This was our second experience with Flowers For You. We are local to area and have always seen their inviting banners and cozy exterior of their shop. Entering inside, it felt like you were in a florist's haven. The staff were pleasant, courteous and professional. You could sense their passion for their craft, even if it were to just get a graduation lei. Recently, I called them and was greeted with the store owner, Robin. I requested anniversary flowers for my wife to be delivered. She asked all the right, pertinent questions and offered a range of pricing. I chose a more elaborate display and went the higher range, hinting to just surprise my wife with her choices outside her favorite flower- sunflower. I mentioned for next day and a particular time. Sure enough, they were hand-delivered timely and left by the door, at my consent, since my wife was away. The bouquet did not disappoint as you can see in the photo. It was crafted with intent, care and desire for appreciation. My wife loved them! Even the handwritten note was made with spirited penmanship and all the details I gave over the phone were incorporated. Mold in the arrangement. Dirty water. And dying/damaged flowers. For this Valentine's day my partner ordered a tulips arrangement for pick up. When the pick up order was ready, the email they sent to my partner had strange wording which made them think that the order had been picked up. This led to my partner believing that the flowers had been picked up by someone else (stolen). My partner had to call the store and ask them to confirm if the order was still there, which it was. When I received the tulips, I was happy. However, as you can see from the photos, the water was murky, and when I removed the flowers in order to clean the vase and replace the water, I found mold. To say I was disappointed is an understatement. The area of mold was also touching the water, meaning it would have spread to the rest of the arrangement. Definitely disappointing and I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone I know. read more

It's times like these I wish my husband was more aware of yelp and reviews.. today I had a delivery for Valentine's Day. This morning I was gifted a heavy vase arrangement with 2 balloons. At first glance, it was beautiful. But once I set it on my table and really looked at it.. the water was dirty and had leaves floating it(immediately I cleaned it out). A lot of the red roses were already welted and falling over. I love the thought from my husband and I'm genuinely curious how much he spent on this arrangement because the quality wasn't worth more than $50 ! IF THAT. If I could leave a zero I would. I ordered flowers for our daughter's 1st Mother's Day. The planned delivery was Saturday. This is Monday, still no flowers and got a notice that delivery would be tomorrow so I'm expecting dead flowers for our daughter's 1st. And my daughter in laws flowers were supposed to be delivered yesterday (Sunday) and they were delivered today. Horrible horrible. They customer service thought that 20% was acceptable. Called the day before prom and was able to order a corsage and boutonniere combo, which was ready for pick up by the next morning. Lady who I spoke with was very helpful- she even asked me to text a pic of the girl's prom dress so that they could match the ribbon color. The flowers were fresh and arranged nicely and simply but in a classy way. I only took away one star because I dont think they actually make the corsage designs featured on the website. They just ask what color flowers you want, then whip it up. Would have wanted maybe more variety as far as mixed flower options or maybe a little more additions to make it fancier. I would not recommend "From You Flowers" as they totally messed up a order that was so simple. I ordered a simple floral arrangement to be delivered on my parents wedding anniversary. They had ample time to either deliver it or notify me that they could not meet the deadline. At 6:pm the day they were do to be delivered I called and they stated they could not deliver today, it would be done tomorrow. NOT ACCEPTABLE! After going round & round with someone that spoke broken English. They finally agreed to refund 50% & deliver the next day. This morning, I got the news the my niece's cat got hit by a car and since I reside in Orange County, I wanted to send my niece something to cheer her up. She was so helpful and personable over the phone and attended to my requests. She made me feel reassured that she will let the designer know what I wanted. I spent an hour on the phone to only be refunded $9 and just upgraded a couple flowers to a bigger size and to be delivered 3 days later than what I had paid and that's with them saying they think it will because they can't get a hold of the shop. It's not worth the hassle. I'd recommend going somewhere else and even the flowers they did delivere had absolutely no water in the vase.
