Allie's Hallmark is in a cute little shopping area off Canyon Crest. Lots of stores, a Ralph's and more. Allie's also doubles as a USPS office, if you want to drop off mail, or need stamps. Once a year I hit a Hallmark, to check out their new Christmas ornaments offerings. I never get tired of this. This year, I picked up two Star Trek ones. See attached. Surprisingly, I grabbed the last ones. Seems the NYCC had them for attendees. Grrr. See attached photos. I found everyone friendly and helpful. They even offered to check for more in the storage area, but I was good. Prices are inline with other retailers and the same for online purchases. Nice! read more

I am writing to share a deeply disappointing experience my family and I had at this retail locations. On Saturday, February 7th, I visited the Hallmark store located at the Riverside location with my mother and her friend. From the moment we entered, we were met with prolonged staring from employees that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We are all Hispanic, and the attention we received felt noticeably different from how other white passing customers were treated. When we asked an employee whether a product was available in a larger size, the response was a curt and passive-aggressive "no." When I followed up by asking where we might be able to find a larger size, the employee responded, "mmm you can maybe try Walmart," in a condescending tone. The interaction was dismissive, unprofessional, and humiliating. Retail employees are not required to have all products in stock--but they are expected to treat customers with respect. The way we were spoken to, combined with the initial staring, made us feel stereotyped and disrespected in a space that should be welcoming to everyone. I wanted to bring this to your attention because Hallmark presents itself as a brand centered on kindness and inclusivity. This experience did not reflect those values, and I hope it is taken seriously. I would appreciate knowing how this concern will be addressed moving forward. read more

Allie's Hallmark shop is a great place to shop for birthday gifts, and other gift occasions. They have such cute gifts! The store is spacious, very clean and well organized. The staff is always helpful and kind. They have sales going on all the time and if you sign up for their rewards program, you'll get emails on their sales and coupons. Partner and I enjoyed the quick stop to grab a wedding card. A lot of options to select. We also enjoyed all the ornaments displayed on the side. Employees were accommodating and ready to help if needed. Pricing of the cards may be a bit pricy but I understand due to inflation and decline of physical cards. read more

Always a pleasure coming into this store, rain or shine, this shop has been one of my happy places. Everyone is kind and friendly, and when I asked a question or where to find something, the lady walked me TO the area and answered them with a very pleasant and comforting tone. There are things we expect when entering an establishment and this spot exceeded my expectations. Although short on staff, they still gave me their full attention, as they do all their customers. And the seasonal options here are so endearing, I am always welcomed when I just come in to browse. I can't say enough nice things about this shop! Reminds me of the feeling of Mrs. Dalloways indie bookstore (in Berkeley) vibe (Think Shop Around the Corner from "You've Got Mail"). Thank you, STAFF!!! A very nice shop filled with momentos. Lots of great sentimental items and a mailing USPS in the corner. I go in with so many people who end up buying more than they think they would. So, it's a great spot for kids and adults. And some nice deals here and there. read more

I've been here before & ladies have been more than helpful. But on July 2nd exactly at 4:30pm I was walking towards the store & I noticed that a young lady (Employee) was fast walking towards doors before i can get to them she then proceeded to look at me while turning the open sign to closed when it was only 4:30. Then i went to reach for the doors when she literally grab them back and locked it, looked at me and walked away. I understand if she had an emergency but it was really rude for her to not say anything and leave me outside like an idiot. I googled their hours besides the sign they have outside and both resources say they close at 6pm on sundays. read more

I have visited this location a few times and can now say that the snobby and unwelcoming attitudes of the staff is consistent. I visited the store today and greeted the woman at the counter myself because that's the thing to do in such a small store. She couldn't be bothered and kept her head down (clear face shield, mid 30's thick brunette). I'm not sure if the treatment is because they don't t like my kind in their "upscale" area or if they are just miserable people. After reading through the reviews it seems tnere is indeed a pattern of bad attitudes. God don't like ugly and girl you is ugly! read more

I love this Hallmark so much! I've been shopping here for over two decades, and I've seen it undergo two remodels. One thing that never changes is the courteous and helpful staff! It's nice to find a Hallmark Shop still in Riverside. Allie's is neat and clean and just what I expect at a Hallmark store. They had a very complete selection of Christmas ornaments when I visited before Christmas. I always appreciate the after-Christmas sale items. They have a USPS counter in the back with stamps and other basic stuff. It's a tiny little USPS counter, but you can send out small packages. The store has your usual momento type stuff--figurines, random China, photo frames, etc. Parking is ample and not too crowded. read more

My Go To place when I need a unique gift or a specialty card that the grocery stores and pharmacies don't carry like loss of a pet or retirement. My wife loves to go here a lot. It's about the closest Hallmark we know next to the one in Tyler Mall (which is a lot farther from us). Size wise, it's not as large as many Hallmarks we've been to but it's still quaint and welcoming none the less. Final unique point about this Hallmark is they have a USPS station in the back of the store. read more

This Hallmark is wonderful!! Seriously, wonderful. I could honestly just roam around it for a good hour or more. Tons of items to purchase for gifts, employees are always sweet and willing to help you find something special. Just tried to return/exchange a gift that I received to this store. Still has original tags. I do not have the gift receipt and do not want to offend the person that gave it to me by asking them for documentation. 5 PM and only a couple of customers, yet four sales associates. None of them were interested or apparently authorized to help. They said I would have to come back when a manager is present and did not care at all that this location is 60 miles from my house. Not customer centric at all. I'll probably refuse to do business at any Hallmark going forward. read more

This is a cute little Hallmark store. It just changed hands so it's not Cline's anymore but Abbie's or something. Same helpful staff, though, as well as the same fun knick knacks and huge greeting card selection. The best part is the little USPS store in the back. Buy the card, write in the card, send it off without having to deal with a large line at a stand-alone post office location. Brilliant! read more

This place is convenient because it has a post office within the store. I sometimes send packages using this post office. The rest of the store is a big Hallmark store. I am disappointed with the selection of cards. A high majority of the cards are birthday cards. The last time I was here, I just wanted to buy a nice card for my wife that was a blank card. It was hard to find one Zillions of cards, but not many are blank. The store has many other trinkets. However, they seem to be high priced. The staff mainly attends to the cash register and from what I can see, they never go out of that area to help customers find things. read more

I came to this post office recently and I wasn't treated with respectful manner. Both the man and the lady didn't seem to be very happy to work there and they make it like it is my fault that they have to work there. I'm not even sure how did those 2 got their jobs in the first place. After reading other people comments, I am now concern about my packages. So please do us a favor and hire people who DO need a job and not a couple of twats who think the world owe them money and pity! read more

My son and daughter in law just moved to the Riverside area, and we happened to stop into Allie's Hallmark Shop! What a breath of fresh air! I didn't realize how much I missed the traditional Hallmark Shops! I loved the variety and selection offered from cute gifts, to holiday themed décor, to the wide selection of greeting cards! I'm giving up on this store and I actually adore Hallmark. I checked their hours on the website and drove there to shop. I arrived at 8:10 pm to find it closed. It clearly states on the site open until 9:00pm. Today, I called first and was told that despite the posted hours they close promptly at 8:00 pm, and that these hours have been in effect since before Christmas. I asked her if she realized this was different than what the website stated and she replied yes, she was aware of it, but again cautioned me that they close right at 8 pm. No exceptions. My feeling is that if you care about your business and customers, you make sure they have current and correct information. If you need to stay an extra five minutes to accommodate a customer, you do so. Happily. I'm done. They're is no shortage of other Hallmark stores to shop at. I'm quite sure they'll be more than happy to have a new Gold Crown customer. read more

This review is more for the post office, older lady is very friendly. Younger lady Is hit and miss and can be down right rude, she also knows very little about postal operations and how it all works. They seem to always have a line and can never properly manage it. I will only bring my prepaid postal mail here as I was over charged a couple times for a lack of knowledge and listening on the employees part. The store is always clean and smells good, but overall the staff seems to dislike working at this hallmark. read more

They've got sooo much stuff there besides the usual cards. They sell cards (a lot of the new singing ones too, giant cards), Precious Moments Figurines, Chocolate, Stuff animals (including Beanie Babies), Mugs (some pretty funny "You know you're old when...", and even jewelery.
