Since my fiance is a computer scientist and I'm a chemist working with semiconductors, we requested unique table signs with elemental symbols of Group III-V elements and other semiconductor elements. After some email exchanges, Lauren quickly designed the table signs (as requested). We weren't as particular with our other signs, so those contained floral decor reminiscent of our plum and ivory color scheme. We knew we needed flowers, and there were six florists to choose from. But we wanted to support our local community in Riverside, and The Natural of Things was a local favorite, owned by a mother and daughter. I reached out to the flower shop and spoke with Mandy. After sending her our inspiration wedding flower arrangement photos she was on it with the photos. My wedding was on December 20, 2025, which is winter, so I asked Mandy about spring flowers for my bouquets. I wanted peonies, roses, protea, ranunculus, hanging amaranthus, astilbe, hypericum, snapdragons, antique carnations, variegated ti leaf, nagi leaf, and camellia leaf. All the bouquets would be tied with a magenta silk ribbon, and I would have handles for the maid of honor and bridesmaids. For the groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers, I wanted like lapel boutonnieres made with coordinating florals and botanicals, tied with a magenta silk ribbon handle. I asked Mandy for a lot, and she assured me she'd do her best to create the flowers for me. Throughout the process, Mandy kept us in the loop with clear communication. As the wedding date approached, she emailed us the proposal for our review. It was an impressive proposal, detailing the expected average weather temperature: 68 degrees (high) and 46 degrees (low) in December, along with the floral lists. It was so detailed and organized, it was amazing! On our wedding day, we arranged for the flowers to be delivered to our home. We met with Mandy and Dawn who were absolutely wonderful! They took the time to show us how to pin the lapel boutonnieres on our jackets. Plus, they were so careful to keep all the flowers in a separate vase of water. Dawn explained how I should hold my bouquets, and I have to say, my bouquets were heavy with all the beautiful magenta flowers and their lovely fragrance. When I handed out the flowers to my maid-of-honor and bridesmaids, they couldn't believe how beautiful they were--and the groom, best man, groomsmen, and ushers were just as impressed. I went to yelp and found Daisy Kart Florist and gave them a call around 3pm (they close at 4pm). The gentlemen I spoke with was super nice and empathetic to me getting scammed and wanted to help. I asked if they could deliver to my wife's office in Eastvale and told them the place closed at 5pm and they agreed, helped me pick which arrangement over the phone (looked through the website with me and made suggestions) and called me around 4:30pm to confirm that the delivery would happen with an ETA of 4:50pm. That situation speaks for itself. Great service and they'll be my main florist to use for my wife moving forward. It's hard to find a place you can trust these days.
