I work down the street from this Target. I love going to different Targets to check out the different selections. For some reason this one sometimes has better clothes than the Manhattan Beach Target. But the Manhattan Beach Target has better bikinis. This is a large location that also has some groceries. The parking is aplenty and it seems there is always need for it. The place seems constantly busy. I've never personally had exceptional service here and it looks like most the employees are more interested in looking busy than actually going out of their was to help customers. I don't mind cause I like being left alone. read more

This Target has a great location by a mall and a grocery store called Sprouts. It is located on the 2nd floor above its own parking lot. The staff at this location were very helpful and friendly. The line was a bit long due to Covid 19 restrictions. The store was well stocked and the long line to make purchaes did move pretty quickly. I will be back when I'm in the area. read more

I like this Target best in the area as it is not as busy as the one at Del Amo unless it's peak hours. They're open from 8am till Midnight, so great for a quick late-night run with easy parking where you can be in and out in half an hour. Always well-stocked with easy returns, which is appreciated, 2 grocery options just around the corner, too, for things still needed (Sprouts and Ralphs). read more

This use to be my go to store but today has by far been the worst service ever . Let me start off by saying I'm in crutches. Walk in with the expectation that they will have electronic scooters. With my surprise they only have one & it's NOT charged . Asked an employee if that happens to be the only one cause it's dead & he simply decides to check & say " oh yeah it is dead " ( sigh ). doesn't even bother to put it to charge either . Having to cut my trip short , while at the register the cashier decides to hand me the bags CLEARLY SEEING MY TWO HANDS ARE OCCUPIED WITH MY CRUTCHES!! We shop here for Memorial Day sale! We walk in around noonish into a clean,well organize and bright store. Everything advertise was on the shelves which is a plus! The sales where great, I save about $10 bucks. I also browse threw the clothes section and happy to see all the hip and new styles. Walking to threw the aisles I didn't see enough employees being a holiday, which wasn't helpful since I needed help with a stock check and looking for a store pager is not what I like to do. Besides only complaint the cashiers and staff where pleasant and welcoming. This Target has it's private lot and doesn't share the spots with other stores. We went here last night to pick up a few things. Most shelves were empty of things I needed and didn't need. Was in line at check out and the lady was taking a picture of each item she had in her basket and there was a lot! Takes a lot for me to get annoyed with store clerks or even write a public negative review. They are just doing their job or was told by their upper managers what to do. THAT DOES NOT EXCUSE IGNORANCE AND PRIDE. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM KYLE, the "Leader On Duty" or LOD, the person in charge at the time. The young girl in Guest Services is only doing what she thinks she should do and is scared of getting in trouble for doing something against store policy. Understandable. She calls her LOD, Kyle. I was told by him to "go to another store!" No, I'm not going anywhere, Kyle you need to learn your own company's store policy! After giving him suggestions and possible solutions regarding the store's policy, he becomes rude, abrasive and confrontational. Looks like someone needs to be retrained in basic customer service, and watch the employee training video again. You don't simply walk away from a customer, dare them to do something and leave them standing around. After 15 minutes, another Guest Services clerk by the name of Carlos tries to help, find the answers, and actually know the price match policy. Apologizes (which wasn't necessary or even on him) about the situation and TRIES TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE! Promote this kid please! All Kyle had to do was make a simple phone call or take any of the solutions I suggested, but instead, let pride and ignorance get the better of him. All Kyle had to do was make a simple phone call to double check but refused, and firmly refused. Pride? Ignorance? Both? And as Kyle rudely and arrogantly retorted, I did follow up and reported this to regional, corporate as well as online. 10.8.13. This location is kind of small!! Perhaps it's because this location is right across from South Bay Galleria which also has a Target store as an anchor store...weird. The configuration of this Targ is also quite interesting. It appears multi-story but it's really only one level raised above a parking area--creating "covered parking". When you enter from the parking level you'll go up an escalator to get to the actual store. What I found was neat was the installation of shopping cart escalators--that was the first time I had seen that & I was fascinated!! ...clearly, that is not a common sight in the islands...in fact I don't think there are any of those that exist in any kind of store here haha. It totally makes sense for this multi-level configuration--genius! I bet the maintenance is a pain though... As for the goods, like I mentioned above, this location is pretty small so I felt the selection wasn't as great. YUCK!!! Their women's bathroom is FILTHY!!!! Fences all over the toilet seats, menstrual napkins hanging out everywhere!!! Very unsanitary.

The young lady who was manning the self check out was very rude. I asked if I could please have a bag when I began scanning my items and without making eye contact she said "yeah, when I have a minute." She then handed me a bag and told me to make sure to pay for it! The register already prompts you to confirm how many bags you have used, so why verbalize it? It's insulting and demeaning. Then, I asked for a target.com price match and was told "we don't do that at self check-out. If you want a price match you can either pay at a register or finish the transaction and go to customer service." I was surprised since I've don't this many times at this location along with Manhattan Beach so I asked since when? She laughed at me and said "we have signs all over, it's been months." There was no sign posted within sight of the register I was at. While I understand that with covid retailers have to adjust operations to keep up with the demands, this makes absolutely no sense. read more

Like this Target, it's weird I started this tradition where this is my Target Christmas store! I literally drive 1/2 hour here. Always have stocked stuff, large, lots of parking. Scanners everywhere. Employees friendly. But CON: lines check out, you can't get to the front part of check out bc the 2nd check out line is so narrow you can't fit through with your cart. Annoying. Fix this pls. Super convenient by work. Love that they are opened late. Bought a ton of things for my new apartment and loved that they had a lot of deals going on. Bought a filing cabinet for $37 that would normally be $65 and up. Even after saving money, I still walked about spending over $150. Went to the Target in Torrance and the associate there was helpful calling different Targets to find an item for me. When they called this locations Guest Service no one answered the phone so I headed over there because their device said they had a lot of the item in stock. I called while I was going up the escalator to see why they wouldn't answer the phone. The volume on the phone was all the way down this was on 01/11/2021 around 8pm. They weren't even busy, no line, nothing. What the point of having Guest Service if you aren't gonna answer questions? Also you associates are not wearing name badges. read more

I usually come to this Target first thing on a Saturday or Sunday morning (they open at 8am). At that time the aisles are clean and pretty stocked. It seems though that I always still have to wait in line -even at that hour! It does have a Starbucks in it, so that helps. I find that the selection is a little more broad than the Target in Manhattan Beach, and for the most random items. How many facings does a store need of pet odor spray/cleaners? This is our local Target, and I would say we go there at least once per week. It can be good, bad, and ugly, like every other Target. Would have to agree with some other reviewers about the checkout line management. It has improved dramatically, and if you see huge lines I recommended that you head straight to customer service and alert them. I would not get any of the meats, however. We've had nothing but bad experiences. That said, the pharmacy is ridiculously awesome. We've filled so many prescriptions there over the last few years and have never had an error. Jeff and Aurore are simply the best, friendly, and knowledgeable pharmacists. Returns are easy with receipts. Lots of clearance steals if you know where to look. Photo is quick, just try to avoid the photo printers first thing when they open - sometimes they need to reboot and it can take lots of time. The layout is pretty standard, and they've upgraded the grocery section. Stuff still moves around frequently, but I've always been able to find an associate for help. Starbucks is nice if you like that, have not tried the cafe. Electronics section is good, associates are helpful on the phone when trying to see if shipments have arrived for the new hotness in gaming. Overall a good Target! read more

The first thing I do when entering Target here at Redondo Beach is shopping at the $1 Section. Then I visit the Clearance section in every department. I love saving money! I love their stuff! You find many great things there. All their products are well stocked and neatly stacked on the shelves. I always shop with my Target reusable bags - love them. I enjoy the food court when I'm done shopping. A nice way to relax and end your shopping experience at Target. They have lots of parking spaces available. A cart escalator for your cart if you dont want to go on the elevator. Love this place! read more

Unisex bathroom is "out of order".. In the men's restroom, one stall is also "out of order" and the handicapped accessible, restroom lock is held together with zip ties... I could understand finding one issue, but multiple issues and no maintenance guy in sight? read more

The store is well stocked and conveniently located. Employees aren't very friendly or interactive with customers. Recent experience with two terrible employees here and have told myself I won't be going to this location anymore. First: the power went out - I know not target's fault - but the girl behind the register literally stood there put her hands in her red jacket pockets and literally stared off into space. Power came back in and her register was taking forever to reboot and and other employees (managers?) were coming by but no one acknowledged the customers at the register or tried to help us/move us to another line (which all other registers seemed to be working). Power went off again a few minutes later so I had to leave. Second on another visit I was leaving the store struggling with my shopping cart, my two year old son, and my pregnant belly and saw an employee in the parking lot. I was going to ask him for help. I said, "excuse me..?" He responded by saying, "Sorry, I'm off." And kept walking. Wow. Just wow. Thanks a lot. I came here around 9:30 pm today and after getting things that I needed, I went to cashier name Herbert. He told us that his lane was closed so we moved to other cashier. This is my favorite target. I have several other Targets closer to me, but honestly this is by far the cleanest, well served, and strategically placed store out of all the ones in the South Bay. Like all other targets, they have everything. However, they don't have my face scrub. Well none of the ones in SB! Oddly enough, I had to travel to a target in the hood to get it. I suppose poor folks don't care for that brand. Anyway, same as what everyone else says, garage parking, eatery, pretty straight forward. So yesterday I went in to return a Cat & Jack sweater and pants. I walked around to see if I found the right size I was looking for. I left the store thinking I'll just keep the ones I returned, so I called Target and was transferred from the fitting rooms to customer service, I asked if I can go back to repurchase the outfit I had returned they said okay will keep it here in customer service until 11pm. I went in an hour later and they said they didnt hold the clothing items for me. I was disappointed because they specifically told me they would hold on to it. I was at this Target the other day and had an amazing experience in the electronics department. I was having issues with my Wii U and Brandin had explained to me the current state of the wii u and how I could fix my problem. Several minutes later I was over by the storage bins. He walked by and asked if everything was okay. I had asked him where the tape measures were and he walked with me over to the other side of the store. About fifteen minutes later I couldn't find paper clips so I went to electronics and asked Brandin. He pulled out a little phone-like device and located the item. He walked with me over to the school supply section and found the paper clips. I told him I was surprised he was able to help me out in other departments. He said guest service is his prime directive and everything else comes after and that he was more than happy to help. I'm glad to see that Target emphasises customer service over having employees call other employees. It was refreshing and nice to know that he knew his job. read more

Since Covid 19 began a few months ago I began using the drive up. It's convenient for me because i have two small toddlers. I haven't had an issue up until yesterday. I pull up to the drive up parking slots and there is not one slot available. I wait and finally there was a drive up slot available. I check in after 30 minutes a Target employee comes up to the car and asked what name. I tell the employee the name. A few seconds later he comes back with an incorrect name. Not even close. I drive off and when I get home I check my order. An item was missing and my children's snacks were in the bag with the multi purpose clorox and smashed. I call the store and speak to someone in guest services. The person on the other line asks me to hold while they "look" for my item. After 15 minutes on hold I hand up. I attempt to call for an hour and surprise, surprise no answer. I decide to call the store today and the guest service "Manager" I spoke to once not comprehending what I was saying. She wanted me to return the missing item so I can get my refund. How can I return something I never received. She than tells me she really doesn't know how the missing item situation works because she's never experienced that. I was able to get a refund after having to contact the Target Corporation which I must say was very helpful. I've already received an email notification that my refund is in process. I think I've put an end to my weekly drive ups at this Redondo location. read more
