Unfortunately the internet, specifically Jeffrey's company, sells similar pieces like this for hundreds of dollars cheaper and it's delivered to your door for free. Although I want to support smaller businesses (been going to plenty to find furniture for my move), the huge price difference for a low middle class person doesn't help. I'm not telling them to lower the prices. Just don't go in here expecting to get a $350 couch (small sectional price at Jeffrey's company), it's more like $800

They unboxed my husband's chair and it was broken. They set up the oversized chair, which so far is fine. The pull out sofa bed was set up as well. The ottoman was not in the delivery. Within one week the sofa was broken. Screws and hinges popped off. Husband contacted West Elm and they told him a part would be ordered or a new couch ordered by May. So, he does not have a chair to sit in, we cannot fold the bed up since it is broken so our living room is not usable, and we do not have any guarantee that this issue will be resolved anytime soon. I do not recommend this company. Prices are high and you do not get what you pay for. Customer service is non existent and quality of product is poor. I think we will return couch and go to Living Spaces.

After dealing with an overcharge on my credit card, I was told I'd receive a call the next day to schedule delivery, which I paid $99 for. That call never came until I followed up on social media three days later. It wasn't until August 27 that I finally heard from someone to schedule the delivery. On September 11, the delivery arrived, but one of the pieces was not what I had ordered. I immediately called customer service and sent photos of the correct item. They did offer to refund the incorrect item, but instead of taking ownership, they made it seem like they were doing me a favor. I also requested a refund of the $99 delivery fee, since the service I paid for (delivering the correct items) wasn't fulfilled. Later, I saw some internal emails by mistake, and it became clear they had no intention of refunding the delivery fee. The whole interaction left me feeling disappointed and puzzled as to why they wouldn't just refund such a small fee to keep a customer. Despite being excited about the furniture itself, this experience has soured me on purchasing from them again. My advice: take photos of everything you buy and be prepared for potential issues. If they're willing to lose a customer over $99, it raises concerns about their overall business practices.

We had a big delivery to Nicholson Canyon and although the big trucks could not make it up the narrow steep hill she quickly made arrangements to have an outside vendor with smaller trucks do the delivery. I am so grateful for her service. In addition Victoria, Sales Manager is very knowledgeable on their outdoor furniture. She made my purchase of cushions for the 4 club chairs we bought at the recent sale very easy. Their outdoor furniture is definitely the best quality and their wholesale price and sales price is definitely competitive. I definitely recommend Teak Warehouse to anyone looking for luxury and quality for their outdoor space.

The owner yelled over "No photos!" I was confused, so explained why I took the picture and even showed her the text I was sending to my wife. She acted very skeptical and said, "Our insurance won't allow photos inside." I tried to be very nice, but she acted very skittish - I was dressed nicely, I don't look threatening or menacing in any way! So I tried to build some trust and explained how i'd been trying to come by for a long time but they were closed and asked if they were on vacation. She didn't choose to answer. I told her I tried calling and left a voicemail, she said she never received any missed calls, acting like I was lying to her. Insulted I felt compelled to show I was telling the truth and showed her on my phone the number of times I called. I don't know what the problem was, but I really tried being nice to her. The entire store has glass windows, everyone can see inside and could take pictures anytime they want to, I don't see how insurance could prevent photos from being taken. Accusing customers of violating some photography rule is not smart business - even after showing her my text to my wife she acted like I was scouting the store to rob it! I almost walked out, but i didn't want to disappoint my wife, so I bought the present since I knew it was something she wanted. But I won't be back and I discourage others from shopping here, there are plenty of other places to buy presents - I tried to support a local business, but maybe this is why people are choosing Amazon and other online businesses, the local owner was not appreciative at all.

He actually listened to what I was looking for, showed me different options, gave good suggestions, and was really informative without making us feel pressured at all. He eventually passed us over to Vilma, who was just as great! She was super sweet, attentive, personable, and really took the time to help us. We basically ended up being some of the last people out of the store, but no one ever made us feel rushed or treated us differently because they were closing. This is my all time favorite shop, very nice staff , local family operated. They matched a sale price I found on a living spaces add and best the price with a nicer quality couch. Don't let the seemingly small shopfront fool you - this place is huge inside and goes wayyy back! A terrific selection of futons and home furnishings. There's even some art and accessories to tempt your eye. The staff was friendly and helpful. I was able to find exactly what I was looking for and no one else could beat their price. Fabric started pilling excessively before 6 months of use. We brought one of the pillows back to their store in Manhattan Beach to show what was happening. They kept the pillow and after several weeks their store manager called saying they agreed to redo the items. Once we picked the replacement fabric Quatrine came up with several invoices charging $500 per pillow and didn't even include the appropriate credit for what we had already paid. We asked them to take the furniture back and they refused it. Something so simple to solve ended up into a nightmare.

On the website the product is rated as: "Bi-Fold Bookcase Wallbeds will hold up to 60 lbs. per bookcase section (240 lbs. total) evenly distributed." I had the company professionally install it as a paid service. I placed around 180 lb of stuff on it, evenly distributed, and it was bringing the door down enough to make the latch on the left door not catch. The reason turned out to be that the floor was uneven and smooth, slippery hardwood, so it was making the side of the bookcase shift and bring the door down farther when it was opened. I contacted the company about this, and while it took quite a while to get proper support (hence the 4 stars), the owners really stood behind the product and were able to send someone out to raise the latch and to also add some shims to prevent it from shifting against the floor. The piece looks and functions great now, supporting all the weight easily. It's a great solution to have a real bed with a real mattress when the room is being used as a guest room, while still being functional as a bookcase when the room is being used as an office.
