I love this target for the wide array of products offered. It is superior in selection and layout to that of the Manhattan Beach location. The grocery department is massive and full of fresh produce and everything needed for baking. You can't beat their prices for eggs- no one offers them cheaper than Target. While it may seem strange to go to Target for eggs, I think they are great. They even have a pretty comprehensive alcohol selection and the prices are relatively competitive however I will continue to purchase my alcohol at Trader Joes. The kitchen products and homewares selection is pretty decent as well. I do wish they carried a greater selection of pyrex and Tupperware. I still have to buy these items at Amazon. The employees are a little out of it over here but well intentioned. It is generally better to figure things out on your own ie. when you discover a product deficiency when standing in the checkout line go back and get a replacement instead of waiting 15 minutes for an employee to try to locate it and bring it to you. Since this location is quite expansive- it may be tempting to order pickup online, but if you do, you generally do not receive the sale/discount prices that would apply if you shopped in the store. read more

JOHN is the absolute WORST cashier I have ever encountered. JOHN has HORRIBLE customer service-- it's a disservice to Target to have him work for their company. JOHN made me feel UNCOMFORTABLE and HUMILIATED when he made UNNECESSARY AND UNCOMFORTABLE remarks concerning my purchase. To add to it, as I was reaching into my purse for my card he started asking the people behind me if they needed bags for their purchases and other questions-- WHILE I WAS STILL THEIR AND HAD NOT PAID. After waiting in a very long line as usual the credit card reader would not accept my card, despite it working everywhere else. The cashier was not even a little bit helpful and I ended up having to walk away from all the groceries etc I spent over a half hour gathering. I realize hiring friendly cashiers is a challange but for real Target needs to fix those card readers. Seriously no way to slide the card if it's not reading the chip? I don't really understand why this Target location doesn't have a higher rating but this one is awesome! And the employees were so nice and helpful! Plus the store is a lot bigger! When I first came here I got lost and my phone battery died so I stopped by this Target to get a charger and I wanted to buy so much more since they had more stuff than the other Targets that I go too! I did a spreadsheet. Walmart may SEEM cheaper but it's only usually about 20 cents cheaper. Not by much. I dig Target. In my twisted world, Target is classy. It's cleaner, well lit, and doesn't make me feel like I'm walking in a middle america warehouse. Target has really cute home furnishings. I bought half my apartment here, the other half on Craigslist. Make sure you check for their sales items at the end of the aisles. Service? Ehh. Well, it really depends. Everyone that DOESN'T work at electronics are helpful and nice. They help me find things and are almost competent. Screw you Electronics Boy. It helps when you are knowledgeable on your products. No a plasma is NOT the same as LCD. Yes, it makes a big difference to me whether the TV is HD ready. I'm electronically challenged and I know that. And NO you can't come over to "watch TV sometime". Perv. Oh, the food court redeems Target. You can get popcorn and a slushie for like a dollar. I haven't had slushies since high school. read more

Target! I love Target. This target isn't as large as some others in the South Bay but it is by no means small. It is located adjacent to South Bay Galleria and there is parking both uncovered and covered which is perfect for the 2 rainy days of the year. Hehe they have a wide array for items food, clothes, electronics... Whatever you need. Here the down fall for the ladies... I don't know what the issue is but they always run out of nail polish (at least the good colors). Not like sometimes, but very very frequently. Not sure if this ordering issue or every single person buys nail polish here. So minus one star for that. Also, I look for clothes for some of my fam and their plus size section for clothes is abysmal. I wish they would carry more options and more quality of the options they do have. So minus one star for that also. All and all, it's target. The place you can't get out of for under 100 bucks per trip. LOL read more

This Target is interesting because it's actually up on the second floor. So when you enter the front doors you have to take the escalators up a floor. The good thing, though, is that there's plenty of parking down in the parking structure downstairs or in the big parking lot adjacent. It's right next to the South Bay Galleria and other shopping plazas so it's pretty convenient as far as location. I was there to pick up an online order. As soon as I took the escalator upstairs I saw a large sign on the wall for order pickups, so that was easy. I got in line and waited my turn. It was a short wait but after a few minutes another clerk came to open a second register and I was then helped. All I had to do was provide my driver's license and they went in back to get my order, and that was it - all set! Very easy. read more

Don't let the two stories fool you. The bottom is just a lobby and escalator/elevator entrance. Pretty standard Target. Their plus-size clothing selection is large and well-stocked. Avoid the Starbucks at all costs. Ugh! Aside from horrific service, it's dirty. They don't use metal thermoses for the creamer, so it's just sitting on the condiment bar at room temperature which is a HUGE no-no. And all the sweetener packets had coffee spilled on them. I tried to get the barista's attention but he was too busy chatting with other Target employees. Oops. Was this an employee-only coffee fortress? My bad. I'll quit bothering you while you're at work, on the sales floor and on the clock. UPDATE - I regularly use coupons (and save about 25% btw) and this location is much better about coupons than the Manhattan Beach location. Just a note - their register prints things in a really strange manner. It shows the item with the coupon scanned underneath, but then states the normal price of the item. I had to call their Customer Care line and then came back and consulted with someone at the store's Guest Services desk. Turns out, it gets deducted from your total (I checked the math), even though the regular price of the item is printed. It's annoying, but whatever. read more

Good parking, good location. I love that this Target has groceries now at a better price than some supermarkets. Always clean and organized, staff is friendly. I only have two complaints: 1) not enough registers are open. Other Targets that I have been to would open more when it starts filling up, but most times I go only two are open and I can be in line for 10 minutes. 2) One girl from guest services. She always has a bad attitude and obviously annoyed at her job and the guests that she interacts with. I thought it was just an off day for her, but I've been there a few times and it's always the same thing. Overall, this is a pretty nice Target and one of my favorites. read more

I really like this Target. I'm probably here at least once per week. There's always great sales going on, and I've definitely found some cute clothes in the clearance section. Good stuff! I do much of my grocery shopping here as well. The prices aren't too bad for the things that are normally on my list (i.e., fruits, veggies). Since it's located right next to the South Bay Galleria, there's plenty of parking. I'm not sure how it is around the holiday season though, but I've so far haven't had issues coming around here after work or in the morning on weekends if need be. read more

Most Targets have the same or similar lay out. This one has a weird layout- the grocery section is cut off from some of the store- which makes it harder to scan the entire store. I don't like the feel of the parking structure. It seems to be dimly lit. The customer service at this location is lacking. Oftentimes I can't find an associate- at all- and I just give up on finding an item. It's actually the closest Target to my house, but I rather drive out to the MB location because it feels safer. read more

Just another typical target. What's cool about this specific one though is that the store is located on the 2nd floor right above the parking lot. This place can be really crowded most of the times maybe because it's the only Target nearby or it is right next to the South Bay Galleria Mall. The food place could use a little improving like more seats and someone cleaning more often. They also have a Starbucks here as well. Most staff is friendly here and would actually do something to help you. Most asiles are stocked, clean and organized, but the high traffic areas are the beauty and grocery sections of this store. Restrooms (located to the right of the escalator once you go upstairs from parking lot) are kept clean constantly which is great. Overall, this is a great Target store. read more

For me this Target is a hit or a miss when I'm shopping for Disney Cars die cast toys. This Target has plenty of parking. It also has a small food area and a Starbucks for you coffee lovers. Overall the store is well stocked and super clean. This store is my backup Target when my local store has not been restocked. read more

My wife purchased a number of items. The total seemed more expensive than she would have expected but didn't question it and headed out to the car with the two kids. She then noticed a $25 electronic item on the receipt. She didn't purchase any electronic item. She went back in asking what the deal was. They couldn't tell her what the item was and made her wait a long time while security apparently reviewed the transaction. They finally told her the check out person accidentally swiped "something" that the person in front of my wife had already bought. Super sketchy watch your receipts closely because at least at this point in time there may be a rogue checkout person adding extra stuff to your charges. No apologies or empathy for waiting with the two kids. Really weird. read more

It's not a Target Greatland, but the locals recommended this one over the Torrance location. I can see why...Not only is it newer, it's a two-story structure with parking below, a full eatery, pharmacy and photo lab. The photo service area is its own department, with surprising number of stations for self-serve as well. The helpfulness of the staff gives them huge brownie points. We had to make two trips over a recent wedding weekend and were given and shown a number of different options for everything from towels for the beach to digital and disposable camera options. When grabbing some toiletries, an employee mentioned she had just stocked minis of the same product a few aisles over. Local places to hang out were also offered - which Yelp-types always like to hear about! read more

Bad bad staff, we went here today, a pack of broking ketchup on the floor. My husband slipped hurt his leg, so lucky he was next to me and he grabbed me and he didn't fall but two of his legs spread, hope he is ok tomorrow. When we walked to the staff, the first one, we told her the pack of ketchup broke on the Floor and it was everywhere on the floor, my husband slipped. She said ok and walked away, even asked nothing if he is ok, when we said to her thank you for asking if he is ok, and then she walked to another second staff said that the problem and the second did the same thing asa the first one, I was so upset. I know it was an accident but They didn't even care for the clients or make sure he is ok. They could do better then that. So not happy with their customers service. I know not all their staff are bad, but this two will ruin the others staffs name. Sorry hope they get train better. read more

I think this Target is the best Target I've ever been to, and I've been to a handful. The parking is never a problem, it doesn't get too crowded, and the place is immaculately clean whenever I go. I was looking for an item that the online store had indicated they had in stock, but I couldn't find it in the aisle. Apparently they were just about to restock when I went. Luckily, one of the employees was very accommodating and went out of his way to get one for me from the stockroom. I've been to other locations, and I was confused as to how everything is laid out. The layout of this Target is very easy to follow. This is my go-to for almost everything I need. It's a one-stop shop. read more

Went earlier today with my boyfriend for some last minute shopping and we decided to go through self check out. I scanned everything in my cart but the woman working self check out kept coming up to us asking if we scanned certain things which obviously we did. Then as we finished paying and were walking away she stopped us to check our receipt and cart to make sure we paid for everything. Mind you she only stopped me and my boyfriend... I'm obviously a person of color. She didn't stop anyone else or wasn't bugging anyone else at self check out, just my boyfriend and I. It's very upsetting because I come here all the time and that was not a good feeling. It's embarrassing having her stop us and have everyone look at us as if we stole something. read more

I would like this review based on one particular employee, and hopefully he will get some recognition... I've been to many Targets in my lifetime, and for the most part customer service has been, eh. They seemed mostly focused on making you sign up for a red card, and would hardly look up. This one today, however, made my day. I was there picking up a few items, one of them being a 40lb bag of dog food. The cashier, Will (a tall caucasian man) was very pleasant. He commented about the dog food, and we had a pleasant convo regarding dogs. He was very courteous, always had a smile on his face with a great demeanor. Thank you Will, for being awesome. read more

I go there 'cause it is really close to my house. I dropped off some film there the other day, to develop only, no prints... My film came back severely scratched and with more finger prints than a precint desk on a Friday night. Just horrible. They truly embrace the jargon "You get what you pay for" on that location. The staff and the lack of care when handling your merchandise is really upsetting, they should definitely have a self-check out line at this specific store, or hire a life-style coach to help revive the staff! read more

Called target today to inquire about a product. I was on hold for five minutes when a second employee came on the phone. She took the information I was looking for and after over 4 minutes someone else answered the phone. I explained that I had been on the phone for 9 minutes and at that point she hung up. I called back and asked to speak with the manager...she hung up. Finally after three more tries whereby she hung up, I called back and connected with the pharmacy. Finally a gentleman name Luis came on..claiming he was the manager, but I don't think so. He did attempt to help me. I am a Redondo Beach business owner and this isn't the first time I have received this level of customer service. Hopefully the "manager" will view this and check into this. This is a good Target. It's parking lot is very accessible and I've never had a problem finding a good spot. Also, inside it's never very crowded. I think it's smaller than the one on Sepulveda and Madrona, but the little things make it seem like less of a hassle to go to it. At this one, you don't have to avoid people in the parking lot, the lines at the register are never more than two people long, and you don't have people stopping their shopping carts in the middle of an aisle, blocking everything. The one advantage the other Torrance Target has is that I think it has more food, but I don't really buy food at Target, so it's not a concern to me. read more

I literally have been to nicer more organized Target's in more shady and ghetto areas. This Target was a HOT mess. The whole store looked like the aftermath of a Black Friday back in the 90s. Apart from the store being messy af, apparently there is a shortage of employees. I asked 3 different employees to call someone to help my husband and I look for a toy that was marked as available on the Target app, but was no where to be found in the designated area. We waited at least an hour to no avail. All while waiting we saw the manager trying to ask a group of middle school punks to leave because they were using the Target motorized scooters for the handicap to roam the store. They thought it would be funny to knock over merchandise then run it over with the scooters. Never again will we go to this Target, even if it was for store pick up online because you never know how the merchandise was treated in this store. read more

Certainly one of the many "meh" Targets that Americans have the pleasure of setting foot in. The perks of this location are that it's less busy and (therefore) has more parking. The store is also usually more or less organized compared to some of its more disheveled counterparts. The drawbacks are a smaller store footprint which means things tend to go out of stock much more often here, especially sale items. The employees are also slow and indifferent here, which may be an expectation for all shoppers walking into a Tar-jay, but it's worse here than in other locations. Take it for what it is: this is a Target with easier parking + shorter lines + less stuff in stock + employees who are physically at work with their minds elsewhere. read more

This Target has a great location by a mall and a grocery store called Sprouts. It is located on the 2nd floor above its own parking lot. The staff at this location were very helpful and friendly. The line was a bit long due to Covid 19 restrictions. The store was well stocked and the long line to make purchaes did move pretty quickly. I will be back when I'm in the area. read more

My favorite Target in the area. Not only is it fairy new, but it's super large and I'm convinced it carries more items than the one in Torrance. I can never find my contact items in Torrance but this one always has them! This location is unique in that it sits on top of a parking garage, so you need to take an escalator/elevator up when you get inside. On a side note, why do people always stand in the middle of a escalator??? Move over! The only negative are the employees. Like other Target locations, they are disinterested in their job. read more

This target has never let me down. This is my go-to Target for any of my many Target runs. Thy pretty much have everything and it is clearly organized and spaced out so you wouldn't have a hard time find things. I also like this Target because it is pretty spacious despite being on the second level. I like that it is super close to the Galleria and another strip mall so in case thy do not have what you're looking for, you don't need to venture too far. The staff here is pretty friendly and are willing to help you out if you need to find something. read more

I like this Target best in the area as it is not as busy as the one at Del Amo unless it's peak hours. They're open from 8am till Midnight, so great for a quick late-night run with easy parking where you can be in and out in half an hour. Always well-stocked with easy returns, which is appreciated, 2 grocery options just around the corner, too, for things still needed (Sprouts and Ralphs). read more

This use to be my go to store but today has by far been the worst service ever . Let me start off by saying I'm in crutches. Walk in with the expectation that they will have electronic scooters. With my surprise they only have one & it's NOT charged . Asked an employee if that happens to be the only one cause it's dead & he simply decides to check & say " oh yeah it is dead " ( sigh ). doesn't even bother to put it to charge either . Having to cut my trip short , while at the register the cashier decides to hand me the bags CLEARLY SEEING MY TWO HANDS ARE OCCUPIED WITH MY CRUTCHES!! Why not hand it to my husband who can obviously grab the bags with no problem. Mind blown target doesn't have better service. read more

this is definitely a bigger and more well stocked target than the one in torrance. you can pretty much get your daily household things here. price wise it is definitely cheaper than ralph's and albertsons too! staff are well trained and friendly. plenty of covered parking as well as open air lots. the toilets were also impressively clean and well maintained. only it's location is unattractive to me. read more
