in some instances even cheaper than I expected! I will not be shopping at any other florists in Riverside, ever again. Thank you, Magnolia Flowers! read more
