The owner Darren was incredibly responsive to questions I had and made sure I received my items prior to my sister's birthday. She is going to love this beautiful mug! They weren't running around, making a mess, or being disruptive in any way. We were all simply browsing the store like normal paying customers. So when an employee came up and told our kids to put the plushies back, it honestly made no sense. If customers can't hold onto items while they shop, maybe that should be posted somewhere. We didn't make a scene -- we just left. But the interaction felt unnecessary, unwelcoming, and honestly pretty off-putting. A decent-sized store should probably know how basic shopping works.

I thought their bedroom slippers, handmade in Japan, were really luxurious, and soft to the touch. The price didn't seem unreasonable for the quality and workmanship. They, obviously, have a lot of foreign tourists visiting the store, but also some locals like me. I would return here in a heartbeat!
