I want to start off by saying that I find this Target location's entrance/exit to be very accessible for my medical needs. There are multiple entrances with disabled parking located just outside the doors, as well as several mobility options to choose from. This includes staircases, escalators, as well as an elevator lift for you to use to access the main shopping floor, which is located on the 2nd floor of this building. I tend to preplan my Target runs because, let's be honest, it's so easy to get drawn into making spontaneous purchases, haha. I enjoyed the selection of goods that this location carries, as some others may only have limited stock. I was able to find what I had planned on buying, some new Levi's, with ease and was grateful for the well stocked display section. I loved that many items were listed as being on sale, adding an extra smile to my visit due to being more valuable/bang for my buck. Using the Target app I was able to quickly navigate the remainder of the store for my other, smaller item needs. The app is extra useful for in-store shopping since it lists the isle letter and number for you, pinpointing exact item locations as well as letting me know if an item is currently sold-out or low-stocked. Many Target team members were out on the floor, cleaning, restocking, and setting up new displays. I felt that every team member that I encountered was warm with greetings and smiles plus being willing to go the extra mile by offering to walk me to items I was I was in search of. This was a lovely bonus. The only negative that I encountered on my visit was that many displays, while stocked with care, were placed too close together. Though the store entrance manages to be made with customers with mobility issues in mind, the sales floor and numerous displays were not. Being placed so close together made it almost impossible to navigate around several displays with a standard shopping cart, let alone for those who need to use a wheelchair or mobility scooter. I often use a cane for walking and found myself needing to scoot sideways between a few sections. I really feel that the retail customer expierience could be improved by spacing out racks/shelves to be more accessible. read more

This Target has a large parking lot on the ground level, and then you need to take the elevator to the store level. It's spacious inside, and easy to navigate around aisles. They have convenient self check out, and customer service is overall friendly. read more

Would not recommend a drive up order for this location. This is my second time in a row doing a drive up order at this location- receiving damaged, expired and bruised food. Last order my bananas were completely brown and the cans were so dented they wouldn't stand in my pantry. Today they gave me milk that was expired by ten days. Target does have an option to report and issue with your order and request a refund (which I received) but unfortunately I am now home with no milk that is good for my baby. PLEASE-if management sees this, please have your employees check the expiration dates. Now I will have to leave my house again to replace these spoiled items. read more

Solidly average Target. I would go and certain shelves weren't fully stocked, and they often didn't have the popcorn at the self checkout by the Starbucks. It's ok, but the deals aren't very good. The everything $10 thrift store in the mall nearby has cooler clothes and better deals. Or even Kohl's. The staff is also a bit unhappy to be there I'd say. Ok for what it is but nothing special. Serveral times Ive done online pick up and drive up orders and I've had missing items every other time. I decided to do pick up order this time because I had a semi bad experience with my recent drive up order. But it made me regret walking inside the store to pick it up. The employees here need to have a sense of urgency. If you have a area where it takes/services all the returns & online pick up order with 5/6 people deep then call for back up on the radio. They all wear one and constantly talk on it so I was waiting in the separate waiting line for online pick up and I was waiting for 15/20 mins and never once the employee said I will be with you but observing his slowness and no sense of urgency of the return line he was helping..like you can tell everyone else was bothered too and even one woman left the line! I think employers like Target need do more than to hire just to hire if you have open availability and if you can be friendly, approachable and etc for customer service. BUT, they need do more quality hiring and NEED to look at the efficiency, urgency, and accuracy of the employee themselves and their work ethnics post hiring and such. It kinda make me think of when I thought about working here (thank god that never became a thing-the universe was looking at for me!) and interviewed for this job a long time ago..it makes sense why this actual location is the way it is. Because of the store mgr at the time who said she was going for a store director and the human resources woman too. Its funny how they be selective but look at who they actually hire. LOL. I have government job now but I had worked in retail mgmt for 15 yrs prior and I can tell you....that they dont know how to schedule and prioritize their areas correctly. It's been a known thing about that Target doesnt ever have enough coverage as is because of hours...but that is where managers needs to speak up to the higher ups and tell them that what is this right now ain't it. read more

They need to stop letting people bring their dogs into the store (it is against the Health Department regulations where there is food being sold). These are not service dogs. Emotional support dogs do not have the same rules as service dogs. Stop feeling bad about leaving your dog at home! If your dog has separation anxiety, GET training for it. The manager of this store turns a blind eye to this practice. He does not know the law. I have told him three times and now I have to report it to the Health Department. Dogs are germy and should not be placed in shopping carts where other people will be placing their food. The shopping carts are not sanitary in the first place but dog dirt makes it worse. read more

I don't know who needs to hear this (spoiler: it's you, long-haired Target pickup guy), but when a customer says, "Hi, how are you?" the correct response is not to stare at them like you're buffering. This is about the lanky, unkempt white guy with the glasses who haunts the pickup lane like he's allergic to human interaction. Every time I come through, I greet him like a normal, polite adult. Every time, I'm met with a blank, borderline hostile stare like I've personally ruined his entire week by existing. Sir, I am not your villain. I'm just here for my Ziploc bags and allergy meds. If you hate customer interaction this much, maybe don't take the one job that requires you to walk up to people's windows and physically hand them things? Just a thought. I'm not asking for Shakespeare. Just a "hi." Or a nod. Or literally anything that doesn't feel like you're about to laser-beam me through my windshield. Do better. read more

I have a $5 gift card that's loaded in my Circle App. I showed the barcode during a purchase today and it did not work. No manager or employee knew how to redeem it. After an hour of the poor experience, I decided to buy the items I selected without the $5 gift card. The Employee Heather who claimed to be a manager said she would have to ring up the items again. I just walked out. I will report Target to California Department of Weights and Measures. I have heard other stores about Target Gift Cards not being accepted. I will not shop at Target again unless they fix this. They are ripping off the community. read more

This store has a lot to improve on. The first one is cleanliness of the bathrooms. You can get here first thing in the morning and the bathroom is filthy with only half of the stalls working. Second this store is very poorly stocked. A lot of staple items people need every day are consistently out an lots of empty shelves. It's not a supply chain issue because if you go a few minutes down the street to Torrance everything is in stock. They really need to work on making this store better. read more

This is my go-to Target. It isn't the best one, but I usually can find what I need and then some! This Target is located behind South Bay Galleria (mall) on Kingsdale Ave. There is parking on the ground floor under Target and surrounding the building in the parking lots. This particular Target has the shopping on the second floor. You can take the elevator, escalator or stairs. When you finish shopping and need to bring your cart down, there is a cart escalator that runs alongside of the down escalator. You can keep your eye on your cart! The one register at the self check-out area was broken when I was told to go use it. Not sure what happened, but I had to pick up all my stuff and put it in the cart and start over at another register. It's usually quicker to do the check-out myself than to wait in the long lines for the cashiers. There are only a few on duty, so it backs up. There's room for improvement here. Also, as is with a lot of places, there is low stock on lots of items. I noticed my brand of cat food was completely out and I had to buy it online. There's often a person watching as people exit. Making sure nobody is shoplifting. Theft Protection person. They don't physically check receipts, but they do watch what's going on! I usually go to the CVS Pharmacy inside this Target for my prescriptions. If you need some energy while you shop or for your drive home, there's a Starbucks here, too! Even though this is an ordinary Target store, I will be back because this is where I shop. I know where most things are. read more

Justin was the manger on duty when I visited Target on October 12, 2024. This has to be the most disgusting Target bathroom I have ever been inside. There were 4 stalls snd 2 were the only ones working and unacceptable. I brought it up to one of the associates in customer service. I waited around to speak to Justin but he never showed. I understand being under- staffed and busy bc it is a Saturday - but come on... bathrooms are an every hour check (emptying the trash, restocking toilet paper, making sure the floor is clear) - especially bc customers are constantly using the bathrooms. I am now scared to come here. There is a homeless pallet shelter located within the same block, and there has been an influx of theft and crime in the SB Galleria as a result of that and other factors. Parking garage is suspect, do not park there. Park in the open area with lots of light or where others can see you. When you do drive-up order, do NOT leave your window down, lock your doors and wait. I had a drug store shopping obsession in the '80's. I would spend hours combing the aisles for the miracle house cleaner, the perfect gee-your-hair-smells-terrific shampoo/conditioner combo, the I'm-young-and-keep-it-that-way moisturizer and the latest micro sized lead mechanical pencils. At one time I had enough products, light bulbs and shower gel to start a drug store of my own. Fast forward to today, I'm a Target fan. Not a surprise really, but this I admit: my taste in products has changed dramatically because, frankly this "getting older" thing is not exactly something to sign up for (do you hear me t'weens?) These days online shopping is more my jam. It's not perfect but neither is parking in the next county to "get some steps in". The couple times something arrives less than perfect isn't awful - the return, replace or refund process is super simple. Swift too. And I like that I miss the temptation check out displays because let's face it, I totally do not need a Hershey's bar with almonds. It turns out I purchase the same things...often.... so loading up on the things I've "hearted" makes the process so easy even a caveman can do it. Love you cavemen! This review is directed at Brian. He's a stocker that I have seen on a few occasions, and he's seriously the nicest guy! Not only is he friendly, but he's always willing to go the extra mile for you. Earlier today, my wife, son, and I came in for a quick trip to pick up some of my gluten-free essentials that they don't carry at the Target that's a little closer to our house. I was having trouble finding the gluten-free Yasso ice cream bars I like. Brian saw me looking and asked which ones I wanted and found them instantly. I mentioned that I was grateful and that we were going to grab some gluten-free Digiornos while we were there. He said that they didn't actually have any out, but he was pretty sure he'd seen a box in the back. He told me to hang out for a couple of minutes, and he'd see if he could find them. Sure enough, a couple of minutes later, he showed up with a bunch of them and handed me a couple. Brian for the win! Target trips aren't always the most exciting thing... Y'all know how it is. This use to be my favorite target around. Came in today and the service had gone down soooo much! My daughter was gifted a $6 shirt to match with her friend, however it was a bit small. Came in to exchange it and the lady at customer service said she would need to return it on a merchant certificate and that now there was a limit of $100. It's a $6 shirt but ok. After giving me the merchant certificate she walked away. I told her I wanted to purchase the same shirt in different size and she said " you have to go to a register I can't help you here." They can't ever find your stuff and this last time I waited over 30 mins! Kudos for their cleanliness, but this store has so much less inventory than any other places. Why? I don't know, it located in a very nice area, big store, big parking structures, very little items, no restock. A design of giant entrance which you have to take the escalator upstairs, and they didn't bother to have stuffs filled up the shelves. I walked around their store, most of the shelves were empty mix and match, super disorganized, especially at the toys department. This place in need of rearrangement on items. read more

Target where I lose all my money, but yet they are often out of stock of all the things I initially went for. So I end up with a cart full of things I don't need but bought anyway and they had almost nothing in stock that I did need. I wish they would do better with their inventory. This Target is my favorite. I have one closer to home, but in this Target the staff is more friendly and they're willing to help no matter how busy they are. I came in with my two boys today and it was all the little things she did with them, pulled out their toys for them to hold, showed them how to bag our items and told them where to put the frozen items. She reminded me to use my app and get my coupons! I ended up having some credits on my app that weren't used. She did it all with such warmth and a smile. Stopped in to grab a few items for my house & was pleasantly surprised at this location. A lot of items were in stock and customer service was superb. The line was down one of the main aisles and one of the associates was directing customers to the registers while practicing social distancing. There are a few targets that have not implemented this type of structure and it's a free for all for customers which makes the lines longer and confusing! So big shoutout to this Target for doing it right. They had a ton of home goods that my local Target was out of stock on so I was super satisfied. read more

My visit to this Target today was a little disappointing. I went specifically for their one-day gift card promotion where the Target gift cards were 10% off. When I walked in, there were no shopping carts available, even though the parking lot didn't look that full. I started looking for their gift cards, which are usually at the check stands. No luck...every bin was empty. I inquired with one of the employees, and she told me to check the front of the store. There were none to be found. I asked another employee, and she told me to check the registers. I looked again, but no luck. I asked someone else, and was directed to the front I felt like I was in an endless loop. None of the employees were willing to look for any, and kept passing the buck. In prior years, there seemed to be an ample supply of gift cards available in the store. What happened this year? YELP 100 CHALLENGE 2018 - PART 2: 95/100 One of the bigger Target's I've walked in to. And talk about spacious! There was plenty of room for people to maneuver around each other without really having to crowd each other even while using a cart! Clean. Organized. Things were in place. Came here for a car seat for my nephew and found it with ease. Check out was quick as well. It's too bad I was on a tight schedule, I would have liked to have done a bit more exploring.
