We were searching for a company or person to make wedding nvites for my brother & his fiancee. I searched thru Yelp and came across Delights. I called, was greeted by Ms Peggy and was able to book an appt nxt day. I went w/couple for appt and we shared our mutual ideas, colors, etc and Ms Peggy showed us various designs to choose from. We walkd out after appt feeling confident with our choices we made and couldn't wait to see the final product. Ms. Peggy was very communicative when it came to proofreading everything and making sure the wording was to their liking. She does the actual printing, typing & assembling of invites. For the invite covers, she has her trusted vendors to order from. When we received the finished invites, bride 2 b said, "Oh wow, this is so beautiful!" You won't be disappointed w/Ms Peggy, she knows her business and now she's my go to for future events, thnx again Ms Peggy!

Wow, Wow and Wow again!!!! I can not express to you how wonderful, Amazing and simple the process was to work with Peggy @ Delights & Invites. Literally walked in their for our first meeting just to see what she had to offer and walked out a little less than an hour later with our order in place. She asked just a few basic questions about the wedding, date, names etc...basic stuff, she took that information and turned it in to the most amazing invitations I have ever seen! The quality of the paper, the soft touch to them, the elegant writing, I mean I just can't say enough about them. Waaaaay better than I was expecting!!!! Every person we sent an invitation too had just GREAT things to say about them!! I've attached a couple pictures but believe me when I tell you the pictures do it no justice!!! I will ALWAYS come back to Peggy when the need arises, loyal customer for life!!!!

My husband and I worked with many great vendors when planning our wedding, but Peggy was our favorite on so many levels. We planned our wedding from a different state, and so had limited time to meet with vendors whenever we were in town. Peggy was so accommodating, sometimes rearranging her schedule and even meeting with us after hours. And when we were away, she was always a text, email, or phone call away. It didn't take long for us to see that she goes to the ends of the earth for her couples, and wanted to make our day special and memorable. When we first met with Peggy she showed us some of the invitations she had done for past weddings, and of course we immediately fell in love with one of the more expensive designs--a gorgeous folded invitation with a pocket on the inside. As is the case with most couples, we were on a budget, and invitations were one of the things that we simply could not splurge on. We explained our situation to Peggy, and she immediately brainstormed how we could get a similar design (with the pocket on the back of our invitations) that would bring the cost down. That was all we needed to hear. We were sold. The final result was absolutely stunning. Peggy took her time in understanding our style, color palette, and what we were generally looking for in our invitations. The result: the timeless, elegant invitations we had dreamed of. My husband and I had picked the fonts, the wording, the metallic paper. But still, when she first showed me the completed product, I could not believe how gorgeous they were. Then, my second thought was that I hoped our actual wedding would live up to how gorgeous these invitations were! Top-notch quality, and did I say beautiful design? After we saw our invitations, we knew Peggy had to do the escort cards and notes that we would attach to our favors. (On a side note, Peggy also has a great selection of wedding favors in store.) Our favors were two-cup/saucer espresso sets, and the original plan was to attach a single tag with seating assignments printed on the front and our note on the back. As Peggy was preparing to work on them, she noticed that on the back of each box there was an ugly black stamp. I had noticed it, but didn't stop to think that there might be a way to hide it. But Peggy suggested that we could put our note on the back of the box to cover up the stamp, and put the seating assignment on a separate card on the front. A perfect solution, and a beautiful result. Guests loved the favors, and loved the fact that the two cards matched our invitations. And we were so grateful for Peggy's conscientiousness and attention to detail. If you're planning a wedding (or any event) and really want to make an impression with your stationery, stop in to see Peggy at Delights and Invites. She is incredibly creative and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to wedding etiquette. You will not be disappointed. Highly, highly recommend.

Such a Charming Local Shop -- Especially for Jellycat Lovers!…read more on my hunt to create the perfect Jellycat gift basket, and this shop was one of the few places in the area that actually carries Jellycats -- so of course we had to stop by again for their holiday drop! The owners of this cozy holiday gift shop are incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even more fun. Knowing that they host events throughout the year is definitely a plus -- it makes the shop feel like a place you want to come back to over and over again. The holiday Jellycat release was honestly such a cute experience. We waited about an hour before opening, and they greeted everyone with apple cider and snacks, which was such a thoughtful touch. It made the wait feel festive and exciting. Once inside, we got to browse all the adorable Jellycats and holiday goodies at our own pace and pick out exactly what we wanted. One thing I really appreciated was the value of the Jellycats they carry -- the pieces were in perfect condition, and because many of them are limited in quantity or harder to find, it made the purchase feel even more special If you're decorating your home for the season, looking for sweet gifts, or you're a fellow Jellycat collector, this shop is absolutely worth visiting. We'll definitely be back for more holiday finds and future drops!

Allie's also doubles as a USPS office, if you want to drop off mail, or need stamps. Once a year I hit a Hallmark, to check out their new Christmas ornaments offerings. I never get tired of this. This year, I picked up two Star Trek ones. See attached. Surprisingly, I grabbed the last ones. Seems the NYCC had them for attendees. Grrr. See attached photos. I found everyone friendly and helpful. They even offered to check for more in the storage area, but I was good. Prices are inline with other retailers and the same for online purchases. Nice!

On Saturday, February 7th, I visited the Hallmark store located at the Riverside location with my mother and her friend. From the moment we entered, we were met with prolonged staring from employees that made us feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. We are all Hispanic, and the attention we received felt noticeably different from how other white passing customers were treated. When we asked an employee whether a product was available in a larger size, the response was a curt and passive-aggressive "no." When I followed up by asking where we might be able to find a larger size, the employee responded, "mmm you can maybe try Walmart," in a condescending tone. The interaction was dismissive, unprofessional, and humiliating. Retail employees are not required to have all products in stock--but they are expected to treat customers with respect. The way we were spoken to, combined with the initial staring, made us feel stereotyped and disrespected in a space that should be welcoming to everyone. I wanted to bring this to your attention because Hallmark presents itself as a brand centered on kindness and inclusivity. This experience did not reflect those values, and I hope it is taken seriously. I would appreciate knowing how this concern will be addressed moving forward.
