I just reread my previous review. That review is actually for a pop up location that they open up seasonally. I think it merged here. This review is for this location . The shop can be easily accessed from Central. If you try to come in after shopping at the plaza you will need to walk over as parking is accessed from the Central side. Parking is free but the See's lot can get busy especially around holidays. I came here to purchase the dark chocolate scotch mello chocolates. I use them when I make my gourmet s'mores. Everyone is friendly and it smells so good in the shop. It was easy to make the purchase and I was given my choice of chocolate samples. I went with dark chocolate again. read more

Today I stopped by for some treats for the family and I was INSTANTLY greeted by the security guard who opened the door for me and said good morning. The store was very busy and the small parking lot was so full. once I got in line I was greeted by a teeny tiny little voice - it was a worker named Marisol. She was so sweet and a bit timid, she did inform me that it was her very first day. She was kind and helpful and was pretty quick finding the chocolates I wanted for a newbie :) Just based on the security guard and Marisol I give this location 5 stars - and also shout out to the other workers who were helping others in the store I heard them providing great customer service to others in the store as well. :) Sorry no pics I was on a mission read more

Throughout the years this location has always been a go to for some serious emergency boxes. Service was welcoming as soon as I walked into the store. I love the plethora of specialty confections. Perfectly tempered chocolate with their iconic fillings, chewy caramel or crunchy goodness. Made it in just before closing and found exactly what I was looking for. Parking right in front with access to Vons grocery store or Riverside plaza shopping center. When you need that extra something with all the special touches Mary See's is the way to go. read more

One of my favorite items here is their peanut brittle. Yes, the chocolate is a must and you need to confiscate a box before you leave the location, but the peanut brittle is one of my favorite along with their assortment of lollipops. The staff is friendly and always helpful. read more

What an amazing experience I just had at this See's! I went in with my 86 year old grandmother and she was so happy with our experience with Christina. She was so sweet to my grandmother and even let her pick her free sample. We don't get to See's as often cause the one by us closed down, but after this experience we will definitely make the trip to see my grandmothers new favorite person Christina. Thank you Christina for spoiling my grandmother with your kind heart and making her day. She was all smiles and couldn't stop talking about you the whole way home. See you soon! read more

I love this See's Candies location. The staff is always friendly and the store is always well stocked. With homeless roaming the area, they have a security guard assigned to this store. Too many times, there is security guard but they watch over the entire parking lot. This store has their own guard which gives me a piece of mind knowing someone is guarding the lot. I feel safe shopping here and leaving my car despite it only being for a few minutes. Thank you to Andra for the free samples. I will definitely be back for my next candy haul. read more

See's Candy continues to be the Disneyland of sugar--except no lines, no screaming children, and everyone hands you chocolate like it's a love language. The staff here? Absolute sweethearts. The kind of people who make you feel like you've wandered into a family reunion where everyone actually likes each other. The samples hit like tiny blessings. The chocolates taste like they were handcrafted by someone who whispers affirmations to cocoa beans. And the whole place smells like childhood, holidays, and good decisions. If joy had a storefront, it would be this See's. I walked out with a bag full of treats and a heart full of joy. read more

I've made multiple last minute stops here recently for last-minute holiday gifts. First, a shout-out to BARBARA at See's Candies! She's got that chocolate hospitality on lockdown. This lady is like the ultimate chocolate hostess with the mostess. She's not just helpful; she's like a chocolate ninja! She helped me score the perfect gifts (dude, I found the absolute PERFECT mug at See's!). Even though the place is PACKED, their peanut butter brittle, milk chocolate buttercreams and peppermint twists are worth the line. TIP: Next time you're brewing your favorite cup of coffee, add a peppermint twist to add the wow to your holiday cup of joe. read more

This See's Candy and the ladies who work there are the absolute best. The shop is clean and welcoming, but what makes it special is the staff. They have treated myself and my father so well for so many years. Now that my dad can't come in for himself, I go in for him. Christina, Selena, and the other ladies still remember him and ask about him. These ladies deserve some recognition for their kindness, patience with shoppers, and fabulous service. read more

Great, friendly service, big selection, fully staffed so service is quick. Chocolates are always good quality and delicious. I wrote a review earlier this month but failed to highlight an employee who excels at her job. Her name is Michelle and she never fails to greet me cheerfully, advertise new products, remind me of coupons, and help me find exactly what I need for my students and staff. The day before Mother's Day the store was understandably busy. Michelle was busy filling orders at a break neck speed, and she still made time to greet each person entering the store. She also professionally let people know where to line up in this very small store. You are fortunate to have someone like Michelle representing See's Candies. Take good care of her! :) read more

It was after lunch, and I needed a dessert. I saw a Sees candy by my girl's house. I only get Dark chocolate Pecan buds because it's my mom's favorite candy. Today, I decided to get wild and sample an Almond Bud. The coolest and cutest lady ever, Kathy, helped me out. I told Kathy that the almond bud tastes a lot like the almond snickers bar. I never knew this, but Kathy told me that Sees has candy bars. She almost convinced me to buy a box. She knows I like caramel and pecans. She also almost had me buy a pecan butter scotch bar. At this time, I am loving Kathy. She is an expert at picking things that will appeal to your palate. We cracked a few jokes and laughed so hard. What a great lady. I could be friends with her. I wound up leaving with so much candy because I wanted to stay in speak with her longer. Such an amazing person. If you are reading this review, please visit Kathy, buy some stuff from her and tell her that you love her. She's incredible. read more

I contemplated leaving this review, but I have been bothered by my experience here since Christmas Eve, 12/24/23. The way that the manager was speaking to the other employees was deplorable, especially around the holidays. It was busy per usual (I go here often) but this is not the first time that I have heard Nancy speak rudely to her team members, or even other customers. She was nearly yelling at one team member and aggressively grabbed the sample tray from her. I am in HR in my company, and if this behavior was reported to me, she would AT MINIMUM be removed from managing other team members. Normally I do not leave reviews like this, but I have not returned to this location just because I do not want to feel uncomfortable like this again. read more

Christina waz super nice and helpful. We had a blast shopping for our candy today. Always enjoy the free samples. Love going to Sees!

Very friendly service. Grace and Victoria are phenomenal!! Store is always clean and the selection is generous.

I'm not sure how these places stay in business. $25 for 1 lb of candy seems so ridiculous to me, but I'm glad that somehow someone is able to afford this. The lines weren't too bad and I bought something that my boss could give to someone. Personally, I would rather have the cash. Lol But I do love their Bordeaux candy (soft, no nuts- and sprinkles on top!) lol A dollar for the ribbon on the box! Damn, just so ridiculous! Oh well, Merry Christmas from me- the grinch. read more

About 3 weeks ago, I came to this See's to buy a giftcard for my Sees-aholic sister and was having a bad day. I was helped by Lacey, who was just awesome. She handed me my favorite (Scotchmallow) to sample. She was kind and before I left, she gave me another...she was just so nice and although she didn't say anything must have sensed my mood. Two weeks later I was craving See's, so I stopped by and was feeling way better. I saw Lacey and spoke to her and thanked her for being so nice that day. I noticed another employee working nearby whose ears seemed to perked up once I started to speak. I asked and yes, she was the manager. They both were just so nice, professional and uplifting. I got my candy and left there feeling like these ladies were crisis counselors with candy :) Thank you See's for making the best chocolate in the world and for hiring these wonderful ladies...I am grateful. read more

COVID-19 Only 3 customers allowed at a time, others must wait outside. You must wear a mask just as the employees are. We were able to custom built our box or purchase a prepacked one. For those that would rather purchase online and pickup in the store, you have that option as well. read more

Nothing more frustrating than not being listened to by someone that is supposed to be providing you with a service! My family and I have routinely purchased See's Candy multiple times per year for the past 35 years. Today was the only time that I recall having a very frustrating experience. When I arrived, no one was in line but I stood away from the glass waiting to be called. Michelle G. said she could assist me. When I walked forward it appeared she was still doing something else behind the counter. Michelle asked what size box I wanted. She was still focused on her previous task and pretended she could not find the appropriate box. Her hands were visible and full from the task she had been working on. When I requested items such as milk chocolate almond, peppermint patties and other flavors that are sold with two in one cup, she asked if I wanted one or two. I pointed out two pieces of candy come in 1 cup so I just want one. We repeated this same issue at least three times. Each time I pointed out I wanted one cup which contains 2 pieces of candy. While I was still ordering, she asked her co-worker to do something unrelated to my order or any other client. Since Michelle was focused on something other than me, she had to ask me to repeat my selections. I told her I don't know which ones you have packed and which ones you missed. If she had been focused on me versus talking to her colleague, she would have heard and retained what I had requested. I asked for a separate bag with a few pieces. She made a comment about being able to put multiple pieces in the bag. My response was, yes I am aware. Michelle asked what occasion the candy was for and I replied saying, Father's Day. When I got home, I discovered she wrapped it in ugly plain white paper. Why wrap a white box in white paper??? I have ALWAYS been given a choice of wrapping paper. I would have definitely chosen the black and white check. The wrapping was horrible too! It was not tight and looked like it had been wrapped by someone without any experience. I will most likely re-wrap it myself to make it look more presentable and appealing. Upon checking out, I was using gift cards I had purchased at Costco. One card appeared to be empty but she had me swipe it a second time. Michelle asked if she could throw away the card. I said, no I want to keep it. Michelle followed up by saying there was not a balance. Once again, I asked for the card. Why is she arguing with me instead of returning the card to me? Michelle said the gift card number used for purchase is on the receipt and said she would point it out. I said, I am familiar and can find it. After the receipt printed, she circled the number and told me there is an 800# I can call. Talking about missing cues! I clearly indicated I am familiar, yet she is still making me wait while she goes on about something I did not ask about. Finally I had to ask for my receipt so I could leave. As I left, I pointed out we had been out of sync the entire time. I could tell she thought I was the issue! Talk about being clueless as to what your customer wants. The store in Redlands ALWAYS provides impeccable service, even during this past year with CovID restrictions. read more
