I placed an order for my family at this store. I don't live in Pasadena but was running errands. The app told me withon two hours so I had enough time to run errands in Pasadena. I waited two hours and change then called the store to check the status. I was told they were running behind it will take 2-4 hours. So o waited in the parking lot another hour. The floor supervisor stated they had no control of the order. I had to wait. I waited four hours and no update. No one was willing to ask and see where my order was in process. Everyone said the same thing. "That's a whole different department ". Including the team lead. I understand they can get busy but all I asked was see where my order order was. Horrible location. A lot of priceless items, especially larger packs of toilet paper seem to have no price. Items are misplaced all around the store and it's hard to figure it out how much things are... Hot mess on shelves... I needed some help locating the item I needed- I couldn't find any person working on the floor.... after making almost a full circle - I was able to find a super nice lady in electronics... it was 9:30 pm... Im a loyal TARGET shopper and I have NEVER had an issue with customer service until today. I made a purchase and accidentally left my card at the register and didn't realize until I got home. I attempted to contact TARGET for a total of 45 minutes and about 15-20 phone calls and NO ONE ANSWERED! With the amount of employees on the floor on a daily you would think that they would make sure that someone was attending to the phones! And after all the wait... no credit card found... they did suggest I keep trying to call back to see if it was turned in to lost & found... at the rate that they answer their phones im better of requesting a new card! read more

I have always used this location for all our needs. However today, and more than ever when I need it, I placed an order very early and it should have been ready in two hours. Since I used the drive up option. I have been waiting since 10 am (since I placed the order at 9 am) and now it is 6:06 and nothing. I am in a cast and asked my neighbor to please pick it up for me when it was ready but I'm still waiting!!!!! I should've just used Ralphs service. Employee Kivork at the register has amazing customer service. Very friendly, polite, and very understanding when it comes to dealing with shoppers. I've had unpleasant store visits at several Target stores. However, my recent visits to the Pasadena East store have been wonderful! The Store Manager Tony at Pasadena East is attentive, professional, courteous, and warm. He makes our shopping at Pasadena East so much more pleasant! He goes over and beyond to make sure we are happy with our buying experience at the Target store. He always checks up on us whenever the wait is long or when we need help. He is terrific! He is the reason we continuously go back to Pasadena East Target instead of the other Target stores. Interestingly​ enough, this Target is huge, has ample parking in its parking structure, but I've only been here twice. I can't even answer my own question if I was to ask myself that. But I think because​ it's a bit out of my way freeway wise, and it'll take me an eternity to get here locally. And it's only about five miles away from home. The store is gigantic. Basically the size of two Targets stacked on top of each other. They are well stocked. Plenty of clothes to choose from, whether it's workout gear or undergarments. A perfect store to shop for children. Other items also in abundance are household items such as cleansers, mops, brooms, etc. The grocery department however, I will stay with the supermarkets. You'll basically find snacks, drinks, coffee items, some chips and that's about it. The whole store is clean. Not as organized as it should be, but good enough. They have elevators and escalators to cater your needs. And the employees are nice. A pretty good store to shop at whether you live in the​ area, or just driving by. read more

I like this location, it has plenty of parking and I've always found these aisles fully stocked. Some locations run out of size 4 diapers all the time! What?! Why?! I waited on the phone for 17 minutes for the pharmacy to pick up the phone, when the girl picked up she said her name was something like Andy, I was trying to make conversation with her. She didn't want to talk to me so I asked for the mgr., she wanted to know why, when I asked again to speak to the mgr. she had disappeared from the phone, I waited on what I thought was hold for another ten minutes then I hung up and called back the store. There wasn't one department that picked up the phone. I believe the corporate office should do something about this matter, it seems that all the pharmacy is interested in is scheduling vaccine appointments where they take in more Money from the government and insurance. For 9 color photos, I paid $31.69. I discovered, too late, that at a popular online color photo lab, the cost would have been around $26. With the coupon, it would be $19.21. Watch out with your coupons. Some of these older Karens act like we're taking money out of their pocket. Like chill! I bought 5 of the same product and have 1 coupon per product. Yes it has the same number on each coupon. Duh! If I clipped the same coupon from 5 different magazines what's it to you?! The machine accepted my coupons so why aren't you? What's even more irritating is that the supervisor was gonna let me do separate transactions since Karen was having a fit but ultimately changed his mind when Karen squealed "But Ethan, the coupons have the same number. I am a regular at this location. So, naturally, I came here to buy supplies before socially distancing myself for the I definite future (my school district has a proposed date, but that is uncertain). The employee Skye did a magnificent job. Apparently, she hadbeen on shift the night before (another customer told me) and was on again at the 8 am opening. Another customer dropped a glass bottle of kabocha. Skye managed the clean up and navigating customers around the mess without hesitation. There was zero negativity and all positive vibes. She kept things moving with nobody publicly doubting her. Myself and the gentleman in line behind me thanked her and remarked on her grace under pressure and professionalism. I don't like to be lied to... one of their employee flat out lied about a product saying they were sold out, when in fact it was in stock, but by the time I was in lined up, it was sold out. I would understand if it was limited and all, but straight out lie to everyone. I would not be mad if they sold out while I was waiting for the limited supply, but I don't like to be lied to. Speed Bumps of death!!! The most convenient location when I am in this area and need to do a quick Target run. I hate those million unforgiving speed bumps they have here! And every time I turn to the parking lanes, I swear my car is going to hit the top poles. I am not a fan of the layout here. It is not as easy to talk or navigate as other Targets. There are a number of reasons why I love target, but with that being said this location needs a reality check. We are in the middle of a pandemic yet when I visit this store I see all precautions thrown out the window. As a customer I would like to know the store is doing it's best to keep me and the workers safe. I have witnessed several workers casually walk by and great customers without a mask. A simple action that can have a great impact at this time and they are not even able to enforce the mask mandate. This has spiraled out of control for this location specifically after several reports from diffrnt sources have confirmed multiple covid cases. As a billion dollar company, do the right thing and close down while you sort things out because you can afford to. We the customers and your employees must go home to the uncertainty of spreading this disease to our family. As a customer I can assure you of my support when you open back up and much more I am sure you will gain the respect of many of you treat this situation seriously. read more

But, I think you knew many people would be caught off guard, and it was really nice of you to have a giveaway bag ready. And it's a pretty nice bag, too! You definitely have my part of town covered. I think there are 4 Targets within an easy drive from my house, and I pretty much give you half of my salary every week, especially with the baby these days. But that's only because you have such gosh-darned awesome stuff. Your credit card is pretty good, too, with 5% off every purchase. I just stumbled on thisTarget while driving to my lunch spot in Pasadena. I always carry a list of items I need in my wallet. With all the driving I do, I never know when I have to kill time and that's when I can shop for my essentials. I was lucky to find parking on the street with an hour free. Inside, around noon it was packed. The entire store was surprisingly well stocked and was glad to get there when I did. This store has two levels. They have a chart which lists which departments are on the second floor like toys and mens, The kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom stuff are on the first. I love all Targets because they have clean bathrooms, cheap food and snacks. Though most are not healthy I still really like their popcorn or pretzel with soda combo for $2.50. They have good specials too. Target is overall just a good store. They had all the stuff I needed. I finally got in line. There was a couple in front of me whose credit/debit card kept on getting a weird "suspended transaction" message. The wife was getting really red faced embarrassed. But she kept telling her husband she was sure she had enough money in there. The cashier said kind of quietly, "I'm sorry sir, the card is not working. Would you like me to try it again or do you want to try another card?" I thought it cool she kept it on the low. Normally a type A personality guy like me would start to get anxious and consider dropping everything and shop later. But some cashier nonchalantly grabbed my basket, opened a new register, and I was out of there in less than two minutes. The older couple got their problem fixed as well. First of all, I'm a bit confused as to why there is a new posting for Target but anywho... this Target is one of my go-to Targets. The layout is like my usual one in Alhambra. Clothes on the left, home decor/appliances in the middle, and toys, food, and cosmetics on the right. The parking is massive but it gets super crowded so you may end up parking super far or on the underground level lot. Either way, it isn't too bad of a walk. They have everything you need from the usual Targets. You one-stop shop for the ever essential Target runs. Always remember to check the Cartwheel app for some deals. They also recently added self-checkout which makes the process easier when the other lines are packed with people. I prefer this one over the one in Rosemead. The parking over there seems even more complicated and getting to that one is dangerous enough with all the extra cars and crazy drivers. One final thing to note is that sometimes, there are food trucks or the fruit carts outside the Target so you can grab some food after you shop. Target for the win! This Target in particular has done a really nice job making a relatively standard store look pretty spectacular inside. The design layout is really nice, especially the home furnishings department. It almost doesn't feel like you are in an averaged priced department store, it seems a bit more upscale. Perhaps it was because I went right when they opened and everything was in perfect order. None the less, I love this Target... my Red Card shows proof of that. Nice little Starbucks inside with great customer service. Underground parking as well as a very large lot. read more

She calls me up and asks how she can help and instantly cut me off and talking over me and talking to another employee completely ignoring me. She looked up my item on her phone inly cause I asked and quickly gave an. "I dont know" answer. She only looked online because I asked, otherwise dismissing me and found it in plus size and acted if she found my size.... I'm a really tiny person.... i found my top online at home and in my size on the Target site she claimed didn't have the item. *** NOTE *** This is the Target on the EAST SIDE of Pasadena, across the street from the car dealership and ARCO gas station. . . I'm not going to lie, Target is my ultimate favorite store, and I so lovingly call it "tar-jay". . . HOWEVER, Targets do vary in location. This is "my" Target - it's the closest to my house, it's super convenient, I'm there almost every week, and I know where everything is. :o) The pharmacy is efficient here - they call me every time my automatic refill is in (like today!) (JUNE is really efficient and great!), the optometrist is really nice and informational, the people that help you order glasses and contacts are very nice and accommodating, when I've ordered pictures I've never had a problem - regular film or digital. . . and the selection is great. Target has everything! (almost) The downsides to THIS Target? The checkout people could stand to be upgraded and/or trained better. Some of the managers are dingbats, and I wonder HOW they got to their positions. There's one lady if she's working, no matter if she has a long line, I'll go to her register - she's that efficient. The customer service desk is "ok". . . I HATE returning stuff to Target, and they've changed their policy - they won't take something back w/out the receipt that's over $20 - WTF? Even if it's Target brand . . . double WTF! The snack bar in this Target is marginal. . . decent, but not stellar. . . yet I always find myself getting something from there (under $2 icees?! yes!). This store is kept up fairly well, it's cleaner than some Targets that I've been to. I love the prices and the selection - I can guarantee that I'll walk out of the store w/twice as much is on my list - and possibly forget what I went into Target for. I have been in when they don't have a simple item that I've run in for - and that irritates me because its such a basic item (i.e. BABY TYLENOL!!). . . All in all, even though I'm a stickler for customer service, I love Target, and I choose to go here than the one that's near Old Town (2-stories). The layout of the store is just better, parking is easier, I know where everything is, and I know which cashiers to check out w/. This is my favorite go to Target in the morning before work during the holidays. Love that they open at 7 am. Items here are always stocked, customer service is always good and friendly. Store is clean and organized and I never have any issues with locating and finding things. They also have Starbucks and Wich Wich located inside, once you enter its to your right. Wait time for both Starbucks and Wich Wich is really quick, never had an issue with my orders. Few items: - plenty of parking - sometimes have cosmetic sales associate to assist if needed - customer service line is NEVER long - love their online purchase pick up in store, I can literally order before midnight and it would be available for pick up next day 7 am Only down thing - - prices, slightly a bit more compared to other stores, I get it sometimes its city to city, but there was a price difference with this store and the other one in Pasadena, weird Overall, I will keep coming here, I like it, its never packed. I came to this location this morning after being redirected from the Rosemead store. It was early so the store was fairly quite.. a polite gentlemen by the door was able to direct me to electronics. Upon arriving to the department no one was behind the counter, but before I could look to ask for help...I was approached for my needs. Long story short I got my game in less than 5 minutes including transaction. She was polite and quick which I can appreciate after having to drive to another store. I was so happy I headed over to their starbucks for my mocha Frap, and coffee cake and the two young ladies there we're pleasant also =)... again I can appreciate that considering not all employees are morning people (hint hint) lol Overall I had a great service experience from both ends of this location and that made my day! read more
